Very fine pizzas, sandwiches, sweet pastries and much more that your heart desires. The manager is always very friendly.

So far I really liked everything I tried - breadsticks, marmor cake, eclair. Very good.

We ordered a vanilla sheet cake for my daughters birthday and it was just perfect. We were able to customize the design and have them write happy birthday on the cake for us. It fed more than 30 people and some had more than one helping. The cake was really moist and delicious and the icing was also very tasty. I highly recommend getting a custom sheet cake from Ma’adan Bakery.

It's expensive but the food is good

Such a lovely oasis of kosher yummyness in the middle of a kosher desolate prairie. The menu has such a wide array of choices not limited to just pastries. They have pizza which is fantastic and premade falafel salad as well as pasta dishes etc. I tried a fare amount of items and I highly this location!! When you are in Zurich and are looking for a kosher option this bakery should be high on your list. One thing you need to know is Zurich is pricey so don’t be alarmed by the cost.

You will find very fine products here in this bakery. The staff behind the sales counter are also friendly and accommodating. The boss himself often lends a hand, a very nice man! A kosher place (and there aren't many like that) but not cheap. Maybe these are the prices in all of Zurich. We were excited when we arrived at the end of the day at the Kosher Mafia (at 17:40, when it closed at 18:00) but we received a stinging comment that the Israelis always arrive at the last minute. It was not to the point.

My favorit place for bakery, patisserie and confectionary. Everything is tasty, looking appetizing and always fresh. Big choice from Swiss classics like Cremeschnitten and Zimtschnecken (but much better then elsewhere) or hard to find Eclaires to XXL Prussiens. Good choice of vegan products. And everyrhing koscher :)

So many choices, available fresh! I was unsure what to pickup and ended up buying a fresh vegetable salad for lunch.

Love this bakery! All pastries and breads taste wonderful and are of high quality! There is also a large take-away offer, e.g. pizzas, soups, falafel and supermarket products to buy, which is just super practical. Only the prices for confectionery and cake slices are a bit expensive...

I didn’t enjoy the experience I had at this bakery. The sales assistant was cold and rude. The bakery itself sells nothing special. Hot drinks are made by a machine where all you need to do is to push a button. So you’d definitely not come here to try Zurich’s best coffee. When I picked up my hot drink, it started burning my fingers and I had to quickly place the hot drink down on the table closest to me. The sales assistant started complaining that I couldn’t be in that particular area of the bakery. She rushed me out of the bakery instead of trying to help me. She then must’ve felt bad about the bad service she gave me and then came out of the store to give me some serviettes so that I could hold the hot drink. Honestly? It was too little too late. I left the store feeling angry. Conclusion: bad service, average products on sale, below average hot drinks being made.

For an incredible 2.80 I treated myself to a Berliner. Unfortunately, I discovered at home that this pastry had no jam. On my next visit I described my bad purchase and asked if she would be so good as to give me a new Berliner as compensation. The cheeky ladies at the counter refused me this and said I could buy a new Berliner. This was probably my last visit. Ma’adan Bakery sells expensive goods and provides VERY poor service.
