Ordered beef and rice which was listed as gluten free and cost 25chf. Im grateful for the call 1.5h after making the order to inform me the marinade is made with soy sauce and flour since that couldve have ruined my week. I took you up on your offer of fried rice with no beef in exchange for 5chf price reduction. So for 20chf i received boiled rice with oil and a single UNCOOKED, chopped carrot. Picture attached, my 20chf meal upon arrival. You guys are essentially robbing people blind at this stage. I have seen many of your review responses touting your "Authentic Chinese Cuisine™" and "Fresh Local Produce". This is disgraceful. The fact that you're located at the centre of Zürich, boast exorbitant prices and have a beautifully decorated establishment is beyond absurd. I strongly recommend you try even just a little harder. Perhaps look up the term self-respect. A shame to China, Zürich and humanity as a whole. If youre still open to having reviewers over to see your handmade dumpling making process (as you offered reviewer Benjamin) I would like to volunteer myself full time just so you stop doing this to people.

The service is good but the food was not good. Overcooked and so salty that it was not eatable.

Very disappointing!.. On Google maps it shows that restaurant works on Sunday, from 6pm... we went there at 7.30pm and restaurant was not open plus it is not even that restaurant- the name was Happy Noodle or similar.. it definitely has wrong address!!!

Many people like the dumplings and the duck and Szechuan pepper soup is really good. We will return!

Dumplings are really good but very expensive. Even for Zurich, 15 CHF for 5 pieces is too much money. The service is friendly but unfortunately slow. We waited 15-20 minutes just for the drinks (water and tea). I wouldn't recommend the hot pot with beef at all. The spices were so intense that you couldn't enjoy it. After the 3rd spoonful you only feel anise and nothing more. I couldn't even eat half of it.

We were there last night for the first time - and definitely not the last. The noodle soup was delicious and the place was nicely decorated and quiet.

We had the best dumplings in quite a long time! Fresh product, great taste and really juicy homemade dumplings! I would definitely recommend it to any dumpling lover! Great and heart warming service! It just takes a bit of patience to taste a homemade dumpling, totally recommended!

owners or the cook must have changed. this used to be such a good spot. me and my party were super disappointed; food was subpar, menue full of typos and the service was lackluster and unatentive. several menue items were unavailable, entrees were forgotten, meat was ok at best. not going to come here again I am afraid.

Very friendly service. Unfortunately, she was responsible for 30 guests alone. All the more astonishing that both service and kitchen were managed by just one person. She always remained very friendly. It took a while for the food to arrive. This was very tasty. Prices are a bit high (3.00 per dumpling). Probably made it myself.

Favorite place for dumplings! You have to try the Vegan and Tofu dumplings + the wok noodles! And the team is super friendly!

Tried two different dumplings menus over lunch, pork and beef. Both were very tasty. The long cooked beef and chicken with sweet and sour sauce were ok, while the soup was surprisingly good.

It wasn't crowded, nice and quiet and cozy. Service was very nice, location was good and interesting, food was very tasty, homemade and authentic, and the price was right. It was a perfect last dinner of our vacation. Clear 5 stars.

The restaurant is now in a new location. It is stylishly furnished and larger than the old place. Nevertheless, a reservation is recommended. The dumplings were very tasty. The only deduction I give is the tofu and vegetable dish. That was a bit bland and boring.

Atmosphere is great super cozy upstairs area and nice ambience for a date. Food: Good selection on offer but the food was pretty oily, ordered the soup and it was a little hotter than room temperature. The homemade noodles were good but general dish would’ve been better if it was hot. Would recommend the tofu dumplings of everything we had though. Awesome staff, super attentive and although it was our first time there instantly upon arriving they made us feel like frequent customers. With that being said food took longer than expected. Idea to the property: there is an empty cabinet in the top left corner of the restaurant, if you removed that cabinet you would give more spacing between the tables which would only improve the atmosphere as you would have a more private dinning experience.

Ambience: Friendly, and spacious. There's two floors, second floor is cosier and less bright. Food: Tried the vegetarian options, the tofu dumplings were really tasty. Also had the home made noodle soup which was good. Food was good, but not outstanding - giving 4 stars instead of 3 because the service was so good (see below). Service: The staff was awesome. From the moment we walked in till we left again they made us feel welcome and were very friendly, making easy conversation. Great for: Shared dishes type of dinner, group of people (downstairs) and more intimate date style upstairs.

Relaxed atmosphere, quite a variety of dumplings and other menu items to choose from. Nothing too special but a good meal.

For starters we had a mixed dumpling platter, each one was very tasty, and my duck in the main course also tasted really great. Our waitress was still brand new and didn't understand everything 100%, but that wasn't a bad thing at all because she was very kind and another waitress was always there quickly. Overall, a very great experience with the service and the culinary experience as well, again at any time!!!

Dumplings are great, fair wine prices and well located. Service is primarily in English but super super friendly. The main courses are Chinese, not 100 percent ours, but good. Will definitely come back but will be even more hungry for dumplings

A cozy restaurant with a pleasant selection of dishes. We were here with a group of eight people on a Friday evening. The food was ok and the staff was very friendly, but they sometimes had difficulty taking the order (both in German and English). Unfortunately it took a relatively long time until the food was served, even though the restaurant was only about half full. Unfortunately, most wooden chairs are not upholstered and quickly become uncomfortable.

Super laid back mood with very friendly staff. A few good beers to choose from and great dumplings. But don't miss the Spicy spareribs. They will make you hallucinate.

Dumplings and portions are good. The rating is mainly based on the service. We were a table of 8 and had to wait for the food a long time and when ordered water for the table had to wait for it for a good 30 min because they needed to „wash the glasses“. Whilst the staff was super friendly and apologetic, it was not the service I’d expect for the pricepoint. We probably would have drunk and ate more as a group if the service was more speedy.

