Marie's Deli in Zermatt

We stopped here on our last night in Zermatt, looking for a later night quiet dinner to wrap up our trip. We did not expect this to be the best dinner we had in our two week vacation. The truffle pasta, and steak frites were both incredible. I will dream about this pasta for the rest of my life. We also had crème brûlée and the hot chocolate, both blew our mind. Ronny was such a fun and engaging server who made us feel valued and right at home. It was an incredible experience.

I recently had dinner at Marie's Deli with a group of five, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The service we received was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere of the restaurant struck the perfect balance between casual and elegant, creating a comfortable dining environment. As for the food, everything on the menu was prepared to perfection, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Whether you're visiting the town or staying at the resort, I highly recommend Marie's Deli as a must-visit dining spot.

Amazing food! BEST steak I have ever had including all the NYC steakhouses I’ve tried. This is one of the few restaurants open 7 days a week…other restaurants mostly open from wednesday…we just came across this restaurant and we’re so so happy we tried it out. -They brought us a small portion of penne with cheese that seemed as leftover and they called it amouse bouche. -The cheese platter was described to have local cheeses and chutney. It is also very much needs a luggage room because there was luggage strewn about everywhere. Service: There was one server who could best be rated as insufferable that made an excellent wine recommendation. Excellent food , excellent service . We are a family with 2 children. We came for brunch but we had also lunch. Very friendly stuff . A small, beautiful, quiet place with an exceptional menu .
