Messidor in Lutry

Always great to come for the food and service but the new dark hair lady serving is not matching with the expectancy of good good service. The blond lady is top top and thanks God keeps the place in good order and good vibes.

Messidor is a gem. Their pastries and sandwiches are incredible. And I really mean incredible. Surrounding bakeries simply don’t come close. Coffee is fantastic as well.

Top products and the service is always very friendly and accommodating, especially with the lady with light eyes, who I see most often. Beautiful atmosphere, thank you for your warm welcome.

I think the comments below are "purchased" and somewhat fictitious. Very expensive products, good, but very expensive, but the service not at all up to par, nor the place not very welcoming. A significant effort in reception would be desirable, both from the staff and the environment, starting with removing the horrible Plexiglas plate.

Every year when I come to Lutry to see family for the holidays, I eat their pâté, one of the best eaten in the region. The breads and cakes are also excellent. We see the light on at 4 a.m. where they make bread. Increasingly rare, this profession of baker is done in tradition. And the croissants are Parisian style. Well done

I ordered the Messidor for a birthday and I am happy with the result. The cake was both light and delicious, and I can only recommend it.

We ordered 2 cakes for the baptism of 2 children and we were delighted as were all our guests! The pastry chef is very kind and listens to your desires. The cakes are customizable, magnificent and very good: mousse, 1-2 inserts, biscuit and color of icing of your choice. I highly recommend and will definitely return!

There is no better bakery, pastry shop or confectionery than Messidor. Honestly, everything I tasted was always better than an identical product that you can find elsewhere. Special mention for the chicken curry sandwich, the corn bread, the Ticino bread, the exotic passion fruit cake, the carac, the croissants etc… in short, everything is so delicious! A huge congratulations and thank you!

Delicious ! Whether it's breakfast, sandwiches or dessert, it's a treat! It has almost become a tradition to go there with friends or family! And in summer they make their Sicilian granita accompanied by the famous brioche that takes us on a journey! A smile is always there at Messidor!

Frankly the pastries are top notch, the bread is very good but why every time I visit this place I hear the whining from the staff: “we have too many people, we start early, I’m looking forward to getting out” heard all that in ten minutes today. Perhaps the staff should realize that it is largely because there are customers that there is a salary at the end of the month.

I'm a regular here in winter because I swim in Lutry. Very practical for warming up. Good pastries, beautifully presented. I loved the decoration with the big teddy bears last year. Will they come back? Only downside: only one employee (!!!) - efficient and very kind - but she doesn't have the gift of ubiquity... In the other Tea-rooms of this standing, they are at least 2, sometimes 3.

Tasty pastries tucked away beside a Coop. The sandwiches are quite good and the pistachio swirl pastry is also a nice treat - a bit of crunchiness to compliment the fluffy inside. Worth a trip if you need a stop on from the Lavaux wine trail.

The croissants are in the top 3 of the best croissants in Lausanne and its suburbs. They are REALLY worth the detour. Really a shame that this excellent bakery is not located anywhere other than a supermarket. If the bosses are reading me: a small branch, with 2-3 tables, in a charming place this time, doesn't that tempt you?

Tea room with super friendly waitresses. The breads, sandwiches and pastries are delicious and the desserts are as beautiful for the eyes as they are good for the taste buds! Yesterday I tasted the homemade vegetarian lasagna: a real treat, with that little taste of coming back for more. Besides, I will come back!
