Read until the end! We visited during the Cully Jazz festival; every place serving food was faced by a crowd. I asked the first salesperson whether anything completely without milk products and meat was served; he told me to get an arancini (stuffed rice ball) with eggplant. When I got to the second salesperson, he told me that that the arancini are actually fried in "a little butter". Making a silly decision (disregarding my milk protein allergy) as I was hungry, I decided to go for it anyway. When I actually got the arancini - which took a long time because the microwave broke down - it wasn't the one with eggplant, but with meat. The third salesperson was very apologetic. I then waited some more, to finally get the arancini - only to find out that the filling also contained cheese and not just eggplant. Hint for staff - cheese is also a milk product! By this time almost half an hour had passed and we needed to rush for a concert. I took a few bites of the edges, trying to avoid the filling oozing with cheese. Honestly, they tasted heavenly and I will try to make arancini - without milk products - at home as a result, but customers should not be misinformed on ingredients even during a special event. My husband happily ate what I couldn't, and also loved the cannoli (it is really hard to find fresh cannoli outside the Italian-speaking part in Switzerland). So, if you don't have any allergies, this is definitely a place to go...

Wir waren gestern im Lavaux zu Fuss unterwegs und haben im "Made in Italy" zu Mittag gegessen. Die Lasagne war selbst gemacht und sehr fein zubereitet, nach einem sizilianischen Rezept. Die Bedienung durch den Ladenbesitzer war sehr aufmerksam und die Atmosphäre im Laden sehr angenehm.Wir können dieses Lokal wärmstens weiterempfehlen!Helen und Stefan aus Bern

here you can find so many different things from olive oil,home made pasta,cheeses compotes,well the list it is immense,good quality of course ,,it is worth it to visit.I did try the porcini al pesto ,there are other flavors .I really recommend it
