Very very tasty bakery. Good pastries and also good coffee. Very nice, cozy facility. One point is deducted because the service wasn't friendly. They were all very stressed and let us feel it. If you can hide it, everything is fine.

Good pastry, but we took the Marnin chocolate which is actually milk and cocoa, disappointing also considering that it is the most expensive chocolate on the menu, but it has nothing to do with chocolate.

Whether for breakfast or simply a dessert or fresh bread - you've come to the right place. The amaretti and chocolates are also a hit. Everything is just right from a to z. TOP!

Excellent pastries, particularly delicious the "pineapple pan". It's nice to have breakfast here after a night's work or have an aperitif with friends in the evening. The new rooms inside are also very beautiful.

Yesterday at a birthday, I ate one of your cakes. I was skeptical because I prefer traditional flavors and this cake was pistachio and mascarpone. I don't particularly like pistachios... I had to change my mind; one of the best cakes I've ever eaten, it was a delicacy!

The Marnin bakery and pastry shop is simply exceptional! The products are of the highest quality and taste, and in every bite you can perceive the love and care with which they are produced. The selection of baked goods and desserts is impressive and varied. But what sets this bakery apart is the incredibly friendly and patient staff. Every time I visited, I was warmly welcomed and given the best recommendations. No matter how many questions I had or how long it took me to decide, they always kept a smile and helped me choose the perfect treats. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, you immediately feel the touch of the family. It's a place where you feel welcome and appreciated. Overall, I can only highly recommend Marnin Bakery and Pastry Shop. If you are looking for excellent products and fantastic customer service, this is the place. I've been coming back for many years!

One of my favorite pastry shops, it has never let me down once. Whether it's a birthday, a pastry on Sunday or if you need to make amends, you will surely find the perfect dessert here. A little personal recommendation is the Sacher cake, the best in Ticino in my opinion.

When I arrive in Locarno, my first go is to Marnin. Great products, great aperitifs, great selection/offer, beautiful interior, very friendly service. From my point of view everything is perfect.

Number 1 in Locarno for first-class patisserie

Nice sunny place in front of the church. We were there for Sunday brunch. For a bakery we were disappointed. For around CHF 10 per person we received 2 unrefrigerated portions of butter, 2 pots of raspberry jam, 1 soft croissant and 2 rubbery rolls. Plus at least 1 delicious espresso. Service friendly but lackluster. NOT A RECOMMENDATION IN ANY WAY.

Nice large and comfortable place in the city centre. Rich offer of sweet and savory dishes, the tomato and spinach quiche are very good. The apple pie with apricots was also delicious. Courteous service and correct prices. The toilet, although located in the basement, is clean and well supplied (in any case renovation is planned)

Excellent coffee and pastries, the place for customers has been enlarged, beautiful, furnished with style, but I have the impression that there is a bit of a mess everywhere, I feel sorry for the staff who have to work under these conditions... the toilet is a disgrace for a place that wants to welcome high level customers and the prices are quite high, then you have to go to the cashier, where you wait until someone has time, everything is cramped and you feel out of place. A few things that don't add up....

The new room adjacent to the counter is welcoming and spacious. Toilets reachable only by an impervious staircase... The "dishes" of the day were not mentioned on the paper and no one offered them to us! We discovered them only after ordering some toast (long awaited), seeing them brought to other customers...

Really tragic that when you want a coffee and a piece of cake, you actually don't get the coffee until 20 minutes after the cake. And when I look around and see the completely exasperated looks from the other guests, it's not just me that the service is terribly bad. The two stars are only for the beautiful view.

Dessert selection was great-different variety, all beautiful. I chose the tiramisu and it was delicious! The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely go back again.

I do my weekly bike ride to Cannobio tendero and back…. With a regular stop in Piazzetta Sant Antonio in Locarno Marnin is a guarantee! Very welcoming sweets and top quality coffee…. Attentive, professional and always smiling staff!

It's a shame that the quality of the desserts and what's on offer is overshadowed by poor table service... very slow, often with errors, a truly sad thing.

Nice place, right by the church. But that's all. The place got comfortable, it's too expensive, no pouring, the coffee comes out of a machine, doesn't taste great. So yeah, if you want to waste your time and money, this place serves you well.

There is no better place than a classic for the people of Locarno to go and drink coffee or have breakfast at Marnin. In this period a dear friend of mine exhibited his photographic works, here as well as having an exquisite coffee you can taste the art thanks to the small exhibition inside the restaurant. We entered the pastry shop this afternoon, we came from Lugano specifically for this pastry shop, at the counter there were no customers at the tables yes, behind the counter 4 sellers who were talking about their things, we said hello 3 times and none of them said hello to us , we wanted to get some desserts to take away but none of the ladies asked us if we had chosen, we waited 2 minutes and went out and they didn't even realize we had gone. A store can have the best or worst merchandise, but the difference is made by friendliness and customer service. That's not to say we won't be back. I want to give it another chance. I know the pastry shop and I know it's good. But today we left not with a sweet mouth but with a bitter experience.

Superb place located on a very pleasant little square. Everything we tasted was delicious: fresh squeezed fruit juice, apricot tart, pastries, caffee freddo and especially the "cioccolata Marnin"!! Not to be missed, absolutely fabulous. In addition, very friendly staff (manager).

The “AMARETTI BIANCHI” from “MARNIN” are simply divine! 🙏😇 And anyone who has already tasted them knows what I'm talking about. 😋 The 200 gram pack is available for CHF 14.00. 👍 They are available in Ascona, the shop is on the lake promenade in front of the Castello, and in Locarno's beautiful old town, at Piazza Sant'Antonio! But be careful, they can be addictive. 😂 There are also many other delicacies available in both shops! For example at Easter, the works of art made from chocolate and marzipan. 🤩 The shop in Locarno's old town has a large indoor area and beautiful outdoor seating on Piazza Sant'Antonio, where you are served by friendly employees. 👍👍😎

This small cafe-pastry shop is located in a small square in the center of Locarno. We had a very delicious affogato (coffee and vanilla ice cream) and some sandwiches. Very good option for a light meal. The very pleasant service and the charming terrace, next to a fountain and surrounded by the aroma of mandarin trees in bloom
