Very nice place, has choices for all tastes (a lot of vegan ones too)

Delicious breakfast with fresh stuffed croissants and latte macchiato. The location is very nice and the service is friendly. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m., but breakfast toast is only served from 8 a.m.

Nice place, there are also vegan and vegetarian options, very friendly staff. Advised!

Ideal for aperitifs, very characteristic

Probably nice for a coffee but food prices are really high. Dish of the day suggestions just shy of chf30 which is really expensive (even coming from Geneva), and the food is nothing to rave about. If you’re not on the terrace, and have a table inside, beware of being squashed between the bar and a shelf 😒, so you don’t even get the nice decor). Wouldn’t recommend, nor go back.

📝 Cute bar/ coffee place in the center of Lugano with a low-key atmosphere. Service was very good but prices were in my view too high for Lugano: on par with Zurich. ☕ We had cappuccino, some fresh juices and croissants. All had high quality. 📍 Just two minutes away from Lugano's main square and the lake: location couldn't be better.

Stylish, confortable with a very nice atmosphere. Coffee and juice delicious. The avocado toast had too much bread, just a big toast with avocado cream and egg, no green salad.

We arrived before the brunch menu started (at 11am), but the staff was friendly, spoke English well, and we're willing to serve us drinks as we waited. We got tostates to share, but the real highlight of the meal was the coffee.

Even though my sister and I ate quite well, we weren't 100% convinced. Mainly because of the rather... bad service... you have to admit. It doesn't really make you want to order when a waiter scolds you (especially given the price of the menu). Despite everything, we did well to have surprising dishes which offered us quite a few flavors (and it's especially nice to eat outside with the greenery positioned).

We had a great time. Even though we got the wrong orders at first the food and great atmosphere made up for it easily. I would recommend the pistachio croissant.

Delicious cocktail at 17fr served with two miserable chips, 2 olives and 4 taralli... We're not there!

The food was ok, but very expensive. 27CHF for a salad bowl and no bread. Very weak. The friendliness of the staff can also be improved. Nice concept and location, but unfortunately poorly implemented.

Mauri Concept is located in the heart of Lugano. The place is very welcoming where it is possible to have excellent breakfasts and tasty lunches. (the Sunday Brunch is excellent). The space is spread over several areas, in addition to catering you will find a part intended for sales, a men's and women's hairdresser and beauty salon. This makes Mauri Concept a unique place. Thanks to all the staff who, with their kindness and professionalism, make their customers feel at ease. Prices in line with the area and services.

The funniest thing is this: looking around you see people who seem to have afforded some nice places&meals and yet they are ok with spending a lot of money on a dull place with mediocre food ( especially because of the very low quality ingredients)

great service, I tried the coffees: very good. the only problem is the higher cost of the standard. but you can understand it as it is a very nice bar in the center of Lugano. really very kind, polite and helpful waiters. the place is well-kept and harmonious.

Avoid the restaurant, the price is absolutely miserable and the waiting time is unbearable

The place looks nice, but unfortunately the service is of low quality and similarly for the food (particularly if you take into account the price, quite expensive in my opinion). In case you look for a drink only, might work, otherwise I would suggest you take advantage of one of the many other restaurants in the vicinity.

Definitely a very nice place where you can also decide to eat on the veranda. Very quiet place. Speaking of the cuisine, in my opinion just enough for the costs, the hamburger is discreet but only because the meat, if enjoyed separately, is good. The problem comes from the other ingredients (cheese, onions) which completely hide the flavor of the meat, a shame. I completely reject the side salad, but here my opinion probably matters little. However, the place is definitely worth a stop for a good coffee or breakfast/brunch in the morning.

Successful coffee / restaurant. Good atmosphere, great music and the guests tend to be young but not only. It also has outdoor seating and you can go straight to the hairdresser in Sous Sol. Great experience in Lugano located near the Funiculaires.

Since I only had an aperitivo, I can't judge the cuisine. The drinks are creative, the staff is very nice, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed.

