Pizza was nice, however there is no wine menu. Asked for the house wine, and we got charged €42 CHF for a ok bottle of Rose! Be careful seems like they do this on purpose, scam 😳

Horrible staff in the restaurant, extremely rude, shouting at customers, no minimum level of manners, sarcastic and in general very unprofessional. I wonder what kind of management can gather such bunch of horrible staff and put them in one place. Take out staff are nice and professional though stressed, I am referring to the in-house staff.

The food and the ambience are good. Unfortunately we have to deduct stars from the service. We are disappointed with the performance for the 4th time in a row. Our dinner order (6 people) was completely forgotten twice and served incorrectly or not at the same time twice. There was never a cozy family dinner. Our friendly complaint was responded to very rudely and at the end we were offered a limoncello, which all guests also received. We are very disappointed and will definitely not eat there again!

We wanted to eat an ice cream coupe with the children (2 adults and 2 children) in the evening. After 20 minutes the waitress came, without a good evening or any other greeting, just an unfriendly “mangare!” We said that we would like to order a coupe. The waitress then cleared away all the table sets and place settings and disappeared without taking the order. After waiting another 20 minutes without being able to place the order, we got up frustrated and left.

Apero (Campari Spritz) 10 francs. OK. What is missing? We even saved on a mini side dish (portion of chips or similar). That doesn't invite you to linger. Sorry. When I asked politely, I was told I could get something from the supermarket next door. That's almost outrageous!

We go once but the atmosphere is very friendly and the food is very good. 👍

Saturday 9th October dinner... Fillet alla piadina. Received a half fillet of about 3 cm. tall, overcooked, price of a normal fillet of at least 6 cm. Correctness???

I was really looking forward to it, unfortunately the food wasn't as good as the surroundings. And another 70 francs for that. probably to be paid once. The bread in the bruschetta was rock hard, the turkey was too dry and there should have been more than just 5 in the Gambieri plate. At least the SERVICE was friendly.

Oh the pizza calzone from Lido Mappo. It's extremely quick and always tastes delicious. I'd love to come back :-)

Fast service with good advice. Waited less than five minutes between arrival, ordering and the various courses. Fine lunch. Recommended restaurant.

Food and selection good. It's a shame that the experience ended with a 20 minute wait for the bill and then another 30 minute wait to pay, even though the restaurant wasn't full and we expressed our wish several times. As far as possible, it was avoided that the bill could be split. Service was a huge flop, disorganized and unmotivated! There was no apology for the waiting time. The last time we had exactly the same experience was two years ago. This was the last visit. It's a shame for the good cuisine.

We were 3 adults, 1 child. Wanted to eat ice cream. We had to wait 20 minutes until we were served. Even though we tried to call the waiter. Eye contact and then the waiters immediately looked away. There were 3 waiters for the terrace which was half occupied. The ice cream came without napkins, no plate on which the coupe glass stood and the spoon was simply placed on the table. To pay we had to wait another 15 minutes and almost “beg”. The receipt was hastily placed on the table and the waiter immediately disappeared. The ice cream was tasty, but the service is not recommended at all. Last season the service was friendly and attentive. No idea what happened.

The one waiter with black hair was very unfriendly. We first had to wait 25 minutes for the order. When we wanted Zhalen we had to wait another 40 minutes and then went to the checkout ourselves. (Didn't have many guests) Disappointingly, I don't know Lido Mappo so much.!

We only drank coffee there. Has a beautiful pergola.

The food itself was good, but took over an hour. waited for the food! There were two of us, my husband's pizza came 20 minutes later, nothing to eat with two people! The bill was charged 80.- more!

Almost didn't eat because of the arrogant attitude of one of the waiters named Simone. I can tell you that this costs customers. We were eventually allowed to sit inside, but the gentleman did not feel like having anything to drink or eat. After waiting almost 20 minutes we wanted to leave. Fortunately, I think the owner or manager noticed us and an extremely friendly lady came to take our order and bring us a menu. The food was good, the pizza was fine, but I think a dish like caprese salad should also have basil on it and was therefore just not finished. It was not high season so there was no reason for extreme crowds. More staff like this lady then it is four stars.

Feine Pizza zum leider etwas überteuerten Preis. Lange wartezeit auf den Service auch wenn es darum geht den Tisch abzuräumen. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt auf dem Camping Lido Mappo.

Wir waren heute im Ristorante Lido Mappo und das Essen war fantastisch. Ich kann das Osso Buco nur empfehlen. Die Bedienung war sehr gut und es war sehr kinderfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nicht zu empfehlen. Never again. Gewartet, falsches Essen, dann zurückgenommen, gleiches Fleisch (Entrecote) aufgewärmt wieder gebracht. Gemüse extra verrechnet.

Die Crew der Familie Norfio, vormals vom Ai Fienile nebenan, übernahm das Lido Mappo 2020. Die Karte bietet allen etwas Feines, der Service ist herzlich, die Terrasse hat eine wunderbare Pergola. Ich genoss einen meisterhaft zubereiteten Ossobucco und meine Tochter wunderbare Spaghetti. Besser geht nicht.

Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp - die Küche ist aus meiner Sicht so hervorragend, dass man als Urlauber gar nicht erst in Versuchung kommt woanders essen zu gehen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist nach Schweizer Verhältnissen gut - aus deutscher Sicht (mittlerweile ein Umrechnungskurs von fast 1:1) sehr teuer. Pizzen liegen da bei ca. 15 Euro (Franken) und Fleisch- und Fischgerichte bei ca. 20 - 30 Euro (Franken). Egal was man nun wählt, alle Speisen sind frisch zubereitet, die Fleischqualität stimmt und die Portionen reichen zum Sattwerden allemal. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und der Service ist flott.

Wonderful terrace, beautiful view of the lake, relaxed atmosphere among camping guests. In high season, be patient with the service. Delicious pizzas and generally good cuisine.

We really liked the campsite, but I can't recommend the good reviews for the restaurant. Our pizzas for 15 francs were very greasy and the mushrooms were canned.

Restaurant at the Lido Mappo campsite, excellent for going for lunch or dinner.

The restaurant looks good and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately I can only recommend the pizzas from the menu, nothing else. The fitness plate with chicken in particular was a bad joke and nothing more than a green salad with (unwanted) fruit. The waitresses are not particularly receptive and like to bring something different than what you ordered.

Restaurant directly on the campsite. Large selection of Italian dishes. Inexpensive and delicious.
