Nightclub in zurich with a variety of music events and acts (seen Maddix and K-Motionz), been there a couple of times and had great time - friendly crowd and staff which is rare in a nightclub, plenty of space to dance and reasonable priced tickets.

Cool club, unfortunately the music is massively too loud, just about a comfortable volume with oropax in your ears...

Google shows the close at 5a.m. but everyone was kicked out at 4:15a.m. Additionally, the body guards were very rude, not the best customer service in zh

Nice music, nice location. But shortly after 3 a.m. the lights were turned on and everyone was kicked out of the club, even though the event was supposed to last until 5 a.m. I spoke to Securitas, who told me it was to save personnel costs because there weren't enough people in the club. An absolute disgrace!

Event was supposed to end at 5am but they kicked us out at 3am. They said the reason was because there were too few people, but that sounds like their problem.

I shouldn't be in bed at 4:30 writing Google reviews. Otherwise, I never write reviews unless I had a particularly good or particularly bad experience. Unfortunately, my unique experience in this club belongs to the latter. On the website and on the ticket it was stated that the event ('departure') lasts until 05:00. A relatively early end for this style of music (techno) and Zurich. At around 3:20, when the mood is actually at its best, the lights came on and we were told to get out of the club. Please note that there were still around 20 - 30 people present at this point. That's not a large number given the size of the club, but it still raises the question of why the organizer decided to end the event early. It's unfortunate because both club staff, DJs and the audience were pleasant. With an entry price of 18 (early bird) to 25 (box office), this is in the rather cheaper price segment in Zurich on this day of the week (Saturday) and time of year, but it is still rather unfortunate to be thrown out so early. Especially since the drink prices are at the usual level for Zurich. I'd rather go to other clubs in Zurich and be sure that the event will go on until the announced time or beyond, even if a maximum of 5 people are still dancing at 5 a.m. But really, friendly and well-positioned Securitas and employees, which are the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1.

Good sound system, outstanding visuals, various offerings (Techno, DnB, EDM, 2000s, Goa), current and relevant DJs, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff... definitely the club in Zurich that is doing everything right at the moment! I hope it will stay with us for a long time.

Yesterday there were few visitors from the start (around 30-40) and shortly before 3:00 a.m. the lights went on and the visitors had to leave the club. When asked more precisely why, they said there weren't enough visitors. It's a shame, because the entrance fee and the drinks cost enough that it's not okay to just stop early.

0/10 decided last minute not to go despite having a ticket. I am treating this as a concert venue not a club. I was thrilled when Sub Focus was announced and immediately bought a ticket. For someone who is not a night owl 23:00 is already late but still manageable. But then on the day of the event Mäx announces that the main act does not play until 01:30... I am sorry, but when I buy a ticket for Friday I want the main act to play on Friday.

Worst club I've seen in a long time, 20 francs to enter, lights turned on at 1 a.m. and started violently dragging people out at 2 o'clock at the latest, props to the security and the DJ!!

I was there on May 17th, 2023 when Maddix came... Music-wise everything was good. But I would like to mention two negative things: - When security apparently had to intervene because of a mob, they walked through the uninvolved crowd quite recklessly. A security guard stood on my ankle with full force... the skin was gone and the ankle was blue... Luckily, last August I got the plate and the screws (one of them was protruding and annoying) that I had in after breaking a bone. already removed. Otherwise it would most likely have bled... - The depot for the drinks, which were expensive anyway, was never refunded/adjusted to the next drink.

We came for a Vini Vici show at 12.15am and had no problem with lines. Vini Vici showed up at 2.30am, for those interested in set times.

My first club experience and to this day my favorite club :) The staff is super friendly and you can literally see their passion! They also react quickly if someone is too drunk. I personally don't really understand the negative criticism towards the security. The music and the people are great there! Since the first club experience was so great, it has now become a weekly experience🥳 The brand/clothes also look very special in a positive way (!)! Always happy to go there.

Very, very great store with very nice and friendly staff. Was a bit raven there, event “broken with style”. Atmosphere was very cool, as was the facility. The audience was diverse and the general vibe was impeccable. I can recommend this store to anyone without hesitation. Keep it up !

25 CHF for entry is reasonable for a good club. However, you should think twice about this store whether you want to go somewhere else. There are long queues everywhere (bar, entrance and cloakroom) and on the dance floor your organs will be squeezed out of your body because it is so crowded. To top it off, one of us was thrown a glass by the audience, which security didn't scratch until 3 hours later. But the worst is the DJ. I can stay home for a bass-boosted Spotify playlist. I'm definitely not coming back!

Ask for a vodka lemon they give you water then you go to complain and they give you more water, then you get kicked out for no reason with the guy at the lookout who was also arrogant

I would like to say about the VINI VICI night on May 14th, 2022 that it was the hottest club experience I've ever had, not everything was 100% perfectly clear, the queue at the entrance moved slowly, it also took a while to get to the cloakroom and Especially at the bar there should be more employees. Went to Club Mäxx for the first time yesterday. We really enjoyed it and the evening was very relaxed. The bar staff were all very quick and nice. And a big compliment to Security: very helpful and friendly and you felt really safe. If something happened you could go straight to them. Keep it up 👍