Got a quick snack and drink. Waiter was helpful to explain in english and food was yummy! Cute indoor dining as well.

Sunday breakfast to forget. 73chf thrown away plus a terrible figure with my friends from Zurich, micro and cold salmon toasts. Savory gipfels really nothing special. But the worst thing is that the cappuccino is practically not even hot. I had been here some time ago on several occasions and it was a completely different experience. Too bad I'll be back

We went for an aperitif and the cocktails made by the "bargirl" were wonderful and balanced, top service and a very pleasant environment. Too bad about the value for money compared to the food, only chips and olives for a 17 chf cocktail...

Fantastic! Exceptional atmosphere, food, coffee and staff

The place is very nice, especially in summer as you can appreciate the outside part. Even though it is in the middle of the city it is grey, the place is decorated well and is very nice. The staff works very well. The menu is not extremely rich but I think it's better that way, the various options are interesting and every time I've gone there for lunch I've really eaten very well. Nice place even just for an aperitif.

After waiting a while to order, the waiter arrives solicited. Nothing to say about how the tea is served, it's a shame that we ask for 2 biscuits which are brought to us after we finish drinking the tea (which however was very good)

Staff were not helpful, did not bother to explain properly in the absence of an English menu. Ordered a hot chocolate drink which tasted really diluted - the worst chocolate drink I’ve ever tasted. The pastry tasted good though - which earned the one star.

Great with your own DJ outside on Saturday evenings. Very cozy and friendly persona. Plus really good music ;)

Admittedly, I was not at all satisfied with the service, and the waiter's reaction when I said something was completely disrespectful. But the restaurant manager, who later cashed in, reacted very professionally and showed that he understood that customer satisfaction is crucial. He reacted very well and I left satisfied at the end. Compliment.

This morning I went for a coffee during the break together with my colleague and a customer, after 20 minutes of waiting we got up, instead of apologizing they told us "if you want, go to the bar next door or elsewhere" obviously without apologizing for the delay. 1 star is too much for rudeness and lack of professionalism! What can I say, seeing the waiters serving (always with a lot of waiting) the tables next to customers who arrived later I find it really bad service! Plus horrible coffee!! We will never set foot in it again!!

Here they prepare the most delicious salmon tartare with avocado, with the addition of seaweed. Mmmm

There are series A customers and series B customers who are not served at the table! They don't even apologize, in fact they even ask you to leave the bar! Obviously I won't set foot again but I'm shocked by the positive reviews 😏

I've been to Mauri several times, the first time I went to drink, beautiful place, smart and youthful. The cocktails are phenomenal, the bartender is really good! He was able to explain everything I asked him about the world of cocktails! Too bad that due to space and service problems (sink) it is impossible to shake. The second time I went down to the beautician, which I discovered existed the first time, the girls are very good and professional! From the beautiful Noemi, to the delicate Alessandra (if I remember correctly), you knew how to pamper me properly! Thank you! Thanks to all the staff. Ps. The room manager should calm down a bit :)

Service: Top! Nice place for an apero - a drink before dinner. We enjoyed the wine so much, that we bought it afterwards in a wine shop. Snacks are brought to the wine and have been replenished. They also tasted nice! Pricy, but for Lugano ok! We cannot comment the food, cause we only drank wine.

The cocktail that was served to me was nothing special; It's probably not a suitable place for having aperitifs, at least not every day. Closing at 6.30pm on Tuesdays, often by 4pm you can no longer order anything to eat. On Thursday we had, as an accompaniment to the drink, some bread with a slice of salami, peanuts, olives and obviously packaged chips, all of low quality. Very loud music, almost disturbing.

Without a doubt one of the best places to have a drink or eat something in Lugano

Not recommended for an aperitif in Lugano: very expensive drinks, a very poor aperitif offered (only two chips and taralli from the supermarket). On the other hand, very helpful staff and excellent music.

Excellent coffee! It's always a pleasure to have a coffee there... it's a shame there aren't any brioche or other gluten-free sweets or those with only spelled flour or vegan... the service is excellent and the staff are always friendly and helpful
