I was here last night, beautiful restaurant and really welcoming and kind staff. Fresh food and a remarkable speed in receiving the dishes at the table.

I ate there last week with my family, the staff is very welcoming and made us feel at home. Top quality products, exceptional service; super recommended!

Italian excellence in Switzerland. The strong point is the quality of the products and the competent, kind and, above all, young staff. The bar corner also has a vast selection of DJ cocktails with refined products, I recommend the very good Hugo spritz. Suitable for all types of customers, if you go with children they have a cinema room where you can entertain them throughout the evening.

Today I went to Luigia and it was a wonderful experience, a beautiful place, well looked after and clean, really nice rooms and excellent food. I'll be back

We went to eat Tuesday March 26 and table placed next to the kitchen, I find that the food is very good and there is nothing to say. As for the service...the waitresses are very rude (apart from the blonde lady)! I came 2 weeks ago and it was the same (I had the same waitress) I didn't want to leave a review, because I know there is a big workload but no! Of course the customer can make a mistake in his order and it's his fault but there are manners of speaking! What can we say about this same waitress who tells us at 10 p.m. well you're done going, it's table 25 you have to go goodbye! I don't even want to come back! You will eventually lose all your customers even if your food is good! Very disappointed.

I was deeply disappointed by my experience at this Italian restaurant. Despite having expressly requested a non-alcoholic cocktail for personal reasons, the staff were unpleasant and uncooperative apart from the very nice cashier who unfortunately had nothing to do with it. The boss refused to hear our concerns and even raised his voice towards his colleague and us, which greatly tainted our evening. In addition, the food was passable (pasta bathed in olive oil, overcooked chocolate fondant) and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very noisy. I do not recommend this restaurant and will definitely choose to spend my money elsewhere in the future.

Very good pizzas, excellent quality. Fast and personal service that always welcomes us in a very friendly manner, with Alessandro and Florenc we now often exchange jokes, we always return with pleasure.

The best pizza in Lausanne, polite and helpful staff also in explaining and recommending dishes (Alessandro in particular is always kind and smiling). High quality Italian ingredients.

Not at all Italian experience: not bad cooking, but not very good mozzarella on the pizza (successful dough on the other hand), but really the feeling of being pushed out,.. Things have to work out! Unpleasant experience of a factory in the end.. Servers as nice as possible but surely stressed by oppressive management.. Better to find a pizzeria at least as good but family-run or on the right side of Italy! Del sud certo :)

We came from Madrid and we had the right dinner at this magnificent Italian restaurant. Thank you Mariano for your kindness and your attention in serving us, more than recommended.

I was here this morning, fast and efficient service. Upon my arrival they presented me with the new formula implemented 'FORMULA LUNCH' perfect for the lunch break and for those who only have 1 hour off. Fresh and quality products. I ate supplì on entry, followed by the "complete dish" of the formula (meatballs with sauce, mashed potatoes and salad). I am very satisfied with the service and the food! I recommend everyone to stop by and listen to the proposals of the trained and attentive waiters.

5 stars and above! My husband and I arrived on Friday evening without a reservation, despite knowing that the place is always very popular. It was actually full but we were amazed by the speed and kindness with which the guys at the entrance found us a nice table. We waited very little, 10 minutes at most! My husband loved the Italica pizza, pizzas so good not even in Italy, while I wanted to stay "lighter" and ordered meatballs with sauce with a side dish. What can I say, they really looked like the ones I ate at home as a child, what memories! And to conclude, Luigia's famous tiramisu! Well done, everything was delicious, very fresh ingredients, good guys, certainly busy but always smiling, helpful and professional. Well done in the kitchen too because it really felt like being in Italy! 10+