I really enjoyed my dumplings here! However sometimes you have to wait more than 20 minutos for the food. But that's not why I do not give it 5 stars but for the bathroom full of cobwebs. It made me feel like it was halloween

Has been a niche place for Dumplings but service became very very bad (terrible!). They barely understand English nor German. Drinks on the menu could not be ordered because the personnel was not there. Finally we left because we could not even order anything to eat (slow staff).

We booked a table for 4 on Saturday, the dumblings were great!! The turn off was the service, it took more than an hour to get them. The main dishes were small as well. Food is good but service needs to be improved big time.

Make sure you come here for the dumplings. 2-3 boxes to share and a selection platter each is plenty of food for two people. We were surprised by the mixed reviews, as our experience was excellent! The place was quiet when we visited on a Thursday evening, the dumplings were delicious, and our waiter was both very polite and spoke good English. We'll be coming back here to get our dumplings fix!

Simply not recommended. The portions are tiny and very expensive. Just as it is normal in Zurich, but there it is even more exaggerated. We had some dishes and they are certainly not identical to those in China. We know Chinese food directly from China and can judge it from experience. When we wanted to give the boss feedback and the waiter called her, she refused to speak to us. Someone who thinks everything is perfect... is incapable of criticism and is welcome to continue to receive bad reviews on the Internet. Because she is not interested in personal feedback.

Price: overpriced Waiting time: We waited about half an hour for the drink. Then an hour for the dumplings and another half hour for the main meal. Service: OK, the wrong food was brought once Food: ok, not special I ordered chilli shrimp. Had more dried out chili peppers than shrimp in the plate. Conclusion: We don't regret eating there. Otherwise we would never have known how bad it is there. There definitely won't be a second time. Save money and time, go somewhere else.

Small but very good selection of dumplings. “The crispy duck” is also highly recommended. The only downside: the restaurant is served by 1 waiter and 1 chef, which makes the waiting time too long for me. Offer the customers something to nibble in the meantime and the waiting time becomes a time of enjoyment

Food tastes okay. Found the prices a bit overpriced for the location (no, I'm not a tourist, I live in Zurich and am familiar with the prices). 15 CHF for 5 small dumplings is simply too much. And then the place is always full and you have to agree to stay from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. because after that the table is taken again. And just one service person for so many guests is a bit poor. If you want to eat very tasty dumplings, you should go to Tenz on Badenerstrasse (not far from Langstrasse).

Dumplings are very tasty, but are never enough as a main course! Service quick and friendly. Crispy fried duck wasn't crispy except for one or two pieces and wasn't very hot either... I told the waiter at the end and he reported it to the kitchen. For the price of 25.- for the duck, the portion could be a bit larger. Tap water costs 1.50.-...

We are regular at Wesley place and achi.We stayed hers though out the evening on Saturday for our freinds birthday It was packed being such a small place.Food was very different from other Chinese food. Slow beef was delicious with shrimps.Dumplings we ordered 12 portion its was so soft and juicysoft.cocktail were limited but very nice.We were a big group.The service was very helpful and kind throughout. We want to thank the management for giving us this beautiful evening.You made us happy.

The food is very tasty and the prices are good. The place is a bit small but totally OK! 2 stars deducted due to the service, which was very friendly but not really competent... the orders were taken incorrectly "every time" and the waiting times were very long. This really needs an improvement.

The dumplings here are great and worth the shot. However the noodle I had last time were tasteless and overcooked.

There were three of us on a Friday evening. The seating is very tight and of course there was a lot going on. We had 4 different dumplings, which were great, and ordered the same ones again while we were eating. We had to wait more than an hour for this. And we had to remind the waiter twice. The dessert (bean buns and fried bananas) was also delicious. But afterwards we had to wait another 20 minutes from ordering the bill until we could pay. I hope they work on their service... it's a real shame because the food was really great.

Came here hungry after eating mediocre sushi at a restaurant next door. I have eaten here for lunch and dinner before and always leave satisfied. I highly recommend this location for some of the best dumplings in the area.

Tried one of nearly every dumpling plus the Szechuan chicken and spare ribs. Portions are small and you will need to order more than you think in order to be full (with the corresponding increase in price). The food is good though; good dumplings for Zurich, clearly freshly made. The two Bao dumplings were my favorite. The service was slow - there were only two servers for a very busy restaurant - but they did their best and were quite friendly. I would go again. Still prefer Wesley’s though.

Super food and as the name suggests, delicious dumplings

We at the soup dumplings and the duck for the main dish. The flavours overall were good, the ingredients good quality. The skins of the dumplings were too thick - too doughy. This diluted the taste of the soup and filling. The duck was drenched in overly salty Hoi sin sauce which masked the flavour of what we thought was good quality duck. He dessert menu did not seem overly appealing; in fact it felt like a bit of an afterthought. Given the attention to detail overall, a more varied selection would have been appreciated. Overall, the portions could be more generous for the price. The service was very charming and friendly.

Very good Chinese restaurant. About 10 different types of dumplings and also other menus (including vegetarian). Relaxed, relaxed atmosphere. Easy setup. It's worth making a reservation as the restaurant isn't very big. This is easily done online on their website.

The dumplings were good but not exceptional, the deep fried prawns were absolutely delicious, and the one waiter (serving the whole place) was amazingly friendly but terribly overworked and busy. Overall a good experience but not one which makes you want to come back for more.

Food was delicious, and not very expensive. Drinks were expensive and the service seemed to have a bad day. They weren't very nice. Either way its okay to go there once when you want to eat Dumplings. But I dont recommend to go there often.
