Very disappointing experience. I stood in the jewelry department for a good 20 minutes waiting for the specialist, who saw me but skillfully ignored me. Two other customers came after me, but they were also served before me. When I talk to the lady about it, she waves her hands and says “hani nit gseh” but still runs over to the other customers. You could ask who came first if you're already losing track and pray for help from your colleagues if you're overwhelmed. But no, she couldn't even apologize or even look me in the eyes. It was too stupid for me. I'd rather go to the competition.

Not very crowded and very nice. You can spend time with your family and do the necessary shopping for a week.

The staff leaves a really bad impression... lack of respect for customers. You spend 15 minutes waiting for help or to buy something, and suddenly the employees turn their attention to other customers, supposedly because they know each other. This is particularly annoying, especially in the jewelry and watch departments.

The two women in the men's department just talked to each other, didn't help. I talked to one of them and said what we wanted, she just said what was there. After a long search (me) we finally found two pairs of jeans. I wonder what the two ladies are there for??? Bad service!!!

I haven't been there to shop in ages. And I have to honestly say, I'd love to come back here because it's not so hectic and it's also practical for the children. The only thing that unfortunately deducts a star is the cleanliness of the toilets as there is a lack of regular inspection.

Terrible! The customers are completely ignored while the employees look at themselves in the mirror🙄

Manor Kundenservice is simply awful here. They totaly messed up with online orders, no appologies, no assistance. Waste of time, energy for ridiculous discussions. Mo more trust

Unfortunately, customer friendliness in the jewelry and watch department is a disaster. I took my ring in for repairs for the fourth time and asked for the money back. Unfortunately there is still no solution to this day. I had my ring repaired in mid-November. I find this very unfortunate.

The women who work in the Esteelauder department at Manor are very discriminatory. And they serve according to the customer's appearance. This is very disrespectful.

Nice shop with a decent selection. Unfortunately too expensive compared to competitors. What particularly struck me when it came to toys was that the competitor, for example, for the same item. 129 Fr. Lego Duplo paid 30-50 Fr. less and I don't mean online shopping.

You take your time on Friday to have your watch fixed. After researching online whether this service is offered, you are informed at the checkout that the person responsible is not there. For me that means that this service depends on one person and if this person is missing, this business comes to a standstill. It's very unprofessional in my opinion. Thanks for wasting time.

Bad conditions and just incompetence in service and at the checkout. Wouldn't recommend the store to anyone. Makes you look for upscale retail but can only just keep up with Coop City. Just underwhelming how disrespectful the staff is towards customers. Although Manor isn't doing so well either way.

St. Jakob has everything but close too early 6pm.

Was in St.Jakobpark and saw that the manor had become a lot smaller. There is no more Manor at the main entrance. Now there is an Aldi and Burgerking there. I think it's a bit of a shame that Manor is no longer there. When I'm in St.Jakobpark I still browse around Manor there.

It is a large supermarket, where you can find a wide variety of stores and products, perfumes, phones, clothing, footwear, groceries, sports, etc.

Unfortunately, I can never find anything in the Manor women's clothing department! Somehow it is arranged in a confusing way.

Second or third largest shopping mall in Basel. Easy to reach by public transport, or by car. It’s located right next to the stadium, and besides Manor, there are no other major brands.

Since Coop has been in the St. Jakob Center you can finally shop again

A perfect place to shop in a relaxed manner. A good mix of different shops. The shopping center is very practical. Everything is a bit playful, so you can always discover a new corner. Highly recommended. Good connection by tram.

Well, unfortunately a lot of departments were reduced and all the food was gone...a shame

I miss the exclusive home accessories in the household department, Kudos to the employees, both ladies were very polite and accommodating. The cash register has been moved to the back, which I find inconvenient I almost didn't find her.

There is no Mannor there anymore

It's a circus out of such nice shopping. Until Aldi and Coop open, there's nothing to look for anymore. They bake food in those aisles, everything stinks. I don't know, but that's my opinion.

Simply wonderful to be in St. Jakob Manor again Except that the owner of a young dog 🐕 left such a mess on her dog and I pointed it out to her but she ran away and that was close to both of them 🚾 where you could have gone in to get toilet paper ‼️

Since the Manor at St. Jakob was minimized, it hasn't been the same shopping experience. Let's wait for the renovation.

There is no longer a Manor for shopping as there was before the renovation and the Manor food is missing enormously. Manor Basel is far too far and complicated for shopping. That's really a pity....

Pleasant for shopping, large selection. The minus is that when there are around 7-9 customers at the checkout, no one cares and a second checkout opens. So you stand in line for another 10 minutes to pay😒

What can I say, a department store like many. A waitress\cashier was overwhelmed during COVID-19.

Well-stocked department store with a sufficient range. Nothing for the small wallet. Unfortunately, it's a bit erratic and the sales staff could be a bit more motivated. Over all... OK.

Great shop, with good quality products and often has good deals. Sadly the Manor Foods part is now closed (permanently).

It is being converted into a co-op and is currently closed

...not just Manor, you will find many other shops in St. Jakob. Food, small snacks, clothes, sports, household... just everything. This shopping center is large, accessible by public transport (tram 14, bus 36...) and, if the weather is not nice, is ideal because you can visit the 3 floors in peace and quiet without getting wet. Recommended

Last Tuesday afternoon I was in the Manor and was shocked to see a friendly saleswoman, who was assisting two gentlemen with clothing shopping, being bossed around by a member of staff. The way this employee spoke to the saleswoman didn't make a good impression on me as a customer at all and I really felt sorry for this saleswoman.

Want to get Playmobil for the kids at the store. According to the website, the item should still be available. Unfortunately this was not the case. Once I found someone on staff I was able to order the item. When I asked if I could have the item delivered directly to my home, I was told that this would cost additional money. Even though the order was placed on the same site as all other customers. If I had done this from home, it would have been free of shipping costs. So I had this delivered to the store. This should last a week. Order online and should arrive at home the next day. When I didn't hear anything after a week, I contacted you and was told that my order had arrived several days ago. Unfortunately I haven't received any message.

Unfortunately, the Manor is no longer what it once was. Namely a department store at a rather upscale level with decent service. Especially in St. Jakob Park, I am constantly annoyed by the staff, who sometimes ignore the customers, prefer to chat among themselves and then don't even speak German properly. It's a shame that there don't seem to be enough qualified salespeople with knowledge of Swiss German anymore. So it's not a shopping experience and it's not surprising if the sales are no longer right. The range would still be good.

Food selection is good, although a bit overpriced on certain products. When you buy clothes, you are not allowed to take the clothes rack with you, even though the clothes are not that cheap. This is very strange to me.

The restaurant actually closes at 3 p.m. No coffee or cake during/after shopping. I think closed restaurants in shopping centers are bad.

Good product selection, but poor pricing, unfriendly, overworked staff, if any. As a customer you often feel lost. Manor food often tastes very fishy.

Get great advice! The saleswoman, Ms. N.De Stefanis, tried very hard to find something suitable for me. Although I always had an extra request, she supported me with full patience and motivation. I know where I will make my next purchase. Can only recommend the men's department!

Unfortunately, the food in the Manor is overpriced. You only buy the bare essentials. It doesn't surprise me that there were hardly any people in the store. It's a shame, the quality is extremely good but just way too expensive.
