José Antonio served us. A charming boy who spoke Spanish, English and French. He gave us recommendations about what to eat and about the city. The food was very good and at a good price for Switzerland. Attention and treatment from him of 10.

Honestly the worse “quick service” experience. Just ordered and ate from there. I arrived, there was 1 order before me, took them 20 minutes to make quesadillas! When it comes to 6 chf “cochinita pibil” quesadillas, i expect meat in it. The “cochinita pibil” quesadilla had absolutely no meat! Not only do i wait 20 minutes but i ate cheese quesadillas. Btw, I saw the lady make it and i saw the order after me, clearly there is no guideline : i got literally a cheese quesadilla. Also, i could see the amount of meat that the other staff put in the next “quesadillas” order and there are no guidelines, depending on “who” makes your quesadilla, the employee decides how much meat to put in. I truly believe in guidelines in such restaurant otherwise same staff making the food. In summary, 1 star for a 20 min, 21 Chf cheese quesadilla menu. If i didn’t have to leave for my appointment i would have stayed, asked for it to be redone but after 20 minutes waiting i was already late! I am not coming back. First and last experience. PS: a smile wouldn’t hurt!

Very good restaurant, with products that seem fresh and of quality. Small downside, the room is very small. This does not take away from the authenticity of the cuisine.

Well-known restaurant in Lausanne, but I don't understand why... we had to wait a very long time for some tacos, which were almost cold. Those with peppers were OK, for those with beef, the meat was cold. The staff was indifferent.

I have to say, ordering from this place was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. I took one look at the food and couldn't resist blurting out, "this food looks super mid," and let me tell you, the ladies I was dining with didn't even flinch. That's how unimpressive it was. The cheese quesadillas were like a cruel joke – they were so stuffed with cheese that it felt like they were playing a prank on me. And don't even get me started on the guacamole for the nachos; it was so bad, I'm convinced they must've used avocados from another dimension. But here's the kicker: it wasn't just a disappointing meal; it was a full-blown gastrointestinal disaster. I spent the entire Sunday on a rollercoaster ride between my bed and the toilet. I was sweating bullets, praying for relief, and I won't go into the graphic details of my bathroom ordeal, but let's just say it was a day I'd rather forget. And let me tell you, the ladies had their own special night of misery. It was like a symphony of stomach troubles, and we were all playing our part. So, unless you have a strange desire for explosive diarrhea and want to feel like absolute garbage, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I'd say avoid it like the plague. Jesus Christ, what a disaster!

A great place if you want to grab Mexican delicious food to eat with your friends and family. I loved those tacos joint in Central Lausanne! The food was amazing, and the staff was super friendly, especially Byron. He was so nice and served us quickly. We'll definitely be back to eat here again!

Good food, tasted good and filled me up. Nothing outstanding but still very good. Tad expensive, but same as most things in switzerland. About 12 or 13 francs for a burrito.

A perfect culinary experience combined with a very warm welcome. Being a South American myself, I randomly stopped in front of this little fast food restaurant and was able to taste a spicy marinated chicken burrito. The team prepares the burrito directly on site with only fresh food and original recipes from Latin America. I was expecting a fairly basic dish but surprisingly I was able to enjoy a good dish with Latin flavors. Plus the quantity is perfect, neither too much nor too little. I leave there more than satisfied with my culinary experience. I was also able to chat with the cook and you can feel the passion for cooking when he talks about recipes and knowledge. Making a detour to this little fast food is clearly worth it. Both in terms of price and in terms of quality.

Tried out Mexicana for the first time today. Delicious burrito!! I had the porc mariné...comes with all the fixings. I ordered just the burrito, and the owner offered me the homemade lime lemonade on the house. Friendly, quick service...authentic music, a lovely little place!

Pure mexican taste in this place. I loved the tacos, they are very traditional, great tortillas and meat preparation 👌 (carnitas were great). I was afraid of getting small tacos, but I got the package of 4 tacos (normal size tortilla) with nachos and drink, and it was more than enough. The two people in the service were extremely nice and were mexican, that says a lot about the place. Definitely mexican traditional. Long time that I did not have such a great tacos.

Very good place to eat burritos, my favorite is the one with marinated pork (cochinita pibil) it's the best of all. I enjoy it every time and what's more, the staff is super friendly.

A little disappointed! The tacos and quesadillas are very small, tiny, very little filling! We were still hungry! For the price we paid, it’s a steal! The music was much too loud and the more we progressed into the evening, the longer it took them to make us leave! It worked and we won't come back!

Without writing too much, most importantly, what is this 'guacomole'???? I asked for extra guac and got, what appears to be sour cream withsome kind of powder inside? Definitely NOT real avocado, and very, very bad taste. Burritos were ok, but this guac just turned my stomach. Especially paying +++20/burrito

In my opinion, one of the best Burritos in the region. They are well stocked, the products are fresh and the prices are more than fair. I highly recommend it!

The place is central: it should be noted that parking in those places is expensive. A smoke or odor outlet is advisable because my clothes smell like cumin. We were eating and the staff started cleaning the iron with degreasing liquid, and indeed the smell is never to return. I recommend installing a cheap automatic locking system at the entrance door, because those who enter and leave do not know that they have to close the door themselves. Then it gets cold inside, and you have to get up to close it.

Intrigued by the storefront, I went to the Mexicana on central street. The food was excellent, the service professional and warm (special thought goes to Gabrielle who gave good advice!), everything was perfect. The prices are high, but we feel that the products are fresh which can justify them. Great experience, knowing that as a vegetarian, I had a wide choice of products! I recommend.
