We came for Sunday brunch, it was a great experience, a beautiful buffet with lots of specialties that I discovered that day, it was very good and some dishes were excellent! We had a great time and we will be happy to come back.

I came with a friend. We took the chucharrons, which consisted almost entirely of bones, and after waiting 45 minutes and asking 4 waiters to pay, we were able to leave... not great :(

Overall experience: I enjoyed this moment in this very beautiful setting with murals by the artist Albin Christen. And what's more, I greatly appreciate their approach to professional reintegration for anyone with a disability or other difficulty. Culinary experience side: It was the first time I tasted brunch at Lucha Libre (at the one in Lausanne). The food is not bad for the arepas, the pico des gallo sauce is very good. I asked for a fruit batido (which according to the menu is only available on weekends) to accompany this brunch with very Colombian/Venezuelan flavors or a Nicaraguan-style chorreado coffee but the waiter told me he was new and didn't really know not what it was about and above all that they couldn't do it. Dessert : For dessert, however, I enjoyed the tres leches! Just yum really well done you do it very well. Point to improve: I'm a little disappointed with the way the hot mate that one of my friends was served 😅🤣 I'm from Argentina and I must admit that it made me laugh. I know that you are a restaurant that introduces South American flavors in a general way without being experts, but I advise you to only serve things that you ideally master. The mate was drowned in a flood of lukewarm water. Whereas it is with a thermos of extremely boiling water with actually the bombilla (the straw, the container) and the grass must be dry on the surface and a hollow where the water is gently poured gradually as the day is drunk. So absolutely incompatible in a restaurant... in the sense that to live an authentic experience you might as well buy it yourself haha My advice-->Instead I advise you to put the herb in tea bags and serve hot like tea steeped in hot water. And add it to your tea selection. So. I am in no way sorry about this experience and I will come back for a drink and or eat a tres leches again whether in Lausanne or Geneva.

Great atmosphere (music, decor...) in this restaurant which immerses us in Latin America. On the other hand, a little disappointed by certain dishes, notably the tiradito di pescado. The fish tasted too strong for me and had a watery consistency, as if it had been thawed. I didn't see any diced mango and the sauces were bland and didn't add anything special to the dish. Also, the dish cost 1.- more than what is listed on the menu on your site, there are small price differences on several dishes! On the other hand, the rump steak with teriyaki sauce was excellent.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lausanne. Very good food and faithful to South American cuisine. Friendly and efficient service. There is sometimes a little too much noise because there are a lot of people, but we enjoyed the brunch in a calmer, more family-friendly atmosphere and had a lot of fun. We will return there in all contexts for sure.

Very good food, good atmosphere and very nice waiter who didn't rush us and let us stay until closing. Allergens clearly marked so it’s a plus for people with food allergies like me.

The decoration, music and atmosphere of this restaurant will undoubtedly take you to other latitudes. The food menu is simple, but effective and brings together the best in South American cuisine. Among the dishes to share, the chicharrones are a real delight and the croquetas de pollo as well as the tostones will probably make me come back more than once. I didn't have a starter, however, the carne a la plancha and its chimichurri sauce kept their promises. The tres leches for dessert was good, nothing more, but will certainly satisfy the appetite of even the most gourmands. We will come back with pleasure. The only small downside is that the tables and high chairs are not particularly comfortable. I recommend that you specify when booking that you want a “normal” table.

I am a cook and pastry chef and Swiss and we were there to eat during the Mexican national holiday. Food not good, beans were canned, not authentic cuisine. I even refused to pay for this dish, I told the manager, I thought he was going to make a commercial gesture to us but no. I advise against.

Great restaurant with a festive atmosphere, lovely staff and delicious cocktails. I was there for my brother's birthday and the waiters and waitresses took great care of us. They even offered us a little shot at the end of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very happy with my coming to Lucha libre for the 2nd time.

