Best Zürigschnetzlets I've ever tasted! Tender meat, perfectly crispy fried rösti, delicious mushroom cream sauce. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful! Very nice furnishings, decorations, dishes,... We recommend!

Fine food, very nice service staff. Four stars because the friendliness of the service staff does not make up for the unfortunately repeatedly unfriendly tone of others.

The food at LOKAL is generally always very good! The quality is consistently good. That's why we visit the restaurant again and again. The service is generally polite and nice. However, the waiting times at lunchtime are often far too long. A 45 minute wait is no longer acceptable. The apologies from the service staff are friendly, but unfortunately they don't do much if it happens again and again. Unfortunately, this is not a one-time occurrence. If we know that we have appointments at 1 p.m., we don't even go anymore. Hope things get better at some point.

It's a little far from Zurich city, but I think it's a restaurant that locals from the countryside come to. We had a daily lunch, and it was very delicious and cheaper than in the city. The service was also good.

Extremely fine food and friendly service. Unfortunately, there was a long wait (1 hour until the food arrived) despite only 8 guests in the store.

The four of us were in the "Lokal" in the evening, which was rightly recommended to us. Very lovingly decorated, homely atmosphere and comfortable seating. The food was great, everything was freshly cooked. The game without game was very tasty and inexpensive, the Wiener Schnitzel There was hardly any space on the plate, you can put your own salad together. Very attentive, friendly service. Everything was just right.

Und sehr gemütlich, schön eingerichtet. Es gibt auch Mittag- und Abendessen (nicht probiert... Werde ich aber noch :). Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Sehr gemütliches Lokal mit ausserordentlichen freundlicher Bedienung! Kleine Karte über Mittag mit jeweils einem Vegi- und einem Fleischmenü. Dazu noch den Wochenhit. Salatschüssel zum selber zusammenstellen ist auch sehr lecker. Unbedingt die hausgemachte Salatsauce wählen! Das Essen ist sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Besonders das Vegimenü ist mit viel Lieben und Kreativität gekocht. Komme immer wieder gerne!

Only visited the LOKAL for afternoon coffee, but definitely worth repeating. Staff was friendly and extremely attentive. I liked the furnishings and ambience. Next time the chef or his cooking skills have to be tested. 😊

Tolle Gastgeberin, die mit Herzblut dahinter steht und die Bedürfnisse der heutigen Gäste bestens versteht. Das Ambiente ist einzigartig sensationell. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir besuchen das Restaurant Lokal regelmässig und freuen uns immer wieder über die sehr leckeren sowie frisch zubereiteten Menüs! Anita und das gesamte Lokal Team gibt sich viel Mühe und lebt die Gastronomie. Die Küche ist gutbürgerlich, sehr abwechslungsreich und speditiv. In diesem Restaurant stimmt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis und man bekommt immer grosse Portionen :) Wir können das Restaurant Lokal uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen... Ein Geheimtipp im Embrachertal.

Very good food in a pleasant venue!

Ich war über Mittag das erste Mal im Lokal.Dass nur die Mittagskarte mit ausgewählten Menüs (das Wochenmenü, das Tagesmenü mit Fleisch und ein Vegimenü) auf dem Tisch lag, empfand ich als sehr sympathisch. Ich suchte nicht die grosse Auswahl, sondern etwas, das für heute aktuell ist.Bei den angenehmen Tischabständen fühlte ich mich zwar in einem Lokal und doch nicht so nahe beim Nachbarn, dass man das Gefühl hat der von nebenan esse gleich mit oder höre jedes Wort. Durch die grossen Fenster wirkt das Lokal sehr hell.Das Essen war einfach rundum gut. Auf dem Teller braucht es keine grosse Deko, denn es wird schlicht und doch bewusst angerichtete. Das Servierteam war auch unter Stress (wegen dem vollen Restaurant) stets freundlich und versucht auch für Extrawünsche passende Lösungen zu finden. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die hausgemachte Salatsauce, aber auch der Kaffee.

Sehr gemütliches & stilvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant. Wir waren bereits mehrmals zu Gast im Lokal. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr lecker. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Gerne immer wieder!

We visit the Lokal restaurant regularly and are always happy about the delicious and freshly prepared menus! Anita and the entire local team put a lot of effort into gastronomy. The cuisine is home-style, very varied and quick. In this restaurant the price-performance ratio is right and you always get large portions :) We can fully recommend the restaurant... Die Mittagskarte mit jeweils 2 Menus, eines davon vegetarisch, ist sehr gut gekocht. Das Essen wird einladend auf dem Teller präsentiert.Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich.Die Preise sind fair.Für den Lunch lohnt sich der Weg ins Lokal. Die Abendkarte habe ich nicht ausprobiert. Sieht aber auch sehr ausgewogen aus.

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service. The boss is lively and quick and looks after the well-being of her guests. Crepes were very tasty and served quickly. The winter garden is also very cozy thanks to selected and thrown together furniture. I still know it from the past, when it was known as 'Treff' because of the large selection of fine crepes.

Food is good, but CHF 18.00 is too expensive for lunch. Wanted hot meatloaf with potato salad; Answer from boss today you have hot ham with potato salad. You can't change the menu every day. Prices for wines too expensive.