Did you know that on weekend, with a reservation, you only have 1 hour to eat? I would so not reccomend here- the moment i sat down they started to push me to decide what to eat by asking in every 2 minutes. I choose the first thing i saw on the menu, italica- served cold. I didnt mind cause i should be careful on ordering, it was written on the menu that the bufala and tomatoes are added after its cooked. So, I should have thought that the pizza itself would get cold too bc of the cold toppings. But unfortunetaly i didnt had time to think carefully before order due to the pushes. Anyway, no big deal, it can happen, i didnt mind munch UNTIL i asked the waitress to have a lil pause before the dessert. She said i better did not and ask me to choose right away. I got frusturated and went without a dessert. It turned out that I have only 1 hour for the table, thats why all the rushes. I am not blaming at all the waitress, she was trying to remind us that we have no time. But i am blaming the managers, making this 1 hour limit and taking away all the enjoy and rushing everyone. No customer ever should experience that. Only if I knew this rule when i was doing the reservation, i would never and ever come here to let Luigia ruin my night. Long story short, its up to you to decide- if you like to pay to eat in rush and also with an attitude that almost expelling you, go ahead you would enjoy. But if you like to experience a calm dinner and take your time to eat, go somewhere else. Personally, I am NEVER coming back again to this place. Apparently they have enough customer to overbook tables that you are currently sit on.

Food poisoning after eating at Luigia. I came to eat Saturday evening, I ordered pasta (miracolati) which was very disappointing compared to what is usually served. I left disappointed but I was mostly sick a few hours later. I will not come back.

Bad welcome, we were made to wait 30 minutes in the lobby even though we had reserved. When we received our table we realized that they had allocated us a table for 7-8 people when there were 11 of us, impossible to change. The service is a disaster, we are handed the tablet directly to select our dishes and we had to wait 20 minutes in the corridor at the exit to be able to pay. Despite everything, the food is good but the general atmosphere and the service mean that I would not recommend this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant for a dinner for two! Cuisine: The cuisine is very good and the presentation of the dishes is pretty. However, the pizzas are very thin (I personally prefer them a little thicker) but very good like in Italy. The Bruschetta was good but don't hesitate to add more toppings relative to the size of the bread, be more generous! The Tiramisu was excellent, I have nothing to say and the Hugo was perfect for my taste too! On the other hand, I didn't understand... 2.90 francs for a carafe of tap water at room temperature, something I'd never seen before. Staff: warm welcome. Friendly staff. A little long wait for dessert and a few oversights on the part of the server, but still professional and friendly. Setting/atmosphere: nice decoration, clean restaurant. Good atmosphere in the restaurant. Not too busy during the week. Location: restaurant in the city center. Free parking in the evening in the streets around the restaurant or otherwise the covered and paid Parking de la Paix. I reserved a table on their application which is very practical. Price: 82.90 francs for 1 starter, 2 main courses, 1 dessert and 3 drinks. Fairly decent price/quality.

Good! Too many people! A little too expensive!

A very good address for Italian food. Still slightly disappointed with the carbonara which was a little too salty, but the pizzas were good. The place is very well presented, the staff are professional, helpful and smiling, and the restaurant is easily accessible.

Nice setting but very noisy. The tables are too close together. Ridiculous! American-style service, quickly, quickly and quickly. They look forward to moving on to the next customer. We had reserved a table on Saturday evening to eat, a HORROR! there was extremely loud music, you had to shout to be able to chat at the table. Not to mention that the tables are 10cm from each other's urns, as long as you are next to a family with unruly children and rude parents... You have the perfect combo to have the worst evening possible. Luigia should really think about removing tables and putting more space, promoting customer comfort and profitability... And not letting children run around and lie on the tables.

The dishes are bland, not very filling and in no way represent Italy. Address is on the side, pleasant staff but too fast and refusal of a stroller I had to keep my sleeping baby in my arms, it's very unpleasant. Do not recommend.

What to say!!! There is little to say!!! Everything was perfect starting from the way you were welcomed up to the payment and final farewell. The food, the drinks, the service, the education, all I believe when you come away from a hellish week of work and problems you expect that when you go out to relax you expect an experience like you find in this amazing place . Other Italian places should take example from LUIGIA. Even in Italy LUIGIA can be an example for most restaurants, especially places that pass themselves off as high quality restaurants. Excellent quality and organisation, Prepared and well trained staff!!!! If you pass by the cities where LUIGIA is present, don't even think about going and trying other LUIGIA restaurants and certainly the one guaranteed

Best italian food in Lausanne ! Delicious meat

The cuisine is excellent. It's not possible to reserve a table, but if you go there early enough at noon, there is room. Small downside on the service which I find a little slow, but the waiters/waitresses are very pleasant and the quality of the dishes is worth it.

Luigia is legendary. You can’t go wrong! Prices have gotten high, but worth it for the best pizza outside of Italy.

