First impression of the restaurant was a bit off regarding the manager’s attitude (I believe there were more than one and they were always sticking to each other chit chatting) they seemed to be distracted and only paying attention to big group of customers. As we were just two, we were being asked for what to drink, when drink menu was never given. Asian waiter and waitress attitude were very friendly and their service was professional. Lights were a bit off as we were sitting by the corner. Was hoping we can sit side by side so we can look at the window together. Food was good and definitely will come back for a few dishes. Shanghai menu were 80%hong kong style, almost nothing was Shanghai. But the food was impressive. And if you are small eater, one menu would definitely stuff you up until the next day! But would like to advice the set menu, the dish choices of three different regions of China. Look up what are the authentic dishes of Shanghai, peking, and sichun. You might find Lou’s set menu are funny. I believe to have sustainable business, minimum 2 order per set menu might not been considerate enough. If customers has more flexibility to choose more than one set, it gives the chance to the customers to try different dishes which increase the chances of their returns next time. Not to mention that allergies might effect their choices or may not be able to compromise on the same menu. And please put up more details on menu just to make sure customers acknowledge the ingredients, potential allergies or lactose. The night ended up with a delicious Amber walnut. It was our anniversary. Beautiful night and thank you.

We had a wonderful dinner. We came in late and didn’t realize as we had spent the whole day at Bains Des Pâquis and ordered the Peking Menu. They didn’t ask us to change our oder even though it was late and we would have been happy to accommodate them as everyone there worked incredibly hard to give us excellent service. It was an excellent capstone on our vacation Geneva and the service was excellent. The servers were humorous and did everything to make us feel at home and taken care of. Every person on the staff was wonderful and were happy to give this place the highest regards. It’s pricey but they make it worth it if you want to do something special or are just so rich that it doesn’t matter to you. The food was amazing and we were so full at the end that we couldn’t finish the the beef but they boxed it for us and we had some tea as they closed up the restaurant. We loved every part of it. My husbands favorite was peking duck in the crepe and my favorite was the prawn. Theres an incredible attention to detail here and a passion for each customers experience. The staff works hard to make sure that you feel as though you are taken care of and I really can’t speak highly enough about them. Thank you for dinner. We’ll be back again and hopefully earlier next time.
