Very fine oriental cuisine. Babagenoush is my favorite dish. And hummus, but they have a huge selection of Lebanese food. Land of milk and honey, I would say. I can only recommend the Mar-Mar. Friendly and helpful service there.

Had shawarma, which really wasn't great. Rather totally boring, without taste. And I don't know why after rolling the shawarma a large spoonful of sauce is added on top (and not distributed properly beforehand). But first you have to bite into a big blob of sauce when you start eating. Not tasty.

Absolutely the best middle eastern food I have ever had. And very friendly owner.

I've been there 3 times now and can finally say that this restaurant is only partially suitable for lunch. The sucuk in the flatbread has very little to no taste and is not worth the price of CHF 15. So I can eat the same product close to the HB for almost half the price but with maximum taste! But what really annoys me more is the waiting time. During my visits this was always between 8-13 minutes. The processes are wrong; Completed orders go through several hands again before the customer receives them.

Received the wrong order again. Didn't have the patience to wait again because the staff needed too much time for individual orders

Good lunch option Marmar has fine food at a good price. The staff is friendly and works quickly. I come by once a week and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately there aren't that many tables to sit at. I recommend coming at 11:30 a.m. as the line can get very long at 12 p.m.

Incredibly delicious and authentic mezze! We ordered a mix of cold and warm mezze, received great advice from the very friendly owner, were served warmly and professionally and felt completely at home. Definitely recommended and would love to come back soon! Thanks :)

Fantastic. Great food, great service. I had the vegetarian platter plus grilled halloumi, my friend had the meat platter. All freshly cooked, all eaten with a few beers. I had the baclava and espresso to finish the meal.

Stopped for a drink. We had a Lebanese beer (Almaza) and a coffee. We loved the place: located inside a repurposed industrial building. What we enjoyed the most was the service: great people!

Can't understand the many positive reviews. I ordered the lunch plate with beef for CHF 25. The meat was sour and the consistency ranged from tough to indefinable and pure fat. In addition, a minimalist addition of hummus with inappropriate fries and a helpless salad decoration with an excess of peppermint leaves, which would have been enough for a large portion of tea but were out of place on the plate. I couldn't eat that. Frustrated, I then ate at the nearby Migros takeaway.

Since there weren't many guests (Mon evening), we took enough time for us and explained all the dishes in detail. - Wine was suitable and very tasty - Upon request, a wide variety of dishes were brought to us across the board. Meat, mezze, etc. - The dishes were all very good. Fresh, tasty and authentic - I can also highly recommend the dessert (cardamom cream and baklava) - The restaurant is nicely decorated The evening was an absolute highlight. I will come back.

Wooow! The location is very central (Hardbrücke, Zurich, Puls 5) The food is freshly prepared and is healthy and really heavenly! I couldn't stop eating. The food is prepared in a very modern way but does not lose the traditional spices. The environment is clean and you don't smell like food when you leave the restaurant. The food is prepared with a lot of love. The toilets are very clean and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely book our next company event with Marmar's Catering Service and Marmar has a great photo wall for all Instagram fans! Really worth 5 stars! Keep it up!

The new place to be/know! An absolute insiders' tip in Zurich! The owner is such a warm and welcoming person and I really enjoyed watching him while preparing our food. You can tell that he loves, what he is doing and that he is passionate about his cuisine. The staff is very friendly and mindful. I really loved the interior - it's warm and fancy and they told us they decorated all by themselves. The Falafel-Sandwich, the Mezze-Teller and the homemade lemonade were delicious - the best Falafel I ever had! They will see me again, definitly!!!

Happy to be the first person writing a review for Marmar. I often go Puls 5 to eat at one of the best thai restaurants. But now I have even a better choice, Marmar. It was a coincidence that I walked in today and wanted to check out the menu. Cashier girl was very welcoming, greeted me with a complimentary lemonade. Then I met the owner, then his mother then father. Their hospitality was very impressive, I felt like home. I didn’t hesitate to inform them that I am a foodie and originally Turkish, so I do understand their cuisine well. I sampled many things from their menu with my wife this evening. And I can safely say that, Marmar elegantly joins our nearby favorite kitchens here in Zürich now. We will visit here often. Their Babaganoush is excellent, sarma, dolma, and içli köfte are exceptional. Beef, sucuk and chicken are also. We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like. Sincere compliments to the chef, and the staff. You did it! Update. The only food delivery card allowed on our fridge door because very beautifully designed sign, logo and card. “Good sign is a sign of good business”.
