Very welcoming - pizza too big and salmon lasagna excellent

Great welcome and delicious food. Place to discover, don't hesitate.

I liked going there with my friends. But the quality of food has declined for some time. I had carb pasta. They didn't have the usual taste but not inedible. I had stomach cramps and vomited all night. I'm not going back there again.

In a very special restaurant: excellent pizza

We were treated very badly, they didn't explain anything to us, the staff was not welcoming at all. It was difficult to communicate with the staff and it seemed like they were making fun of us a bit. The food wasn't good, my pizza was burnt and they put chilli in the risotto even though it wasn't among the ingredients. Prices a little too high given that it is self-service. Very bad experience, I don't recommend going there.

Great restaurant, spacious. Personally, I have never been disappointed with my meals; always excellent. In terms of service, the staff is very kind and helpful. The only small downside concerns the cleanliness of the tables which is not always at the best.

Rotten salad to take away: figs with mold, mint leaves more than expired and in addition no beans, only salad leaves... as a doctor this place is a risk for public health. 100% chance of recovering from nasty gastroenteritis.

One of my favourite restaurants in Fribourg :) I often go there with my dad and I find it adorable that the receptionist recognises us. Once I went there with my mom and our dog and while we were ordering, one of the employees left a little bowl of water for our dog, we didn’t see who did it but I just want to say thanks to that person. <3 The food is cooked in front of you, so you can see how the food is made. The pastas taste just amazing and the salads too but I don’t recommend the lasagnas, it was too salty and dry. By the way have a great day! Can’t wait to come back :)

The cuisine is relatively good although the Vasano from Lausanne remains well above my taste. The staff seems detached and unfriendly. If we take into consideration the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the cuisine, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the prices are not really reasonable. I recommend going there but sparingly

I discovered the concept, it was a good surprise, as was the quality of the food.

It was excellent Good service, but even though it is a bilingual city, they speak little German.

I order pasta and it was the worst I ever had in long time …. Not coming back

Not the nicest food, Concept is a bit all over the place. Risotto had no white wine and the chef asked me if i wanted chilli with that? Chilli on Risotto? No thanks...

The Mists Della Casa salad with burrata and grilled vegetables was delicious, the portion was quite large. Minus one star for the missing tuna - but maybe I wasn't understood properly because the service only speaks French and Italian and doesn't understand German.

Excellent meal, ambiance and different lighting available. Several parking lots nearby.

Good food in a nice, clean restaurant with a great ambience, good staff/service (difficult to rate because self service)

The decoration and setting very good, but the pizza didn't have enough taste, it lacked salt but I will return on occasion to taste the pasta.

It’s really a shame this change! We were really big fans of VaPiano but since it changed its name everything has become bland.. before there was no need to add salt to dishes, but now it has become obligatory if you want to hope to taste the taste of food... We will definitely go back there again!!

We ordered two pizzas to take away. Unfortunately, we received two pizzas that were completely upside down, and what's more, they weren't good at all. The ingredients seemed of poor quality, and the pizza dough was completely wet. 50.- thrown in the trash. This was our first experience with Vasano, and it will also be our last. To avoid.

The food was delicious, some of the staff seemed a bit unmotivated. Ambiance like before at Vapiano.

Honestly very good and the atmosphere is nice

It’s really a shame that for the lunch service there is only one person who takes care of the kitchen, we wait quite a bit…

I had already been to the old vapiano several times, and I loved it, but I haven't been there since they changed.. twice at vasano, both times I got food poisoning.... I doubt the freshness of the products

I went to eat with 3 friends. The cook is very bitter, in fact some of us asked for garlic according to the cook's suggestion but the quantity was unusual which spoiled the dish and we were unable to finish it, not to mention the stomach pain after eating. Honestly, I'm not going back there anymore.

Great ambience, fine pizza, great value for money

Pizza big disappointment no taste and impossible to cut I ate just a little because I was hungry! You check out the smallest thing and still ask if it was a brief disappointment, too bad because the place is very beautiful and the small terrace too!

Italian food prepared to order in front of your eyes behind a counter! Excellent dishes. The desserts on the other hand leave something to be desired and seem industrial. Excellent. atmosphere. Beautiful huge room as well as large, very well appointed terrace!

Beware of rip-offs! There were three of us and the food was tasteless and disgusting. The employee at the salad simply double-typed the ingredients and was very unfriendly! We ordered a salad and were charged twice. If we hadn't looked at the receipt, we would be missing 18.00 CHF! Never again! 🤮

I like vasano. I think the food there is delicious and you get it very quickly.

Modern restaurant, well looked after and warm. Do-it-yourself service for the customer, in the sense that the dish must be collected personally at the counter when it is ready. The pasta was a little overcooked but very good in the sauce.

Catastrophic experience never again, the pasta had no taste, no salt, no spices cooking the pasta too hard I won't go back there again.

The restaurant is very good, the food offering is diverse, the service is fast and efficient, I've been going there for a long time, the only downside in summer is that it's way too hot inside! Otherwise, apart from that, nothing to say.

Very good Italian restaurant, located in Friborg with easy pedestrian access. Whether it's pasta, lasagna or the garlic or tomato bread starter, the dishes are generous and excellent, I recommend!

Food was good and tasty, miss it so much maybe best restaurant in town especially if you go to Taras in back it was nice and cute.