Food too expensive for its quality and quantity. The sauces are no different from those we make at home (I don't cook very well either). Basically, they are too simple. We (2 people) paid 76chf with a starter, two pasta dishes with a tiny quantity and 1 dessert. The place is very pretty but it's not worth going there to eat. The servers are always on us and finally, I felt a little pressure.

Very disappointing customer experience. Incomprehensible booking process when it comes to a group booking. It took 2 calls, 3 email exchanges and a visit to the website to try to book so that the reservation was ultimately not taken into account. By telephone I was told that the group reservation must be made by e-mail, which was done and despite the confirmation by e-mail, upon arrival we were told that no reservation had been taken into account and that it There is no more room to accommodate us. The atmosphere was pretty and the staff was very welcoming. The food came pretty fast. I had the Brushetta as entry, which was very refreshing and filling. The pizza tasted so good, i could tell they used fresh ingredients. I definitely will go bad in the future!

Was disappointed with the presentation. I ordered a typical meal "orecchiette with polpette tomato sauce" for about 24 Fr. There were only 2-3 small polpette. Asked if I could add more. The answer was it's a "startup"??? I shared that I was disappointed with what I had on my plate. The pizza is very good and is baked with wood fired ovens. I can highly recommend this. The rest?

Ideal for a relaxed evening with children!

First and last time. The prices are exorbitant, the service more than average. There were 26 of us for a birthday spread over 3 tables. The waiter took the order to eat from the 3 tables when the first 2 had finished… The food is mediocre, industrial quality without any taste of Italy. The fries tasted more like frying oil than potatoes and the tiramisu, which is still a classic Italian dessert, was almost inedible for 12.-. Made with little butter. No taste of coffee or amaretto apart from the mascarpone.. this was only my criticism but the leftovers of the guests think no less…

For me the best pizza in French-speaking Switzerland. The dough is incredible and the ingredients are quality. The place is atypical and full of charm (old cinema) So yes there are flaws, it's noisy, full of people, but it's because people like the luigia so we go back there with great pleasure every time. Keep it up.

I reserved a table for 9 people on Friday 15.12, the reservation was taken on their website. We were less than 10 minutes late and the reservation email clearly states that if there is more than 10 minutes late, the reservation is canceled. We arrived at Luigia and the man at the entrance refused our reservation and sent us farting without knowing anything. Refused 9 people I find this unacceptable!! In response to your answer: This is false!!! We were all there less than 10 minutes late (5 inside talking with a very unpleasant gentleman and 4 outside) You didn't try to find a solution, you sent us PETER!!!!! Ahhhh yes sorry, the solution was to wait 2 hours for a table, great thank you! Whereas I reserved a table for a birthday and we arrived LESS than 10 minutes late!!!! If you see this as good professionalism there is a big problem. In any case, you are very funny contradicting customers....

Very good Italian restaurant with excellent value for money! On the other hand, Uber delivery is a disaster, yesterday I didn't receive my salad, the starters were upside down and the pizzas were cold! A little disappointed given the price.. impossible to reach you last night and Uber reimbursed only the missing salad.. I hope for a quick customer response!

Unacceptable, we had reserved a table for 8 p.m., then we tried to call to warn of our 10 min delay but no response. Arrived there we were refused entry because we were late despite the calls made without response the person at the entrance did not want to know anything while the other restaurants no longer allow entry if it is 30 minutes late. To see you didn't need money, there were 9 of us. It's absolute mediocrity. You are weak.

We have just left the establishment, a disaster. We had taken the time to reserve our table of 7 several days in advance and when we arrived we had to wait 25 minutes to be placed upstairs where the tropical heat reigned. Then we ordered our dishes and waited 1 hour for our dishes despite our complaints to the waiters, who barely apologized and brought us some mini arancini and a mini arugula salad without sauce as appetizers. When our food finally arrived it took them another 15 minutes to bring a lasagna (great for eating with friends). When paying, I took the liberty of asking for a commercial gesture which was refused to me (perhaps because we are young adults) under the pretext that it's like that when there are people (they prefer to run after profit rather than offering a decent service). Fortunately the place is interesting to see. The old cinema transformed into a restaurant. For the rest: Horrible! We had reservations, but the table was too small to fit everyone. We ate on top of each other, so much so that the people at the next table were embarrassed for us... I tried to speak to the manager, who clearly didn't care, even though solutions existed. I ordered spaghetti vongole, which was not as good as the ready-made mixture from the coop 😂 dessert, I didn't understand, for the first time in my life, I had to send it back (I've never did that) but it just wasn't possible. They accept too many people, it's really amazing. As a result, the setting, which seemed nice at the start of the evening, transformed into a corporate cafeteria-like atmosphere, impossible to speak and hear everyone around the table, and yet we were stuck together... Much too loud music last night (08.12.2023). Impossible to discuss without shouting. Two tables next to it asked if it was possible to lower the volume, but the response was that it's automatic and it's not possible to make changes. One person received their plate when the rest of the group was finishing their pizzas. There has been a menu change, and some dishes we love have disappeared. It's too bad.