My boyfriend and I had several dishes to share but apart from the sweet potato fries and the guacamole, nothing was good. Everything else was surprisingly bland even though Latin American cuisine is generally tasty. We came at 9 p.m. and finished at 10 p.m.; we were hungry and apart from offering us a dessert or free cocktails (even though we couldn't eat anything before) they couldn't find a solution. It was even us who had to ask the manager for a commercial gesture. Race results: wander around Lausanne to find something open after 10 p.m., since no solution was found. We were very disappointed and had empty stomachs; we pointed out to the manager that at this hour we don't know where to eat, but despite that, he was unable to offer anything apart from cocktails or desserts. I don't recommend.

Not so busy on the evening we dined there. Had a great waiter who was fast and attentive. Warm and welcoming. EXCELLENT. We shared the main dishes, they were ok overall but nothing standout /memorable. The octopus with pumpkin "Olivia" was missing some texture /crunch. Maybe grill or char the pumpkin beforehand? "Tres Leches" dessert, however was yum and rounded out our evening well. Similarly, the cocktails were standouts. We had the cocktail of the week and a Mexican Mule. Despite the name of the drink, this is a Latin inspired restaurant - no mega plates of nachos, much to our relief. We enjoyed our date, just not a complete "wow" flavor-packed occasion.

I highly recommend this address!!!! A great atmosphere and a decoration that takes us on a journey. Generous and gourmet cuisine to share as well as a very warm welcome. You can go there with your eyes closed.

The food is terrible and NOT Latin American. Latinos, don't be fooled and don't go. I ordered fried yuquitas and they served them with Spanish aioli sauce 😖, I ordered a PURPLE chicha and it was white. And I'm not exaggerating! I even thought they had brought me the wrong drink. And my friend ordered some quesadillas and they made them with raclette cheese! A total fiasco. Disappointment! Change the name of the restaurant and say that they sell anything but Latin American food. And as for the staff: it would be better to find people who speak Spanish, don't you think? At least this way they would help make the place something special. The only positive thing: the decoration.

The service is deplorable, and I realized that they discriminate against customers. If you really want to taste Latino don't go to this place.

The customer service is very bad, and I have been there a couple of times and on all occasions they have treated us badly, especially a Spanish waiter (I don't know his name but he is about 30 and has no hair). That waiter is not professional at all, once there was no more space, instead of saying it politely, he got angry because we came in to see and he made us very rude. Since there we have never returned, I get the impression that they only treat Europeans well (although it is supposed to be a Latin restaurant). In terms of food, it's not a big deal, the truth is the food is not good enough to withstand the bad treatment. I hope they teach the waiters to be respectful and treat everyone equally.

Good surprise: continuous service from 11:00 a.m. to midnight so we were able to eat around 2:00 p.m.! Colorful, warm atmosphere, like Latin America, and the service is impeccable 👌 large terrace available! The dishes are fresh, delicious and generous! Original and healthy cuisine with vegan options 🌱 The cocktails 🍹 are fabulous and there is something for everyone. We loved it and we will come back 🥳

While passing through Lausanne, I ended up at Lucha Libre almost by chance! The place is very well decorated, welcoming and very friendly. The service is well done in a good mood and the whole team is very friendly! The cocktails are beautifully prepared and very good. THANK YOU ! Such a beautiful colourful restaurant, the plates were delicious. We tried, Papa a la Huancaina, Corviche, patate douce frittes, riz avec legumes- Chaulafan mixto. Don’t miss it if you are near the area.

The setting: very nice bar-restaurant, very colorful and warm like Latin America. In summer, a large terrace with wooden tables and chairs covered with large parasols. Small downside: the chairs are not super comfortable ☆ 5/5 The service: very friendly, but you shouldn't be in a hurry especially when there are a lot of people ☆ 5/5 The presentation: wow! Colorful, the eyes are amazed ☆ 5/5 Tasting: a great discovery! The starters are well served so choose either picaditas (tapas) or entradas, but not both, otherwise the main course (platos fuertes) will be difficult to finish. Be careful of chili in certain dishes. Vegetarian and vegan enjoy! ☆ 5/5 The wallet: $$ absolutely correct for the quality and quantity served ☆5/5 My favorite ❤️: the mango cheesecake of the moment…. a massacre ! My rant: the closed toilets accessible by passing in front of the urinals. So if a gentleman squats at a urinal, forced to wait before opening the door at the risk of finding himself face to face….