A really nice little restaurant, the food we ordered (crema de funghi(zoodles) + Alfredo) was really really nice, made in front of us, as is there way, and overall it was a pleasant experience, couldn't sit outside due to an ant infestation but that's not the establishments fault, it's the height of ant season. Either way, staff were polite enough and food was good, I would certainly go again! 4/5 🔥

The concept (card and self-service) is nice but ultimately doesn't add much more. Yes, speed but that's already a big plus. The tables are not practical. The big decoration in the middle prevents you from seeing the person opposite. My girlfriend and I stood side by side to finish. This is not a place for a romantic tête-à-tête. As for the dish, I don't recommend pizza. They are not bad but can clearly do better. The corner with sofas and coffee tables is a nice touch for something to drink after a meal. I recommend this restaurant if you want to eat something simple quickly.

I had previously left a positive review on this restaurant but I am changing it today, the elderly waiter with glasses has a very contemptuous look, it is difficult to extract a thank you or a goodbye from his mouth or even a smile, a another waitress not smiling either and another who takes more than 6 minutes to prepare a mojito… It's no longer worth what it was before!

Too bad I would prefer the other brand, the dishes had little or no exceptional taste and given the night I spent, I doubt the freshness of the food. The prices are really too expensive to use silk yourself

Restaurant price for self service, uncomfortable furniture and seafood pizza with only 5 shrimp on the whole pizza. I strongly advise against this restaurant.

I love the concept (fast service, dish prepared in front of the customer) but the quality of the pasta is plummeting. Not sure I'll go back there.

Too bad, very disappointed🙄☹️☹️ The chicken-barbecue sauce-smoked cheese-garlic-cilantro pizza was “tasteless”: The barbecue sauce I only smelled in 2 bites, the cheese, no smoked taste, didn't smell the garlic and the coriander had been replaced by basil....🤔🤔🤔 And what's more, it was very fatty. I'm going to go back there. It was better under the other name

It's quick and super tasty, noodles from our own production.

It's not bad, but I can't say it's excellent. It's a good quick fix, but for me it stops there. The tastes are neither frank nor refined. More like a fast food restaurant than a restaurant, the service is done at the counter, like at McDonald's. The concept is not to my taste, for the rest, I have nothing particularly negative to say.

Very fesh caprese salad and very good mozzarella on the roll and excellent because it has a very good taste of olive oil. The discovery of the day is the pizza of the month with its delicious squash sauce with small cubes of squash on top of mushrooms and burrata (the pizza has a pronounced squash taste). Then the other pizza is good with good products.

The atmosphere is rather relaxing. My daughter and I were there around 1:30 p.m., with our dog, which we obviously had on a leash. Little wait. My daughter chose the salmon pasta. And found it a little heavy, but given the choice it's normal. The cook asked if we wanted pepper and chili, we appreciated this attention as we don't like dishes that are too spicy. I recommend

Very pleasant place, very clean, the dishes, especially the pizzas, are made in front of you, the servers at the counters are very welcoming and friendly. The setting is warm with a fireplace in winter. The food is good without being greasy. Pleasant setting for meeting up with friends and family. To know!

Very questionable food... Ingredients often not fresh or even spoiled, I had food poisoning because of a dish bought here, Pasta Chicken Alfredo. To avoid.

Noisy but friendly and fair prices

A little disappointed with my last visits. The welcome was not great (a Saturday evening) and the benches are broken. The food is relatively good but the price is no longer justified since we are the ones providing the service. Atmosphere which varies between friendly cosi and canteen. The floor is covered with cardboard, it stands out and it's a shame.

Lack of professionalism. The customer is just a money-making machine... We sat down and already the table was dirty. As I was a little hungry, I asked for a small pizza. The cook told me that there was a small pizza for children. So I kindly asked him for this pizza with anchovy addition. He then tells me that he can't prepare this pizza for me as I'm not a child! Really disappointed because I should have taken a large pizza and then thrown away the excess! We simply left this restaurant to go to Molino where I was able to order my little pizza without any problem!

We had 2 different pizzas that were simply catastrophic! No salt in the sauce or dough and too much cheese which also tasted strange. Ingredients didn't taste fresh. It was no surprise that we got diarrhea after eating.

Unsatisfactory service: rude and distracted staff, not interested in the customer's well-being, miserable portions, my son almost fell from an unstable chair, never again.

Quality declining since Vapiano became VaSano. But prices have gone up. The dishes are done in front of you but the ventilation hoods do not turn. So there are a lot of cooking and oily smells in the restaurant and we come out with smells that smell very strongly of cooking. The dishes are generally good. But too many negative points. There is the ground Who has been with construction plates for months. It’s a real shame because it was a pretty nice place. Radical change of direction to consider for owners.

Beautiful place with regular but super delicious, fresh Italian food. They offer a small variety of vegan pasta options : All'Arrabiata, Pomodoro, Aglio e Olio & Ratatouille. Service is quite fast and staff very friendly. I recommend eating on their terrace since it's super cozy and lovely!

Always well received and well eaten. Ordering is easy and there is very little waiting, not to mention the children's play area which allows for a relaxed meal 😍 it's great, we had a great time 😋

Offers an interesting menu with gluten-free pizzas, but unfortunately, the pizza chef didn't know it was on the menu so I was worried about contamination. Being accompanied by a child intolerant to gluten, we preferred to change establishments….Too bad.

I had the linguine pomodoro and have mixed feelings about it. Let's say it was ok. The presumedly south American chef had a little go with the spices and it was a bit too spicy. Alla arrabiata would have been a more correct nomination of what I was served. Service was friendly, prices were ok.

Interesting ! Almost all recipes can be adapted for allergy sufferers (for example by replacing pasta with zucchini noodles). The portions are generous and adapted to everyone's taste (the cook asks if you want chili, garlic or cheese. Some cooks are not very friendly but always polite...

It's a Vapiano as you know Vapiano. I can only recommend reading the signs so you don't end up in the wrong line. Pizza & lasagna, pasta and salads The advantage is that the shop is quite spacious and you therefore have enough distance from the next guests while eating.
