Excellent swimming pools both indoors and outdoors, adequate play area for children, slides according to my children, nice staff present in the pool, excellent cleanliness... very honest prices for spending a day in the pool

The thermal bath was a relaxing experience. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The various thermal pools provided a relaxing atmosphere and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Good swimming pool possibility. Different tubs, also with exit to the open air. Since we were on a Tuesday, from 9.00 it is quite quiet. Around 11.30 a lot of people.

We often go there when we are on holiday in Ticino. Children can have fun on the slides while adults can swim. There are four swimming pools: one for free swimming, a heated outdoor one, a shallower one for children and a small one for babies.

Badenmeister kicked me out for no reason.

Actually a nice swimming pool, but there are only 4 normal/boring slides. The majority of the staff were also unfriendly. Otherwise everything was ok. I would have expected a little more considering that you have to pay more if you want to slide.

Super friendly staff at the checkout. The bathroom is clean. Unfortunately we couldn't go to the beach anymore, even though it was very warm. The lifeguard at the outdoor pool is very strict when young people are playing in the water.

I wanted to go to the sauna but it's without clothes so I gave up.

Completely overpriced. There is no information on the internet or at the entrance that you cannot swim in the lake. 2 children's pools not in operation. No information about that either. A small indoor pool for children. However, you are warned by the lifeguard that you are not allowed to slide on your knees. Adults look angry when something is splashed around. Never again. Food is also too expensive and undercooked.

Nice well looked after place. It's a shame that the water is a bit cold and that the children struggle to stay in it.

Because of our love for diving, this swimming pool really appealed to us. A separate tower pool with good supervision. Fixed times when the 7.5 and 10 meters opened. Slides (for which you have to pay a little extra upon entry), large lawns with shade from the trees. If necessary, bring your own parasol or chair. Indoor pool, outside another pool for swimming laps. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore. Worth the effort.

Great pool, superb view, very kid-friendly. One outside pools is heated to what feels like 36°. Starting September 2023 they are renovating quite few pools too!

We were in Locarno for the triathlon and the entrance fee was included so we chilled before the event. The place is really nice, it feels luxurious for the price you pay - which I think it’s 13 francs. The structure is very modern and the areas themselves are clean and inviting.

The cost of parking has skyrocketed from less than 5.- CHF per day to more than 12.- the beach may be nice but getting fleeced is not!

Fantastic property perfect for families with or without children. Space for relaxation and fun for all ages. I advise.

We were there in the summer and treated ourselves to two loungers with a parasol - these are Swiss prices, but you know that beforehand. The loungers were right on the beach. We thought the swimming pool was great. The children really liked the slides, as well as the diving board. The bathroom was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We didn't use any restaurants.

Swimming laps in the outdoor pool when the weather is nice, with a view of the wonderful mountain panorama, has a special appeal. The complex itself is spacious and very well maintained. The actual Lido, i.e. the beach and swimming area directly in Lake Langensee, is a bit puny in comparison.

A very beautiful place for swimmers, particularly with a 50m outdoor pool and a 25m indoor pool where you can swim with a view of the mountains and the lake). Sometimes crowded, but good organization and very clean place.

Basically, you can't swim in the lake, only a small part is reserved, the water smells like fish. Full of ill-behaved children, jumping into the pool even though it is forbidden.

Reasonable price, especially because of the student discount. It has a lot to offer, such as a warm water bath, a looping slide (but it hurt my back), a 10m diving platform and also access to the lake (unfortunately not a nice entrance with a lot of mud and also very rocky). Overall, a very inexpensive outdoor pool.

There are diving platforms, waterslides, and many pools of different sizes, suitable for children of all ages. The water quality is very clean and the grass is very comfortable to bask in the sun. Admission is discounted if you have a Ticino card.

