Good pizza! Truly an Italian vibe (with everyone there working there being Italian). You can't go wrong with any pizza, any we have tried from this location or any other is good. The servers are helpful at making suggestions too.

Everything Excellent!! Fantastic Pizza!!

We had carbonara and vongole pasta. The staff and chef were very accommodating when we asked if we could change from spaghetti to other types of pasta. The bucatini and fettuccine were perfectly cooked. There was plenty of sauce for our pasta. The guanciale was plenty and wonderfully crispy. Margherita Con Prosciutto Crudo Di Parma was also great. Well seasoned and the dough was real yummy. Very attentive staff. Didn’t have to wait long at all from starter to main. After having tried both geneva and fribourg, I have to say we really like Luigia in Fribourg in terms of food and staff.

Sublime restaurant!! Leaving from the service. Waitress, smiling, very friendly, who makes me feel at home, it's a huge pleasure. Decoration of the restaurant, magnificent! I knew the old restaurant, also very pretty, but this one is remarkable. The dishes, starting from the starter with the brushettas, to the main course with the gnocchi with cheese sauce and to the dessert with the crème brulé, I say thank you for this trip to Italy! We will come back for Valentine's Day, because it is the top 1 Italian restaurant and I hope we will stay for a long time. Thank you and see you soon everyone!

Top experience! We had dinner at 9 p.m. and it really tasted excellent. We had bruscetta, rice balls, pizza margherita and papardelle bolognese. Only the mixed salad wasn't quite as good, but we'll ignore that. :) The service was very fast and also friendly. We'll be back :) Thank you!

Terrible evening in this restaurant in Fribourg. The tables are way too close together. No physical card, you must log in to read a virtual card. The service is not good. Waiting 20 minutes for a bottle of wine, never receiving the bottle of water... The pizzas arrived cold. The cheese wasn't even melted. Offering extras on the pizza, without indicating the price and being charged 15 francs for 3-4 truffle shavings.... abuse... We tried to complain to the waiter, who did not understand French. .. really a bad evening!

Tip Top 👌just excellent from our reservation to the welcome as warm and pleasant as the dishes that we were able to taste which transported us to Italy… I come back to the welcome and the service people will recognize themselves, nowadays that is becoming rare. Thank you for giving us a wonderful evening on the 6th with our many requests. Thank you for your humor and your dedication. We take up residence at Luigia for our dinners and birthdays♥️😎🫡

Excellent pasta accompanied by delicious Tuscan wine, in a colorful Christmas atmosphere. I really like this restaurant, everything is really good, closing your eyes you feel like you're in Italy.

From the lovely welcome we got as we entered (without a reservation and with a baby and a dog in our party), to the very nice pint of beer to the fantastic spicy pizzas with a lovely base and sweet saude

Great experience, real Italian food. The quality of the products is excellent. Really happy to have met him. Just the right wait for a plate of express pasta, perfectly cooked. I thank the owner for his smile and manner. Even the chef, even though they were in full service, smiled and greeted us, not knowing we were Italian. Really fantastic, I hope to try the other locations.

We have been ordering from Luigia every week for years and going there regularly to eat. The more time passes, the more disappointed we become!!! The more you order, the poorer the quality becomes. The rum babas have become 2x smaller. The truffle petals have lost their splendor: last order was too salty, the garnish questionable, barely a few truffle flakes... We're not even talking about the fact that everything is cold and upside down.... At the price it costs, it's seriously starting to cool us down. On site, the service leaves something to be desired. The manager is very, very friendly and efficient but the waiters are very average: waiting time too long, an unpleasant limit, we never received a toast for the tartare, we were not offered an aperitif....in short, come here 'in the city of Friborg for that: less and less for us.

It wasn't the first time we came to eat and unfortunately I find that the pizzas are not as good as before. The tomato sauce is sweet. But the squid with the French fries were very good as always.

The service is good, no waiting, however I do not recommend the vongole pasta, overcooked and bland! The glass of wine costs 9.50 while the bottle costs 49.- it's a steal! 1st and last time in this restaurant price too high for the quality.

22 chf per pizza! 45 minutes to deliver and this is the result! A shame, you don't respect the luigia standard!

Wow! Taste this focaccia with bresaola and ricotta! A delight, surrounded by a crispy Neapolitan pastry. The service is dynamic, polite and smiling. A priori no reservation possible. If you are ever asked to wait for a pochino, the Campari spritz will make you travel and pass the minutes more quickly ;-). I recommend !

