Enjoyed a beer at the British Beer Shop!

A restaurant with stable quality and seasonal menus for years. The spring menu includes asparagus and wild garlic offerings. The asparagus was fresh and crunchy. Moules et fîtes always good and fresh. Tastes as it should. Espresso is very tasty. Unfortunately, the hall is very loud when there are many guests. Sitting outside in summer is recommended. If the restaurant is busy, the service is quickly overwhelmed and brings the starter and main course together.

Good food, fair prices, friendly service, but a bit slow and loud as it's quite busy.

Good daily and weekly meals with and without meat. Typically Swiss with a little Italian added. Very friendly service that works quickly.

It's an amazing place for apéro! We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine at the counter (both very good) as well as some cold cuts and cheese. The service was great, and the food was delicious and freshly prepared! The bistrot decoration and marketplace atmosphere adds the final touch to make this a perfect spot. Highly recommended!

I like the restaurant very much. A bit of urban New York style. Nice ambience. Also nice to sit outside in summer. Tafelspitz with salad is my favorite.

People today - this discovery in the middle of Zurich, brilliant. Fantastic service - delicious food, pleasant atmosphere - what more could you want? For 70.- (3 courses with coffee, water) - absolutely fine. I'll be back. Thanks!

Several small traders produce regional products, food from various nationalities in a practical and quick way

By far the best fries I've had so far. I had the “Secret Butcher Cut with Truffle Fries.” Salted just right and the truffle flavor was beautifully balanced – not too strong, not too weak. The beef was wonderfully tender and exactly medium. To finish I had the lemon tart; also very tasty! The service was also very friendly. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with a very good price-performance ratio despite the slightly more expensive prices. If you want to eat well, this is the right place for you!

Moules et frittes with Gewürztraminer are to die for!

Great restaurant. Food is good. But be careful, tables are given away twice in the evening. Therefore less suitable for a cozy evening.

Extremely customer-unfriendly. We wanted to make a reservation for 15 people but then canceled again because we were told that not everyone can pay individually but that they can only make one invoice because otherwise it would have taken them too long just to collect. Sorry, an absolute NO GO. Something like that is not possible and will never be used again or recommended to others. Sorry not sorry

Back after many years at Markthalle and I am very happy about it. Very friendly staff and exceptional food. Both the bone marrow and the deer entrecôte dishes were fantastic! Moules et frites is a must try.

Wonderful location with nice, well lit patio seating. Fantastic service and the food was amazing. Try the bone marrow and the swedish meatballs!! The mussles are also a masterpiece with a hint of spice but not too spicy!

Restaurant right next to the market hall. Nice outdoor ambience with lots of greenery. Delicious food and very fresh. Delicious schnitzel with a dreamy cranberry dip (with vanilla🤫) and the fresh homemade potato salad was fantastic. The service, especially Barbara, was absolutely courteous, friendly and super fast. Price performance for Zurich in the upper segment, but ok. Definitely worth a try.

I think many visitors confuse the Viadukt market hall with the restaurant. The restaurant is only average and totally overpriced for Zurich. The service was very quick and friendly, but the food was really nothing special. It's a shame, because the viaduct has very good local and international products!

Very friendly service, water is always refilled, the bread with the meal was very tasty. The food was delicious and was brought quickly.

Starter boiled marrow was great, boiled meat was unfortunately bland, not tasty. The waiter then brought us minced meat patties, which were delicious. Great gesture.

Very nice restaurant in great surroundings. The location under the viaduct is really cool. The food is great. I had something from the daily menu and was thrilled. The portions are also quite large. Service is very nice and attentive.

Nice atmosphere outside. The food is ok, but in our opinion it has gone down a bit. The Wiener Schnitzel is by no means worth the price of 51.50.-, the breading tastes quite strange.

The selection of lunch menus is large and extensive, there is something for everyone. The portions are quite large and the prices are fair. Very fresh and good products are used. The plates are very nicely prepared. I think the location is great, especially during the day the viaduct arches come into their own. The staff was friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back. I can also recommend the restaurant for dinner. The garden outside is very cozy. There is always a lot going on on the weekends and therefore it is quite loud. If possible, I like to come during the week, then things are quieter.

A very unusual place, the Markthalle restaurant is located under the railway bridge. Zurich's hipsters and celebrities meet here. The atmosphere is totally relaxed and easy. The service staff very attentive and very friendly. I noticed that they all know each other. Everything I ordered and ate was of the best quality. Very very tasty! I'll be back!

every time I return to the Markthalle a pleasant surprise! I like the market-style environment, the menus are always very varied and at excellent prices, great choice of wines, capable and kind staff.

Markthalle restaurant is inside of the Markthalle im Viadukt, a gourmet market with products not for all... Anyway, the restaurant has a great service and plenty of options in the menu. Concerning the atmosphere, I'd like to be on the outdoor table, but as there were smokers nearby I had to choose one inside the market

Interesting location and good dishes. Good welcome for our dog. It's not a romantic place, but it's good. The third beer was brought when we had finished lunch. But we forgive him.

This restaurant benefits from the good ratings that the Markthalle gets, as people seem to be confused between the two. The restaurant staff is nice but the food is extremely expensive for what it is, even by Zurich standards.

Food Court with different opportunities for Lunch. I bought pasta from Mercator. They are freshly made in the Back of the Shop also excellent ingredients in sauces: Very delicious! I loved every bite of it. 5* despite the small portion. On Lunchtime usually not enough Tables for all of the costumers, you will have to take the food outside.

Excellent service and food. I can honestly say I've not had a really good meal out in England for about 4 years, so this was hugely needed! We had the mixed vegetable omelette and the meatballs with mash, plus a mixed salad to start. Giving 5 stars because it really couldn't have been any better!

Funny and interesting place market like, with several options of food and drinks. Everything is good quality and tasty, although also pricey, but that is normal in zurich. Personnel also really nice!

Quickly for lunch at noon. Fast and friendly service. Starter salad and pesto fusili, very good and well cooked. Fair prices. Very pleasant atmosphere and place.

Super nice food court with many different options ranging from Japanese food to Italian dishes and oysters. Definitely one of the best place around the Prime Tower to grab a lunch. Would recommend the fried chicken curry from Tokyo Tapas that is outstanding as well as the pastries from the front bakery.

Great service from reception to payment. Also a cozy atmosphere. The vegetarian dish of the day (baked eggplant) didn't completely convince me in terms of taste.

Gorgeous 🤤 The cappuccino soup takes some getting used to at first, but it tastes better and better with every spoonful. The one main course with dates (vegi), which is also available in the market hall, enjoys an oriental cloth 😉 Or simply the daily noodles, which you can immediately tell are freshly prepared! Top! We had a great evening, with good food and attentive staff. We'll be back ⚒️😎

We were here for lunch and had to wait almost an hour for our food. Incomprehensible for a plate of pasta and a prepared vegetable strudel. There was no response to the bill when we asked the cellar about it.

Very nice place, modern environment and a nice restaurant inside with a very good variety of dishes. I tried "polpette - Hacktäschli", it was really tasty, with meatballs, potatoes and a delicious sauce !!