However, last weekend I was kicked out of the club for no reason and a forbidden handle was used to remove me from the club. I drove from Tyrol (Austria) to Zurich at the weekend for the Worakls/Mark Höffen performance at Mäx. That was my first visit to Mäx. The tickets were initially easy to buy in advance. After I wasn't sure whether I would make it after work on time due to train cancellations etc., I wrote to the Mäx team on social media. They answered me immediately and not only sent the requested information about the timetable, but also wrote unsolicited information about mobile data roaming, local transport connections, the weather, etc. to make my journey easier. That's why I arrived quite relaxed at the specified peak times and didn't wait in line for more than five minutes. The first security employee checked the 3Gs and the registrations, another employee took care of the entrance tickets and a second security employee checked bags. In my opinion, the process was organized sensibly and I had the feeling that everyone involved tried to do their job seriously and in a friendly manner. The line at the cloakroom was very long, but I was able to hand in my backpack and jacket within ten minutes. Before that, I was able to relax and get a drink at the bar. The performances by Worakls & Antonin Winter and Mark Höffen were excellent as always. On the dance floor itself, I found the screens/displays very nice and the sound system very good. There is nothing like that in Tyrol. The sound was also very pleasant in the front row and I didn't need my earplugs plugged in. I didn't spend much time at the bar because I didn't want to miss anything from the performance, but I hardly had to wait there either and the bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. I can't say anything about the prices because I'm not from the area and haven't consumed too many different things. The audience that evening felt very young; Everyone was very friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere around me. I waited less than five minutes after the performance to get my things from the dressing room. Overall, I got a very positive impression of the club, the organization and the team. That was my first visit to Mäx, but I didn't notice any alcohol/drug corpses or fights that evening. I have just read a few reviews here and I definitely don't want to deny these visitors' experiences, but I can only report positive things after my visit. I find that things can escalate quickly, especially when celebrating, and that after a bad experience it is often difficult to report on it constructively or objectively. Nevertheless, I have the feeling that the Mäx team is ready to accept criticism and wants to accommodate visitors. I had the impression that the well-being and safety of the visitors was important to them. For me the trip was definitely worth it. Bonus: I would also note that the club was very clean. I noticed that my white sneakers were even cleaner after going to the club than before. Actually a mini miracle after a techno/house event.

Extremely poorly organized. It took several hours to even get in and even more hours just to drop off our things in the cloakroom and then pick them up again later. It took the cloakroom staff about 10 minutes just to return ONE person's items. It took forever. Extreme pushing and pushing of the guests. There was zero control from security. Music was ok, but not spectacular. Won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, typically too few people are hired and still far too expensive. Partyed for 3 hours and queued for 3 hours. The DJ was so bad, he should have helped out in the dressing room.

Worst club there is, unfriendly staff and a 50 minute wait to get our backpacks back.

With advance ticket sales we stood outside for 2 hours. There was already chaos there. Bouncers preferred flirting to doing their jobs. Then we had to queue for another 30 minutes at the cloakroom and the worst part was to pick up the jacket! (Almost 2 hour wait) Anyone who is so disorganized and understaffed shouldn't run a club!

The evening started with us queuing for almost 2 hours, even though we had already bought our tickets online. The employees were too overwhelmed and seemed very unprofessional in all aspects. The wardrobe was by far even worse organized than the Swiss military! (You have to manage that...) The dance floor was very small compared to other clubs and there were several heated situations in which the security simply watched. Mosh pits were created by the DJ's announcements, which were broken up by security a short time later. It cannot be the case that if the club and the DJ miscommunicate, the club visitors have to suffer with being expelled from the “club”. When you wanted to get the jackets and bags from the cloakroom, you had to expect another 1 ½ hours because certain jackets and bags had disappeared and others had been swapped. The female club visitors among themselves put their small bags in their friend's big bag and handed them over. When they returned them from the cloakroom they had two too many bags from strangers. In the outside area of ​​the club you could see some people who weren't feeling well, but no one cared because the club already had the money and they showed their true colors. Overall, this was the worst party and the worst club (if you want to call it that) in the entire canton of Zurich! PS: If people are annoyed in the queue for 2 hours, you don't have to take a photo of us and sell it on social media as if it were the best club in ZH.

Generous space for a club. However, the acoustics weren't that great...

Absolutely poorly organized. We had to wait in line for ages and were massively squeezed. Finally it became too much for us and we went to another club. Why you couldn't buy at least some of the tickets online is a mystery to me. The security was very aggressive and only fueled the already tense atmosphere. I didn't feel well.

Extremely bad organization. We got there at 10 a.m. to avoid long waits and a line. We still experienced the worst snake of our lives. It took 2 hours to get in. We were extremely pressed together and we felt very uncomfortable. Everyone was pushing. They could have gotten around this easily if they had put up bars so there was an orderly line. I don't know if they were too incompetent or if they just didn't care.

Absolutely disappointing customer service. Refund requests are simply ignored, not even answered. Cannot attend a postponed concert and have placed a friendly request. The customer doesn't seem to be important here, you are simply left standing. Other organizers provide proactive information and offer fair deals. Here they just seem to be out for money and show no interest in a good relationship with the guest. Accordingly, I will avoid this venue in the future.

Sometimes overcrowded otherwise great

Lounge is just something, value for money is not right. Too many men in the club and the outside area is not covered and it is a complete disaster. There is a small roof, but there is almost 5m² of space for a maximum of 15 people (lift size) Music is well... The DJ changes the song too often, I don't think any tracks were played to the end that evening. Max. title length was 1.00 min. Bad I didn't find anything positive about the club.

Soolking's concert was today, February 8th, 2020. According to the information, the concert should start at 11:00 p.m.! Now we got to the door opening and the planned concert on time at 11 p.m., we've been waiting for Soolking since 11 p.m.!!! And now it's 2:00 a.m. and he still hasn't shown up!! I think it's an absolute cheek for such a singer who is not so big and famous to make us wait for so long (2 hours)!!!! And the best? He only played 3 songs and then he said goodbye...! Absolute cheekiness. Where there was also a problem was the friendliness of Securytas! Very very unfriendly!

MÄX is my absolute favorite! Always have great acts in the house. In addition to the great acts, there are also great parties like Wildlife, which is a must! I can only recommend!
