Wonderfully and elegantly furnished restaurant. We have been there several times and were warmly welcomed by the host couple and were served by the extremely friendly and professional service staff. The cuisine, as well as the ambience and the music, are simply excellent. Whether brunch, lunch or dinner or even an event. Rarely have I encountered such competent and great people. Thanks

My son had a soccer match in Wallisellen last week. We dropped our boys there an hour before the match started. I still remembered the “Beitzli” and wanted to have something to eat there… I was surprised when I went in. It was nicely decorated. The tables were all set...white fabric tablecloths, fabric napkins and everything that went with it. Really chic... and that's where the problem lies... "sitting comfortably" without ordering food wasn't possible. I ordered a coffee….requires cash only…really? It should be standard to pay as you want...whatever...they made me understand that I should drink my coffee and my colleague his iced tea outside at around 6 degrees. Now we asked ourselves what this restaurant has lost there. Lots of football fields and then the ice fields... So if I really want to go to a restaurant like this, then I'll go to Zurich or the village center, but certainly not to a football field... You want to watch a football or ice hockey match there or attend another sporting event... you can expect... to be catered for accordingly can... Somewhere near the ice rink they set up two folding tables and sold hot dogs and drinks... although there would be a location for a pub... I was so disappointed and still am... In my opinion, this restaurant is out of place there...

What was that? Never been served a scoop of ice cream so carelessly... Employees don't feel like working. That was the last time.

Big praise to the innkeepers for their great hospitality and to the entire service team for their friendliness. Here you can dine excellently in a beautifully decorated restaurant. I will gladly come again!

People started smoking inside after 22:00 and the waiters were handing out ashtrays. Why? There were still children in the restaurant. I noticed that dogs are even allowed. Why should someone take his or her dog to this place, when they start to smoke inside after 22:00? The food is overpriced for the location and the quality. In addition to that when we requested the bill, the waiter just brought us the bill (after 10 minutes) and then left. After 20 minutes I had to walk up to him to tell him that we would like to pay by card. There are also Brunch options for Sunday (see in the picture below), but unfortunately I can not tell you what will be served there, because on the flyer there is only the price listed.

Unfortunately I also have to give a bad review here. We made reservations to celebrate our grandmother's birthday. When we arrived it already seemed as if we had been forgotten. We didn't get the actual table in the back area that we had requested, instead we got one right in the middle, which was then quickly added to accommodate the number of people we had. So not the best impression. But then we continued straight away. We had 3 people with celiac disease in the group who were dependent on gluten-free food, so we asked in advance whether there were gluten-free options or whether dishes could be adapted. It was said that this would not be a problem as long as we let them know in advance what they would like to eat. Of course, all three of us were happy about that and they all ordered a Cordon Bleu in advance. When asked about it that evening, there was confusion again. The good gentleman didn't even know exactly what gluten-free meant and said no eggs and milk... It then turned out that something had been forgotten or misunderstood and there was now no Cordon Bleus gluten-free. As the evening progressed, the service took a lot of time and the food didn't come to everyone at the same time. When I got mine the first ones were almost finished. Then a children's menu was forgotten. There were also a few commotions from others at the table that I didn't really notice. All in all a really unpleasant experience. Caution to all those affected by celiac disease. But now to the positive things that turned 1 star into 2. The ambience is very nicely done and has a classy touch. Despite everything, the employees remain reasonably friendly. An attempt was made to offer a solution with a Cordon Bleu Picata breaded with egg instead of gluten-free breadcrumbs. The food was okay and the price was also reasonable. Probably the first and last time for me. Thank you anyway.

The food was very good, it would be TOP if vegetables were also offered as a side dish. Ambience also MEGA, we were there on a Saturday evening where a band with live music created the atmosphere. Unfortunately service failed several times. Long waiting times, 2 dishes were served incorrectly, the forks were not available on the table and were only delivered when requested. The salads were served 10 minutes after the main course. Please make sure you work on service. We hope that this will be significantly better on our next visit. You are definitely on the right track.

Food is good, prices and ambience are rather upscale, especially for a restaurant near a sports center. However, inexpensive snack and children's menu. Waiting times too long (30+ minutes over lunch), even with relatively few guests.

Service is a disaster The service is catastrophe. There were six older guests sitting at a table next to us. Don't know what the serving staff did, but they also whispered badly about the service. A table next door had to wait 30 minutes for the bill because he preferred chatting with his “colleagues” to serving. We received the wrong drink and he claimed we had ordered it. Zero service/no service! It's a shame...it doesn't work anymore. Atmosphere nice, but a bit strange that on January 22nd, 2024 everything is still full of Christmas decorations/lights?!?

