I think the taste of the food is ok. I've had worse. I would find the price acceptable if the quality was top. Unfortunately, it takes forever to order. The employees don't seem to want to work. She saw me and still made me wait for 5 minutes. Then she packed my food. When I saw this I said she doesn't have to pack it, I'll eat locally. I thought the look I got was just cheeky. Usually you're asked and if not I think it's clear that I'll eat there. Very unfortunate.

The store is nice and the employees are extremely friendly, but the quality is not sufficient. Horrible concept of self-service and this absurd surcharge if you decide to eat/drink on site. Will never go there again and advise everyone not to.

The employees are all nice. The dark Hsus bread is awesome. The banana flavor is unique...😋 On Mother's Day there was a special torta, I enjoyed it with several work colleagues, everyone was thrilled... A lot of things still look delicious, but I'm typical of women...😅😉😊😁

Go regularly. Well located.On the way to work. Fast service. Small but nice. Staff always friendly. Wellness bread stays super fresh, but not for me for a week, I prefer to eat it the same day. ;) It's also delicious. Cheese and meat from the region. Better support small businesses.

Unfortunately, a huge step backwards since Limmatbeck took over. Breads are doughy and charred at the bottom. The selection is much smaller and not as tasty anymore. Only, the employees are still very friendly.

I hope the bakery will always be open so never s'business conclusions :).It would have a really nice staff but what I like the most is a blonde woman like that, I don't know what her name is but she would have a great time for me! Been a customer of Genter Beck for years. The sandwiches, corn croissants and salads as well as the patisserie were always so delicious and you had eaten enough afterwards - at a fair price. Since I moved away, I came back this week for the first time since they were taken over by Limmatbeck. To be honest, I'm shocked and a little sad. Selection of salt and sandwiches and the patisserie never comes close to Ghent quality. The portions are also very small and the price is horrendous. A salad with a few leaves of iceberg lettuce in it, with 5 chicken nuggets 8.20 CHF... a shame, a real shame. Also the peaks - half as big and no longer as fine as before. The only thing I can still praise is the staff. The same employees for years and always so warm and friendly. Such a shame...

Friendly staff Since the Genter bakery was taken over by Limmatbeck. Unfortunately, a step backwards. No longer a member of too good to go. It's a shame.

Very friendly and competent employees, you are greeted with a smile. Seasonally, the delicious strawberry tarts are a hit in our family. I particularly like the St. Galler and Wildbach bread. Always my pleasure!

Baker is ok in terms of price but only ok. Unfortunately everything was floury under the bread and the topping wasn't great either, very dry. That's why people probably prefer to eat bread rolls at Aldi TK. It's a shame we probably won't go there again.

This is my absolute favorite bakery. Delicious vegan spelled bread with pumpkin seeds, friendly, warm staff. As a customer, it pains me greatly to hear that a certain Mr. P.B. is the new owner. I wish the staff all the best for the future.

I didn't know the bakery, so I stopped briefly to get lunch. At 1 p.m. I no longer had the largest selection and unfortunately no whole grain sandwich. The extremely friendly lady (Margot) then recommended the spelled burger to me. Wooow….!!! One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Top! I would like to stop there again.

Tip top, everything is always fresh

Landed in this bakery by chance and it was a stroke of luck. The bread we bought was a sensation, not only because it weighed 2 kg, it was a real treat, a warm beef roll with a spicy sauce was a stunner, and the tart for dessert was simply brilliant. The display was so beautiful that I would have liked to have looked at it for an hour. A baker who puts his heart and soul into his craft. Very very highly recommended. It's a shame that the bakery isn't near me, but I'll happily take a detour next time. The service is also very friendly and organized BRAVO! !!