I apologize in advance for the novel that follows, I wanted to detail as much as possible my experience with Lucha Libre de Lausanne. I had the opportunity to eat there three times, each time with different people. The very first time, it went rather well, my friend and I had 2 starters to share + a main course each, except that the waiter who took care of us was a little too present, either by reacting to things we said while he walked by, or by asking us if everything was okay, if we didn't need anything else a good dozen times in two hours (perhaps because that we were two women), but otherwise, in terms of food everything was perfect, I even talked about it to those around me, motivated to go back. Unfortunately, some time passed, and the second time, having spoken about what I had had to the friends with whom I went back, they wanted to have a shared starter of chicken frijoles nachos which was just killer (and which I had with my friend the first time) before everyone's main course. Unfortunately, when consulting the map, we noticed that this entry was no longer offered. So we took the starter where there is a little bit of everything to have enough, so that everyone can taste. Something I didn't specify, the nacho starter I was talking about was served in very large quantities (really very large!), so much so that when my friend and I had it the first time, the waiter had us asked if we were sure we wanted to have a dish after that, warning us about the quantity. Keep this detail in mind for the rest. Finally, the third time, seeing that the nacho starter had not returned to the menu (we had imagined that the menu had perhaps been reduced between seasons), we asked the waiter who was in charge. from us if this disappearance was permanent (because yes, I had never eaten this anywhere else, and the idea of ​​no longer being able to eat it anywhere saddened me, especially since I had made an advertisement for it hell around me just for this entry). And there, with a lot of annoyance, the waiter explained to us that this question came up frequently (which proves that this dish was popular, right?), and that the reason why they decided to remove this entry of the menu is that many groups of people came to have a drink and only took this starter as a "meal", which means that they only spent a pittance on food (since they shared the price of this big starter ) and that they took up space without it being profitable. The rest of the evening, the waiter was particularly cold towards us, with a good touch of disdain, as if we had asked the angry question (and it was well directed towards our table, since he was not not at all the same with the others). So basically, rather than questioning the size of the entry and making it smaller to prevent what he talked about from happening again, the team preferred to remove it. I then wonder about your concept: Latin American cuisine is a warm cuisine, to be shared, but you decide to remove a starter just because you don't want it to be shared? Why did you make it so huge in the first place then? And don't all the remaining tapas-type starters also have the same potential of being taken only once for a whole group? And even for these groups, you can't force them to spend more than they want to, because by the way your meals are not cheap, so it's understandable that young people or students are perhaps more reluctant to take dishes, this must be taken into account, especially since the atmosphere of your bar is perfect for attracting young people.

The atmosphere is very friendly. One of the legendary bars of Lausanne, however, in terms of cuisine, you have to review the dishes offered. Very high prices.

Deplorable service, bordering on arrogant, successful order taking after multiple calls (there were 4 of us at the table), there was no clearing of the table even 1 hour after the end of the meal, (I cleared it myself ), no suggestion of a dessert menu, result: no dessert, no coffee. I am Swiss but I lived in Latin America for a long time. The menu made me really want to try everything so I ordered several dishes. Well, each one was a big disappointment. The dishes they served me had nothing to do with what they should be, the food had no flavor, the sauces were not good at all, the fish was very hard, I couldn't finish my dishes even if I tried hard. The place is very nice and the portions are large. But there is nothing less Latin than this place and the service is unpleasant. I do not recommend the place either for food or cocktails. If you want to enjoy the place to upload photos to Instagram, a beer will be enough and if you really want to eat there, I recommend ordering the ceviche which was the least bad.

I had read the comments before coming and someone was complaining about the noise from the sound system… so I specified in my reservation that I did not want to be near the source… our table la112 was exactly where we did not want not be... impossible to discuss as the music and the sound level of other conversations were so loud. Super place near heart of Lausanne. Easy to find and access by metro. Super easy to book a table. Food and drinks were tasty. Salsa music in the background created great atmosphere. The waiters were attentive and some of them spoke english. We will definitely come back.