Am amazed at the concept of this restaurant at this location. That doesn't fit the sports field and ice rink. Are families reluctant to be welcomed after ice skating? In any case, we felt out of place and left without being served.

Food, atmosphere, service - everything was great! We were a group of 7 people and had a very successful evening. We'd love to come back.

The food was of good quality and pleasantly surprised my taste buds. The dishes were carefully prepared and tasted good. However, it lacked a certain pep ;) Unfortunately, my experience was somewhat marred by the service. I found it disappointing that I was ignored when ordering drinks. In addition, the waitress was rude and unprofessional, using too casual a language. It's unfortunate that such behavior affected the overall experience even though the food was really good. I hope the restaurant can improve the behavior of its staff to provide guests with a pleasant atmosphere.

Ambience great, food nothing special but priced very high! Wine from Serbia for 90 francs. The waiter doesn't even refill it! Waiting time for food 1.5 hours Discussion with the waitress, because the food came before the starter, and didn't even apologize but blamed the guests for wanting it that way (the waitress wasn't even responsible for us), and a very cheeky manner! Managing director looked for an excuse when ordering and the cash register system🤔 accordingly no insight.... Music...never experienced such a bad band...terrible!!!!! The singer is totally drunk! Price for 6 people 730 Fr The only positive thing: nice furnishings and ambience The rest is very, very bad and definitely not recommended!

Last Saturday we had a great experience as a family with a toddler and baby. The service was courteous, friendly, relaxed and very professional! We were asked if we should bring the children's menu straight away. The food came very quickly so we were able to eat the starter & main course before the kids got tired. Very nice interior with lots of space, you don't have to listen to the people sitting next to you ;) The food was very tasty, especially the grilled meat and chimichurri sauce. Unfortunately, cordon bleu wasn't hot enough and didn't suit our taste. Tip to the cook: Do not send asparagus and shrimp cocktail cold in the refrigerator. Price-performance: more than fair! We will be new regulars ;-)

The Easter brunch was excellent. We were really overwhelmed. Friendly staff, good food and the price-performance ratio is simply great!!!

This restaurant is big and beautiful, located in the sports center and overlooks the ice-skating arena, hockey arena and the football field... It's a good place to sit back and enjoy, with plenty of parking space.

A restaurant like this doesn't fit into a sports field. A total misconception. It's a disgrace that something like this is financed with our tax money! The service is unprofessional, the prices are overpriced and e.g. For example, the beef fillet wasn't really tasty.

We had breakfast in the league, just great!! Quiet location, beautiful view, pleasant atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Breakfast consists of croissants, bread, toast, jam, butter, cold cuts, fried eggs, etc. Very fresh and delicious! We recommend!

A newly renovated, bright and beautifully decorated restaurant in the middle of a sports facility is called Liga. Competent, nice and attentive service. Very fine dishes with and without meat and a great selection of wines. You just have to experience it and enjoy it. We would love to come back and can highly recommend Liga.

The gratinated tartare is a dream! Very good quality meat, the rib eye was great! Great service and nice wine selection!

Great menu. We (group of 5 people with kids) ordered during peak times. Service recorded everything correctly, even in stressful situations, and our dishes came relatively quickly. Top quality, especially grilled food from the Josper Grill and Chnobli prawns. Excellent price/enjoyment ratio. Very good wine list! That's fun. We will be back.

The salad was good, but unfortunately I didn't like the beef fillet at all. It was very dry and didn't look particularly fresh. The taste was also unpleasant. There were also various side dishes to choose from on the menu. I chose vegetables. Unfortunately, there was almost none of it on my plate. about three slices of carrots and a few thin, oily eggplant wheels, as well as a single almost completely raw pod. About half an onion, also almost completely uncooked. 😕

Covid certificates are not checked. Lunch service was so slow that we had to leave because of appointments before we could get anything to eat.

Finally open & so far really nice food/restaurant. This is a new gem of Wallisellen. We have been waiting for the reconstruction of the place to finish anxiously hoping it will be a nice place. I think the crew came up with a simple balanced menu, that just tastes great!!! Simply delicious!! We tried Flamkuchen & a steak - it was awesome !!!! P.s. this place also offers the best views in Wallisellen (just wait for spring, autumn, winter for the heat to cool down & panoramic scenery of the mountains to open up). Let’s hope the place will keep up the great food & service for many years to come !

Liga is a great new restaurant in Wallisellen. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. I can highly recommend. The kids menu was also good value.

Great restaurant with delicious food and a varied selection despite the reduced Covid menu. Beautiful ambience, great service and fair prices. Simply great, we'll be back!
