The McDonalds has lost a lot of its former charm because the entrance is already full of people hanging around and congesting everything. If you still have to deal with the crammed mountain of rubbish, then at most it's "to take away". You can forget about the upper, uncleaned floors. Too bad.

I was at the McDonald's in Thun today at 4:40 p.m. and was very disappointed. I had to wait almost 5 minutes to pay at the checkout. The lady could hardly speak German and asked me to give her numbers on the ticket machine. Then I had to wait almost 15 minutes with my children for 2 happy meals Wait and when they finally came the lids of the drinks weren't in good condition so my son spilled half of his cola, the fries and chicken nuggets were almost cold and the conditions were stressful and very unfriendly and the floor and tables were so dirty I had to clean the table first before we could sit down and the benches weren't clean and we couldn't use the toilet because there were so many people standing in line and those who came out said it was dirty, so it was a very big disappointment today.

I only drank coffee, but it was really tasty. The toilet leaves a lot to be desired! It didn't have toilet paper and it wasn't very clean either.

Today we noticed how two customers were completely shouted at and threatened with the police and finally thrown out. From what we heard, the customers were right but the manager didn't want to see that... so she threatened to call the police and shouted throughout the store... which of course made the visit extremely unpleasant. Otherwise the food is good.

Rarely eat there. Every now and then we eat and drink alone or with our son when we are in the city. I find the Mac rather expensive.

Despite many bad Google reviews, I went to McDonald's in Thun today. I didn't have to wait long at all for my order and the Big Mac and fries were freshly prepared and hot.

McDonald's has been with me for decades and I am shocked to see that less and less attention is paid to hygiene and cleanliness. The four of us went to Mc Donalds in Bälliz 22 in Thun. The first floor was closed despite there being enough customers and this was probably only due to the fact that service would otherwise have to be served here. There was no soap in the toilets, neither men's nor women's, nor in the wheelchair accessible toilet. The floor in the toilets and the toilets themselves were, to put it bluntly, disgusting and no matter what you touch it sticks. How is hygiene in the kitchen supposed to work if those responsible neither check the basics nor have any interest in them? I don't suppose all the toilets ran out of soap at the same time? When asked about the situation, more than one employee did not know where the refill containers were. There is probably also a deficit in training here. The dreary entrance area and the "1 floor closed" board handwritten in felt-tip pen create an unfriendly atmosphere. With a now hefty price of CHF 16 for a Big Tasty Menu with a bun that's too small since Covid19, you have to think about whether you still need it. Will the larger buns actually return or will at least the price and the rest of the burger be adjusted? The big patty in the small bun really doesn't have to be there.

Today I visited the McDonald's in Thun and had an extremely disappointing service experience. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. I had to order from the self-service machine, which in itself wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have poor eyesight. The food was packaged so clumsily that the drinks in the bag leaked. There was no "thank you", no goodbye - nothing.

Me and my friend waited 55 minutes for our food. After 20 minutes we walked down to ask and they said they would do something. After another 10 they said it will come and that they had a lot of orders. 70 other orders were served in this time when we finally said just give us the food and made them give it to us resentfully. Horrible service. Never going to this mcdonald’s again

The food is that of any McDonald's, with some new features that we don't have in Spain and that are interesting to try, but otherwise the same. The restaurant is very clean. It is spread over three floors. The first one you enter, where you find the automatic checkouts to place your order and that they serve you at a table no matter what, if it is to eat there, a ground floor where the bathrooms are (you have to go with the ticket for the that you have consumed, since the doors have a code to open and you only have it if you have bought something), and an upstairs with a large space of tables, another automatic checkout to order and a children's area, like chikipark, to play . The different thing for us, that on one side of where these tables are facing the river and it is nice to eat with those views, as well as entertaining, we were there in the month of July and people bathe in the river by jumping off the bridges and letting themselves go with the flow... It was very curious to see and with the warmth it was there I wanted to try it🏊‍♀️ At the time we went 2pm there were almost no people. Ah!! It is a McDonalds without parking because it is in the very center. We were traveling by car and we left it in a paid parking lot nearby, because the little parking there is on the streets is all paid, has parking meters and only accepts Swiss francs, no cards or euros.

So it's best to practice layering the MCTasty again. Otherwise just tiptop standard as you know and love it :)

In Switzerland everything is perfect

The food is what it could be expected at this kind of fast food restaurant. Not terrible nor excellent. Interior is well designed and the arrangement of seats and tables gives everyone enough space. On the second floor there is a space with a very nice view of the river Aar.

We were not given 20 chicken nuggets. When we pointed this out, a very unsympathetic employee threatened us with the police. I don't recommend it...

A normal McDonald's on the main shopping street (Bälliz) in Thun. No more and no less. Waiting times are sometimes a bit too long when things are a little busier.

If you want to get involved in bad service, bad food and arguments with employees, then this is the place for you. You MUST order at the terminal but pay at the checkout, for whatever reason, it should be possible. Fortunately, this is not the case at every branch.

My MC Flurri Oreo was forgotten

Service is very bad. I always only order ice cream (McFlorry). It's made immediately and then sits on the counter in the warm kitchen for 10 to 15 minutes until it's my turn! Every time I have to ask if I could get my ice cream. And not once did I hear an apology! Just milkshake instead of ice cream!

Ordered and waited 1.5 hours.. suddenly I am informed via APP that the courier has completed his order. However, I didn't receive anything. When we asked the branch they just said: There's nothing we can do about it. You have to ask the courier. When I asked to send a new courier because you could still see my order in the system, they smiled and said no.

The food is good like other McDonalds restaurant. But the manager in Thun is very, very unfriendly. Is very annoyed with customers. I informed an employee that I did not receive a receipt and that I had even paid. She ignored me. Afterwards the manager calls the number 2-3 times in an angry voice. I went to him and told him that it might be mine, but I didn't get a number. He answered me very rudely that I had to report it and didn't want to let me finish. I hope he changes!

The food is normal McDonald's food but the view of the arre is unique. The toilets are the biggest snot the toilets are almost falling apart.

Me and my colleague went towards McDonalds at 11pm looking for food. Everything had been closed for an hour, including the McDonalds. Disappointed, we stood in front of the door of the McDonald's until an employee came and we asked if he had anything to eat. We said we would be satisfied with a roll. He would see what else he has. He came back with a full bag of hot apple turnovers. For me personally, employee of the month and savior of the evening. 5 Stars