A great outdoor and indoor swimming pool with direct access to the lake. By the way, it's enough to enter the lake and swimming area, which saves you some money. The food at the bistro is good, typical Swiss prices so it's best to take plenty of change with you. Card payment possible. It is also possible to bring your own picnic. We really enjoyed the day at the end of our vacation and can recommend the pool. (Family with 2 kids)

Clean and nice swimming pool and well affordable because they sell family tickets. Even though there were a lot of people, there was plenty of room. Only the slides are very busy.

Several pools: inside, outside, warm, cold, deep, flat, hot tub, slides and high diving. Big green area on the lake, small restaurant. Clean toilets, rest- and changingrooms with lockers.

If you are in Locarno with kids, then be sure to visit the Lido di Locarno! A place perfectly adapted for small children: lots of grass and safety pools. Perfect for spending family moments!

Well organized lido with a lot of swimming pools and one of them with hot water. There is also a diving area with trampoline and also a local restaurant which serves burgers, salats & pizza. The entry price for an adult is only 13 CHF. Totally worth the drive from Zurich considering the huge temperature differences ☀️🔝

Lido Locarno - A heavenly swimming paradise! We recently had an unforgettable day at the Lido Locarno Swimming Pool, and we can safely say that it is a true paradise for swimming! The views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking, and the location is simply perfect for a relaxing day by the water. The pools are clean, well maintained and offer something for everyone. Whether you want to swim in the refreshing water, rush down the slides, relax in the jacuzzis, dive from various planks & heights or enjoy the sun on the extensive lawn, Lido Locarno has it all! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The facilities were well organized and there were plenty of changing rooms and lockers available. Another plus is the café where you can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshing drinks. It made our day at the pool complete! We can highly recommend Lido Locarno to anyone looking for a great swimming experience in beautiful surroundings. Whether you go with family, friends or just solo, you are guaranteed to have a fantastic time at Lido Locarno. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this waterfront paradise again!

Nice bathroom. Unfortunately, the safety regulations for the slides are not checked and therefore children and young people do not comply with them.

Outdoor hot pool, lap pool, children's pools; inside other swimming pools and gym. Vast space on the lawn, bar, restaurant, walkway over the lake, possibility of taking a sunbed with umbrella. Lots of parking outside. Fantastic place to spend the summer or weekend

Nice experience... shame about some precautions such as climbing into the diving pool which was closed because there weren't enough lifeguards, it's not a problem for us customers since we pay the entrance fee. It's like entering a restaurant and ordering a pizza and saying that the pizza chef isn't there... The queue on the slides is also avoidable. This is done by ensuring that the lifeguard identifies people with bracelets and does not allow those without them to enter. The rotary entrance above the staircase is an automatic queue creator, sometimes it does not work and prevents the free passage of people. The rest is very good and I have to compliment the organization. Clean pools, clean area and very attentive staff. Well done

Me and my son enjoyed the slides and the jumping tower. Taking an umbrella is definitely an advantage. It also has a warm pool for……. The island on the lake is fun to throw into the water. But the beach could still do with some creative beautification, as entry isn't free either 🤪 There is room for improvement. Parking is certainly challenging on a summer day. Think positively and then you'll be fine 🌟

Overcrowded in summer, no parking spaces, little shade, old outdoor area, not a nice beach and even the baby pool is only 1/5 shaded. At least the price/performance ratio isn't right during the summer holidays.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to walk into the lake. It has many stones. It also doesn't have any stone slabs to walk on. The jetty is also closed. They also made the kiosk really stupid. You stand in the sun for 30 minutes until your turn comes. Everything is very tight. A pity.

The outdoor area is very nice, but there are very few shaded areas. The access to the lake is very shallow and rocky, so not for swimmers. With an entrance fee of 13 CHF, the price-performance ratio is not right.

