The Trinity Irish Pub in Lugano

I absolutely loved the fish and chips here. Good food, great casual atmosphere, nice staff.

Inside it is reminiscent of classic Irish pubs. I've been going to the pub for years and am always very excited to return! Excellent service, great food and wide variety of beers.

Hearty and tasty meal. The boss is very present, the waitress is helpful and fast, surrounded by a good atmosphere.

The environment is beautiful. Good food. If you love Irish pubs and draft beer, it is highly recommended!

I have to rate you low because I ordered a Pinsa from you and I felt terrible the whole day after... I'm 100% sure that the mozzarella wasn't good because another acquaintance who was there with me tasted my pinsa and also felt sick . The food however is too expensive, starters costing too much. Service and environment ok, but on the food I will never eat there again.

Cozy Irish pub... Billiards, darts, table football, the pub is inconspicuously located at a junction... Music in the background... Prices and service good... It's worth a visit...

I believe the food is usually great. The burgers are even better than most burger restaurants in town. I consider it a bit expensive, especially for starters, but still great. The place is cozy and casual enough. UPDATE: The last time they brought me fried potatoes completely raw.

Good wide choice of beers, from the classic Guinness which cannot be missing in an Irish pub to the more particular ones of own production. The cuisine is good and ranges from grill, to salads, to burgers to make up, to Mexican. The furnishings are very characteristic. You can watch the game, play billiards. It is a good meeting point in Lugano. Average prices.

The place is always welcoming, the food is good, even for lunch, the quiz is fun and the service is friendly and quick.

Tuesday night = quiz = terrible! So, before the managers pounce on me... The facts: We arrive at 9:05, we order something to eat. We were served at 9:40, note that most of the customers had already eaten. Meanwhile the beer is finished. Dinner is also "a bit like that", nothing bad but nothing really good either. The burger is small and bland... A little wilted, if I may say so. The burrito... I've had better. This is a personal evaluation. Imagine if they ask me if I want another beer... I have to ask for it specifically... and when it arrives I've already finished eating (I didn't gorge myself)... With a big smile and an obviously wrong glass. Other topic: They tell us "tonight there's a game": "Cool, maybe we can join in then!" Eh... Unfortunately not... Who knows why we are constantly avoided. We are not ugly, we are not intimidating... Strangely, some kids arrive at the next table: they are explained how the game works, how to play, etc. etc. Like everyone else on the other hand... Except us... But why?!? Note: we even asked the waitress if there was a game and if we could play. Surprise ending: Do you think anyone asked us if it went well or not? Guess what... Nope Summary: Service: insufficient Kitchen: sufficient Atmosphere: nice Game: forget it! We will probably avoid in the future.

Prices too high for the dishes they offer. We ordered burritos and they arrived tasteless and filled only with lettuce and tomato, they looked more like wraps accompanied by chips or nachos, served with salted whipped cream instead of the sour cream described on the menu, and sold at 25.- each! I used to frequent this place, but now it has completely lost quality and the menu has also changed. The offer of beers is good although the glasses could be cleaner.. There are no vegan or vegetarian options and even if you ask they don't make them. I will not return to eat at this place, I recommend it only to have a beer every now and then.

There were seven of us and we ate hamburgers and we all had a beer from a dozen different ones by the glass. Everything was great, served quickly and delicious.

First of all: I go in and they pour the wrong beer. Dirty glasses, I only noticed on the fifth time I frequented the place, usually I already had too high an alcohol level to focus. They fired the competent employee, Spartan we miss you.

Quality has been declining for years. Now they don't even have season tickets to watch Lugano Hockey matches and the portions are getting smaller and smaller.

A bar that opens every day until 2 am, where they have drinks at decent prices and a good atmosphere, what more do you want in Lugano? Trinity is the salvation of many of us who live in Lugano when we want to have a drink or dinner after 10 p.m.

Easy place to sit down and get a few drinks for a reasonable price. Service is quick and to the point and waiters/waitresses are polyglots.

If you are tired of the funereal atmosphere of the Lugano evening viya then Trinity is for you! Place that offers a true Irish pub experience with an interesting choice of beer and spirits. Very nice is the fact that it is all made of wood and there are televisions to watch the matches. The gem is that each beer is served in its original glass, which denotes a very rare but much appreciated attention. The place was 5 stars due to the presence of the smoking game room. Now it has been closed by moving all the games upstairs, sacrificing space to watch the games and losing the real hit which was the smoke inside. On the plus side, they opened up the terrace which until now remained incredibly unusable

Good food. Good beer. Nice venue. It reminds me of distant youth and the Irish Pubs in the center of Rome. It reminds me less of the originals in Dublin where I lived for 4 years... But thank goodness... At least the food is good.

We waited 2 hours for the main course and 1.5 hours for the starter (nachos). The guests who arrived some time after us even received their food before us. When we asked, the waitress told us she didn't know what the reason was. The food came after 2 hours and unfortunately not even as we ordered it. The sauce was deliberately ordered separately for the meat, unfortunately this didn't work either. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the pub.

The pub is nice , but good one of the female server doesn't know basic math. At first instance she gave us 2 francs less in return and even after brought to notice again gave the same change ....

We went on a Wednesday evening and shortly after our arrival the place started to fill up. You can watch TV, play pool and there is a wide selection of beers; I don't dispute that it is a suitable place for social gatherings, but it lacks good food and service. The latter went very badly, we ordered and after an hour had to request the dishes again because they had not yet arrived. After another good half hour they served them to us but one was missing, among other things the salad one which I had to request again and wait for another 15 minutes. When the salad arrived, no condiments were provided and furthermore the dish, instead of having apples as per the menu, was served with chopped oranges with the peel... The nachos accompanied by tasteless sauces and a tortilla with cold beef, frozen industrial chips.

I've been to lots of irish pubs in my life and I do have a pretty good idea what to expect from them. The "Trinity" does not really fulfill that. The decor is very sparse, there's hardly any pictures, no carving in the wood, no decorative lamps, etc. - it really seems to be empty, you don't feel the love for the location. The top floor is also where the kitchen is located, whereas the bar is on ground level. So top floor is not recommended, the smell from the kitchen is pretty heavy. First time we've been there we went just for drinks and it was a really busy night. Working the counter myself from time to time, I know what this means. But still, the barkeeper hardly ever looked at me, despite me sitting directly in front of him on a stool. Ordering drinks was almost impossible and I even had to wait for several minutes untill I could pay for them. Not good. Second night the pub's been much more quiet, which was alright for us, so the service was better. Unfortunately the food was lacking behind. While looking quite tasty, the meat in the burgers was dry, most likely due to the quality of the meat, because it was not overcooked. But it wasn't juicy, which was a real shame. In addition, the fries aren't homemade, but at least they were crispy. You can't save the ambience without investing a lot of cash. But you could surely improve the meat and maybe get a second barkeeper for a busy night, because the experience was not great. My only reason of considering to re-visit, would be the beer, 'cause the selection is quite nice.

Ordinato un burger tramite divoora. Se questo è un Irish Pub, non hanno mai visto i burger degli Irish pub. Pane che non c'entra nulla e non si usa per i burger, freddo e che si spezza a prenderlo in mano, carne cruda, senza cipolle, la salsa tartara!!!! Pazzesco. Soldi buttati.