This is incredibly annoying! We place an order on Uber Eats, wait forever, push back on the software a dozen times and bam, the order is canceled. While the delivery man is just a stone's throw away, my staff waits outside during the entire waiting time for the delivery. Person. Don't go saying that someone passed by. We order for our storefront business, and we get canceled because, apparently, the delivery person can't find the address. Seriously? It doesn't matter whose fault it is, the problem is that my team and I didn't eat at 9:00 p.m., Great. My advice: save yourself the surprises, eat there and forget about delivery. No way to contact either Uber or Luigia to find out what happened. Zero experience.

Ordering through Uber Eats, we waited 1 hour, finally they canceled our order..., refuse Uber Eats orders if you can't keep up.... instead of making customers wait 15 years... We were talking at the same time with the Uber couriers, we had 3 so lol they all told us that they are very unpleasant and that they were always packing up. !, shame, poor people, they have nothing to do with it!.

Luigia Lausanne is a must-go as it's inside an old movie theater and it absolutely beautiful. The pizza are very good (my favorite in Lausanne) and the service is express. The team keeps changing, so sometimes you have very friendly waiter(ess) and sometimes not..

Been there 3 times. Gave a chance and it didn't pay. The first time I was in the big hall and I waited more than a hour to get hour plate even that the restaurant was half empty. Second time I was upstairs and it was so hot, no AC at all and received the pasta almost cold. And the third time was Friday 24.11.2023. We were 10, upstairs, no place to move because we have to leave place for waiters, hot as usual, and at the end the lady at the desk added one bottle of wine, 2 coffee and dessert we didn't had. Never again.

We went to this restaurant for dinner last night. We arrived in 2 groups. They wouldn't give us our table until everyone had arrived. We are made to wait on the side. There were 10 of us at the base and ultimately only 8. Small round table. We were all crowded together to eat. We ordered salads as starters which arrived after the main course and there was no room on the table to place them with our dishes. The dishes were good but they arrived cold... Restaurant much too noisy. We didn't get along at all and had to speak very loudly to argue. I strongly advise against it!

We came on a Saturday lunchtime with my parents. The waiter in charge of seating people told us there would be a 35-minute wait for 3 people. We said we weren't going to wait. When leaving the next group of young people of 3 people was told there would be a 5 minute wait. Maybe they knew him...

We ordered 4 pizzas via Uber. We waited more than 2 hours to learn that the pizzeria had not even taken the order... We tried to call the restaurant several times, with no response... I do not recommend this pizzeria.

Charming setting (old cinema) but food and service not at all up to par! Excessive prices (7.- extra to replace chicken with salmon in a salad!!!!) I find this place very noisy, poor food and the staff not very competent. The wait is long and the bill is very steep!

I ordered on Uber and they simply took 2 hours to take our order. They didn't answer the phone the whole time. THEY DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING TO THE DELIVERERS EITHER. It is unacceptable. I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.

2 hours of delays, no answer on the phone, doesn't have the courtesy to tell the poor delivery guy that the order will be late... it's not like he's paid by the task...

It's the second time I've come here and I had a great time in both. Very varied menu with many possibilities (vegetarian, vegan...) Very good pizza and pasta too, the carbonara in particular was delicious. There are many desserts, I tried the tiramisu and the pistachio cheesecake, both very good. The service in general is excellent, we were served by Mariano, very kind, friendly and helpful, we had a very good time. I will definitely go back.

Friday night, crowded restaurant but still good service. Friendly staff, very meticulous. Overall food was good, the only minus is the carbonara , the egg seemed overcooked, it was dry and not tasteful. Pizzas were well-sized and tasty. The restaurant itself and atmosphere are quite sumptuous.