I love this place , very neat and clean Its a fun distention for the family More than 5 swimming pool with different sizes , small aqua park inside Shaded pools , and nice restrant as well Negative point : 1 bottle of water cost 3.5 euro ( you can imagine the rest ) Also the entrance ticket cost 20 euro approx which is very expensive compared to the other lido in Switzerland

Amazing pool! - Clean, large, everything well-organized - Lovely warm outdoor pool with a bubble bath and a view of the mountains - Really cool water slides on an amusement park level (there's an extra fee at the entrance if you want to use them) - Nice toddler pool with a soft bottom and a slide for the little ones in the main pool - Delicious fries at the restaurant (note: the portions are huge) - Large inflatable cushion on the lake - And several diving boards too In short: highly recommended!

Very expensive pool 13fr daily entry but you are not allowed to leave the facility and have to pay again! The pools overflowed. Slide also costs extra. Bistro very expensive!! 13fr small salad. Drinks very expensive e.g. Redbull 6 fr. More expensive than Langstrasse! Recommend climbing over the fence

The ticket is valid for one entry. You cannot leave the complex for even 5 minutes (you have to buy a ticket). For a 1-day ticket at CHF 15.-- for an adult (with locker / without slides), it is very disappointing.

Fantastic place. As a traveller from the UK this provided a welcome place for relaxation, some sun, shade (helpfully!) and a great swim and slide. Really great setting beside the lake with beach and lake access. Large grassed areas with deckchairs or sun loungers, An Olympic height diving platform and aqua climbing (a first for me!) in a separate pool. A large outdoor pool great for lengths but also a fantastic temperature for a hot day. A heated outdoor pool that was like a bath on a hot day and children's splash play pool. Indoors two large pool areas. Finally 4 fantastic slides / flumes. We tried 3 but the vertical drop of the 4th saw us chicken out. A bit pricey but worth it!

In my opinion one of the best Lidos in Switzerland. Big, lots of space, lots of pools, a great children's pool, bouncy castle. Meals available in the restaurant and in the bistro/takeaway. There is one minus point for a lady at the checkout who wasn't very nice or patient. But everyone else was very nice, some despite the language barrier. Few staff with knowledge of German, some not even English, but at least very hard-working and helpful.

Very nice lido, but we came specifically because of the diving tower, 7 and 10m! It would have been good if we had known beforehand that my son wasn't allowed to jump here, there is an age requirement - absolutely wrong - for children who are experienced jumpers! The disappointment was huge:( I've never seen a swimming pool with age restrictions for the diving tower! We definitely won't be coming again.

Beautifully located by the lake. With indoor pool and outdoor pool (one is also heated). Free play equipment on the lake! (In Ascona it costs 10.-Fr. per 45 minutes!!!). Much more family friendly. 5 Stars.

It should be possible to buy tickets online these days?! The employees at the only three checkouts took an incredibly long time. The entrance fee is a complete rip-off and completely overpriced. The wardrobe in general and the floor were dirty. The only positive thing was the outside ambience and the beautiful panorama of Lake Maggiore.

Entrance fee if you use most of the offer at CHF 13.- (June 23) for adults, okay, if you just want to swim, it's not worth it. Plus, parking in the Lido area is cheap. About 3-4 francs for one day. The baby pool should be improved/renewed, which is actually okay, but the surface is rough and no longer up to date. E.g. A metal pool like the one in Lido Lugano would be great.

It's a very nice place and the people there are very nice, very friendly and ready to help. Four stars only because parking is expensive everywhere, of course if you can find it❤️.

Beautiful swimming pool with playground, toddlers', children's, whirlpool and diving pools, marked section of the lake with diving tower and raft. A few trees provide shade, sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented. Catering possible on site. Good deal and everything available in one place. It's a shame that the toddler pool is made of rough stoneware. Unfortunately, skin abrasions can happen quickly and sitting there is not particularly pleasant for the accompanying person. The fourth star was only given because the rest was convincing. Buying tickets online in advance is certainly not a bad idea during the summer/high season.

Great swimming pool complex with indoor and outdoor pools, slide, springboard, large sunbathing lawn and roped off swimming area in the adjacent Lake Maggiore. You can also eat there. There is also a sports fitness facility. The entrance fee of CHF 12 for a full day of swimming is decent.
