Lieblingsplatz Café in Winterthur

The neighborhood has been waiting for this cafe. From the cozy interior, to the smooth jazz sounds, to the incredibly delicious home-baked cake, there is hardly any reason to leave this shop.

Last night the four of us spent a great evening in the Favoritenplatz Café, together with Paul Erkamp, ​​who played music there. The hosts are very friendly, open people who have created a really nice, cozy feel-good place with the café. We felt very welcome. We enjoyed an aperó etagere with our drinks, everything was very fine. We can unanimously recommend the Favoritenplatz Café and will definitely come back! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Fine coffee with friendly service

Very hearty coffee with a delicious morning! Great atmosphere and friendly service. It also has cute decorations and children's toys to buy

The staff was super friendly, atmosphere was also wonderful with flower decoration and lighting. The coffee and cinnamon roll was not the best but good to enjoy with friends.

A place of relaxation and culinary delights that leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant is run by the owners, whose love of gastronomy is reflected in every dish and every reception. Two incredibly warm people with an outstanding concept. The dishes are always fresh, varied and a delight for the palate. There are regular innovations and interesting promotions, so you won't get bored here. The interior is like a picture book, a place where you immediately feel at home. Whether alone, with family or with friends, no one is left out here.

Yesterday at lunchtime I was greeted with a beaming smile from the owner at the Favorite Place Café in Winterthur. There are two dishes and a sandwich to choose from, either vegetarian or with meat. I order the mashed potatoes with baked vegetables with chicken and a sugar-free iced tea. It doesn't exist anywhere else. My main course was very nicely presented, tasted good, although a little under-seasoned and the vegetables were still nice and crunchy, just the way I like them. The chicken breast was a bit dry, chicken thighs would probably have been a better choice. All in all, I spent a lovely lunchtime here, in a pleasant atmosphere, with a totally cheerful hostess and a tasty meal. Thank you.

Very nicely decorated café with a small, fine selection of lunches and home-baked cakes. Today I had an excellent cous-cous (to my surprise it was warm) with salad. I would be happy to stop by again, then for coffee and cake😉

I always enjoy the delicious Caesar salad at the Favoritenplatz Café, especially in combination with the excellent coffee and delicious cakes. I also appreciate the friendly service from Evelyn and Jerome, who always make my stay a pleasant experience.

There were 6 of us for brunch and it was super delicious. We had pre-ordered and were looked after very nicely and had a sweet temporary waiter who served our coffee ☺️ We will definitely be back very soon to try the delicious cake. Thank you for the lovely morning with you.
