Marina Garden Lounge in Lac Léman (VD)

Beautiful, but not at all tasty. We waited at least 30 minutes for dessert. As a result, they brought a piece of sponge cake with chocolate cream on top(

The beer is not good, because without gas. The waitress says that’s how it is and that we have to be content with it. The service is unprofessional. Too bad, because a few years ago, the service was top notch.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Marina Garden Lounge inside Grand Hôtel du Lac. Beautiful setting with view on the lake either from the pergola or from the terrace (weather allowing). Attentive staff. Food is well curated, tasty and of good standard. A bit overpriced though (CHF 88 per person for appetizer, main, fruit juice and tea). To be noted no brunch is available momentarily.