Sparkling water in a carafe of around 1 liter, priced at 12 francs!!

Authentic cuisine from several Italian regions, for example, Lombardy and Naples. The staff is well versed in the culinary traditions of Italy. My friends' daughter was served her small pizza very quickly. The clientele includes a good number of Italians.

Perhaps it would be better to rename this dish “Pulpo Napoletana”, rather than “Calamarata Napoletana”? it would at least be a little more *honest* towards potential consumers/buyers… (see photo)

Very nice pizzeria on the theme of Italian cinema. Luxury pizzas, excellent to eat and beautiful to look at. The children's area with children's cinema room is very good for children aged 4-5 years old, for the little ones we receive small pencils and paper, nice note.

The dishes served were very good! We had a blast. The terrace is very nice, it’s nice to be able to eat outside when the weather is nice. The servers were very professional. Not too much waiting between dishes.

Good morning, I only provide reviews when necessary to inform potential future consumers. Firstly, I find that the value for money is not adequate. Secondly, the waiters are disoriented, they don't know which dishes correspond to which customer which can be disturbing when dishes are brought to your table 5 times to ask you if you ordered that. Finally, my wife and I did not appreciate the taste of the dishes we ate such as the different fried foods served in pairs as well as the salami pizza. We had stomach acid surges after eating which could be due to the food we ate. Sincerely, Hassan

For Switzerland, I would say that the quality of the dishes is more than respectable. A friend had a slightly burnt pizza and the dough in general was quite hard, but the other pizzas seemed better, the burrata on the pizza was excellent and in general the toppings of the pizzas and the dishes were really not bad. Prices in the Swiss average. Very kind staff. I would go back, if you don't know where to eat here you're on the safe side, and then you have a nice choice on the menu

If you like authentic Italian food, you're in good hands here! The food is really good here - both pizza and pasta and other dishes. We always enjoy coming back. It is also a very child-friendly restaurant with a games room with a cinema, Töggelichachte and various slot machines + cotton candy machine. For the very little ones, there is also something to color at the table upon request. Mine points are for dessert. We tried many things, but none of the desserts impressed us. So there’s still potential😊 You can park in many places. There is a large parking lot nearby (3-4 minutes on foot) or a parking garage next to it. The service employees are all very friendly and accommodating.

Impeccable service and cozy atmosphere. Possibly the best carbonara I've ever had. It would have been perfect if there were physical menus instead of only online ones which we had to painstakingly browse.

My friend received his dish well after the others (when almost everyone had finished) as for my dish which was a sort of black angus carpacio at 29 francs per plate with three points of black truffle as the main course on the menu. When the plate arrived it was a starter size. At the time of Bella Vita it was much better!

Having been there for the first time, I am completely exhausted and I will never set foot there again! The cold lasagna, the uncooked pasta, the carbonara tasted like it was warming, not to mention the bits of bacon which were just fat 👀 and I can't forget the welcome

Very disappointed with the quality despite the prices still being quite high! The service was very slow! Our order was placed at 7:30 p.m. and we were served at 9:15 p.m.! It's a shame and no apology given or other little aperitif to keep us waiting! The Pizza was delicious, but the Dessert (lemon sorbet) was too expensive (9.50 for a scoop) and had an aftertaste. Otherwise very warm welcome and good atmosphere.

Very good Italian food, pizza, pasta and large choice of dessert. Various vegetarian and vegan option. The atmosphere is unique, they designed the restaurant as an old school Italian cinema.

Luigia is an excellent restaurant with real Italian charm. A wide variety of cocktails are offered, as is a wide choice of dishes, all succulent and to suit everyone's taste! The staff is welcoming, smiling and has great concern for total customer satisfaction! For having gone there recently, following a very small inconvenience, a dessert was offered to me as compensation. It’s always a pleasure to go there! Parking, train station and cinema are located 5-7 minutes from the Luigia

They don't have paper menu to start with. The QR code doesn't function properly too, so quite difficult to know what they really have. We wanted just yo have a drink and the waitress just came to us and asked "what would you like?" without us knowing what they actually have. Seem to be a normal thing here in Friboirg, experienced it more than once already, but still annoying. What if i order "Sirop from angel wings" or whatever else exotic? They will not have it I guess. Very unpleasant experience. I ended up ordering Coke, cause that's what I could come up with without seeing the menu. The Coke tasted ok. Not coming back.
