Locanda Tre Fratelli in Bern

We were there for a working lunch. Larger group, reserved weeks in advance. Although a few didn't come, there weren't enough places covered, so we had to organize the rest ourselves. The menu selection was also informed very early on. Some got salads when others were already finished. Drinks were also distributed at random. Bread was only served after repeated requests. Possibly better experience if you go with just two people or in a very small group. The acoustics were extremely bad, you almost had to scream at yourself

Overall the experience was good. However this is too expensive for what it is worth (4.70- for a coffee and 8.- for tap water for real) Moreover, the waitress was really nice but we had to wait 30 minutes to order the coffee and another 20 minutes to pay.

Starter with meat, no vegetarian/vegan alternative. After that we weren't served for a long time and then we were given the WRONG food. It is also very loud. No apology! A pity

Tre Fratelli Restaurant: a five-star culinary experience I had the pleasure of dining at the Tre Fratelli Restaurant, located in the city of Bern, Switzerland. I have been a guest at Tre Fratelli since the 80s and go there about twice a week, whether for business or pleasure. I am always greeted and said goodbye very cheerfully and courteously. Good day. I didn't like the food in this restaurant. The waiter takes a very long time to bring food, there are not enough cooks, most likely this problem will be solved. It's quick to prepare, but not tasty.

Dear users of this internet portal. It is with regret that my colleagues and I have to inform you that after an honest negative review of the restaurant “Tre Fratelli” in Bern a month ago, we have now been under pressure and intimidated by the management of this restaurant for 4 days. The restaurant management apparently can't handle criticism. We all live in a world where democracy and freedom of expression prevail. According to the facts, my colleagues and I simply rated our visit to the above-mentioned restaurant poorly because that was how we experienced it. The restaurant management searched the Internet for our phone numbers, called a few people from our group whose review received positive comments from other users and said in a certain tone that we need to remove our review from Google. We didn't do that. A week later the calls and messages repeated. In January, Sandra Pedrazzoli from restaurant management posted the same answer under each of our reviews, saying that we were "ex-work colleagues" and "she doesn't want to go into more detail" in order not to expose us and "former work colleagues". It is shocking to learn that a seemingly decent company would publish fabricated claims based on no facts (as quoted above in parentheses). We know full well that publishing a negative review about a negative experience is in no way illegal. Publishing untested allegations with an allusion to a questionable profession is defamation. Insult, slander and slander are a criminal offense in Switzerland according to Article 187 of the Swiss Penal Code. Depending on the offense, these crimes are punished with a fine or imprisonment for up to 2 years. My colleagues and I are very peaceful people. We try to avoid reporting for as long as possible. If the attacks on us online do not stop, we will turn primarily to K-Tipp. If this doesn't help either, we will be forced to consider the possibility of reporting. Had dinner there with a group last night. The food was pre-ordered and I didn't know what was on my plate. It was only when I asked that I found out it was Goose. It was not good. Endless waiting times, especially for my first drink and first meal. The waiter said he always had to be joking, he should have noticed that I didn't feel like it. It seemed to me that there weren't enough staff for the number of guests in the restaurant. The hall had poor acoustics, thanks to a large wall of windows and bare walls. In winter, curtains could be hung there to improve the acoustics in the hall.

On December 15th, the waiter (Service 07) in this restaurant was dissatisfied that we had not ordered any wine or an aperitif. He remarked loudly that moving tables for us and arranging wine glasses was a waste of time. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant!

I haven't had such a bad experience in a very long time. It started with criticism that not everyone in a very large group showed up. It is normal if 3 out of 11 people have to cancel at short notice, e.g. due to illness. However, there is certainly no reason for customers to be looked at askance because of this. It continued with us getting unpleasant looks and comments because we didn't want to order wine, a starter or an aperitif. This was even commented on loudly. You couldn't enjoy the food in this negative atmosphere. Last but not least, the bill was brought very slowly, even though we had informed us that we had to move on. I had the impression that there weren't enough staff on site. In any case, the customer is king didn't count for us.

I didn't like the service. The waiter was rude, did not come near our table, did not notice the request to come.

Unsurpassable. Definitely worth trying and trying again a thousand times! Antonio number one for friendliness and experience. An owner who welcomes you with typical Neapolitan warmth has no equal. 5 star review for me.

Got a table spontaneously on a Wednesday at 11:50. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. At lunchtime, however, the pizzeria seems to be doing very well, sometimes very busy, which has a noticeable effect on the ambience. Price rather more expensive than other pizzerias nearby.

We were there over lunch. Fight for a place despite not having a reservation. The food was fantastic and even though the restaurant was full we didn't have to wait long. All around a great experience.

When you enter this place, the first thing that strikes you is the rustic and welcoming environment. Very good Italian cuisine, especially fresh pasta. The staff very friendly and smiling. Even if there is no kinder card, they will always accommodate requests for children with a smile.

We went to Tre Fratelli for the first time today and we loved it. Both the food and the service were 5 stars. The wooden decoration and lots of family portraits... I really liked it and I will definitely be back.

Very nice restaurant and delicious food. All penne and spaghetti are also available gluten-free.

The Italian food is very good here. The pasta is freshly prepared and homemade. Unfortunately, last time I didn't have room for a dessert, such as a classic tiramisu. You will be served quickly, friendly and professionally. The restaurant is usually busy, but you can often get a seat even if you drop by spontaneously without a reservation. The Parking City West offers plenty of parking spaces if you are traveling by car.

Nice restaurant in the middle of Bern great service friendly staff gladly again

Our table ate three very good pizzas and a wonderful tartare. The portion was generous and compared to other places there were at least six slices of toast. The terrace behind the building is beautifully done and quiet. Especially considering that the restaurant is located in the middle of the city. What was particularly positive was the fact that when we left the restaurant we were greeted personally with a handshake and a thank you.

Best restaurant I have been to in Bern. We just walked in without a reservation, got a table even though the restaurant was somewhat full. The staff are attentive and the food is just amazing and the prices are not high when compared to other restaurants in Bern even when considering the wine bottle prices. Kudos to this restaurant and the staff!

Spaghetti Porto Ferraio (pictured) was delicious, they didn't skimp on prawns like in other places. The price of 27.50 francs is okay for Bernese standards. I also had a 3dl Sprite, probably from a soft drink dispenser. You are invited to an elegant ambience, but that is a matter of taste. The terrace isn't necessarily elegantly designed, I've seen better. As far as I can remember, it's not exactly wheelchair friendly. I can't do without a second visit, but the experience was worth it.

There isn't much to complain about. The food is good, but not very good. Risotto was extremely salty. Focaccia on the dry side with a supposedly spicy sauce that doesn't qualify as spicy even in Italy. Service ok, a bit hectic as there are few staff, comfortable is different. Prices still in the ok range. All in all, definitely recommended, but not really above average

Seeing this restaurant from the outside it seems nice and welcoming... Instead I have to say that the food is decent, there is much better in Bern. Little care, poor wines, tiramisu only whipped cream and medium/low products.

Unfortunately we were turned away very rudely and arrogantly, even though according to official information the restaurant is open until 11:30 p.m. Incomprehensible to us, unacceptable and economically unsustainable! No wonder that the catering industry is suffering because of such unmotivated employees. We will no longer consider such restaurants!

Very friendly and authentic restaurant in the city of Bern. I appreciate the daily menus and its Italian cuisine in general. Pleasant welcome. Be careful there can be a lot of people at lunchtime during the week so a small reservation is required.

Good and balanced lunch offer. The daily recommendation was a little more expensive, tasted great but unfortunately very little. At the end there was a small tiramisu.
