McDonald's in Basel

The waitress (the Asian woman who works from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on March 27th, 2024) had absolutely no desire to serve the guests. She just sat at the table with her compatriots and had fun... and the customers had to wait at least 5 minutes... they had been talking very loudly for a long time. Was very unpleasant and disturbing. She also spoke very loudly in her local language.

Coffee like Braun water. Only 1 person for service. Never comeback to here.

The beef was the exactly opposite of my bed at a very scary thunderstorm night. Also for someone that doesn't know French, it as difficult as me trying to laugh after a very bad joke.

The staff is very friendly, the place is in a very central location.

In all large European cities and sometimes restaurants on the highway, they have a corner for children and some kind of animation. There is absolutely nothing here! Are children welcome?

Fortunately the service was fast and no errors in the order for one of the most expensive McDonald's in the world 😨😨😨

I've never had such a bad cheeseburger at McDonald's. Meat totally dried out, cold and had been sitting around for a long time. Same story with my daughter. No sign of fresh. It was the first time in the branch on the market square. No one was interested. View of the town hall is very nice, but it doesn't make the burger any better. Branch on Rebgasse has a different level.

In the historic center of the beautiful city of Basel there are several McDonald's but this is the most central one. On the ground floor there is the McCafè while on the first floor (there is no lift) you can eat. The place is quite large and has a very nice view of the square. The staff is courteous and helpful

I recommend. Classic McDonald's, but with a great view of the town hall. It is worth the visit and the view of the square.

Staff in this place are really disgusting. They are real antisemitic. I am a citizen of Israel and yesterday, 11.10.2023 I was refused to get served and helped there after that manager found out that I am an Israeli. They threw me out. Jews never enter this place. While the whole of Europe supports Israel during the heinous attack, while the Israeli flag flies in front of this McDonald's in Basel city hall - the disgusting employees of this establishment deport an Israeli citizen, refuse service and assistance. This place is not for idiots.

The new branch manager (man) He actually shouted at her very boldly towards an employee in front of everyone. Since the branch on the market square was still closed on the app, I couldn't activate an offer, his comment was order normal, come back tomorrow! He answered in a very cheeky and annoyed manner.

The food is actually really delicious here and I visit often. All personnel are very courteous and friendly. Facilities are spotlessly clean and well organised. However: I had to leave a review this time because it is the third time in a month that an item has been missing from my order. I always order for takeaway and have never felt a need to open the bag and check everything. But after a burger has been missed twice and today a cookie, I advise everyone to check their order upon collection. I have not felt it worth while to go back and complain.

The window seats on the second floor directly face the city hall and can see the entire city hall and square.

A more limited menu than in the UK . Service was fine though with just one grilling & frying and the other front of house it was a good job the restaurant was quiet. Food was served quickly and was tasty. Why does my BigMac always fall apart with lettuce spraying everywhere? Toilets were entered by a 4 digit code and the men's toilets were clean, tidy & well appointed.

It's just the Mc at the bar... There's always a lack of space but it's really a shame 💪👌👍

Good location for a mcdonald. On the ground floor, there is the mac café, with a few tables outside. And on the first floor, there is the normal restaurant, with a superb view of the town hall. It's 10.36am, and it's quiet, clean and no music. Great, isn't it?

Terrible experience with the food. The burgers were over cooked and the brad used was the standard small burger brand on a Big Tasty.

I waited 20 minutes for an apple turnover and brought this up. She said it was coming soon but I had to wait 20 minutes until I came back to the front.

McDonald's is like McDonald's, but the biggest advantage is the location - on the Town Hall Square with a beautiful view of the Basel Town Hall. It's worth taking at least some tea or coffee and admiring the view

The classic Mc Donald. A place on two floors (above sandwiches under the bar) a bit small, if there is confusion it is difficult to move around with the stroller.
