The food was brilliantly flexible when ordering. I wanted more vegetables and that wasn't a problem. The fact that there was enough choice of vegetables was great 👍we were all very satisfied. Only the waiting time was a bit long. But since we were a group and didn't have any stress there wasn't a problem. We will be back. D. wepfer

Wednesday the meat tiger is great!

The Cordon Bleu is a dream! It is offered in 3 sizes. I had the “normal” one with 350g. Fitted perfectly! The wait for the folded elephant ear was sweetened with bacon-wrapped dates. Price-performance: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A very well furnished restaurant, the garden restaurant is also very cozy. We ate two meat platters, Leberli, all with rösti and apple slices and, as a dessert, apple cakes with vanilla cream. Everything was very nice, I can recommend the restaurant.

The starter we ordered wasn't delivered at all, and after half an hour the kitchen announced that the salad had run out. Another 90 minutes later, after several inquiries, the main course arrived. To bridge the waiting time of 2 hours, a small bowl of peanuts was offered. The cordon bleu was ok, unfortunately a little dry. There were relatively few side dishes, but the pasta and vegetables were good. The next drama came when paying. Apart from a half-hearted apology, there was no discount. Not even drinks were offered. The service is slow and the waitress and the host take a long time, even though there are hardly any guests there. Conclusion: Not recommended and definitely too expensive for what is offered.

Actually fine, good portions. Too long waiting times. A full hour from the moment we sat down until the food was on the table. With a choice of 4 menus. Not recommended if you don't have a long lunch.

The boss is very unfriendly and incompetent. It is absolutely not recommended.

Tragic 1 hour wait for the salad and then another hour for the cordon bleu!! Not recommendable. When asked why it was taking so long, the restaurant owner said: Not recommended.

Real shit, 1 hour waiting time for 5 salads, another 1.5 hours for the main course. All in all, the food isn't bad, but the rest is below average. Not recommended.

Yesterday the three of us had dinner at the Metzg restaurant. The welcome and service in general were excellent. The appetizer came pretty quickly and was great. However, we had to be a little patient for the main course (approx. 45 minutes). But when we got our plates, the good food made up for the waiting time. Price-performance service and the food were excellent and the boss personally said goodbye to us as we left. Gladly again!

Visited the "Metzg" the first time today, great food and perfect service, variable choice from starters to main meal. Lovely outside area and inside very nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend this lovely country restaurant!!!
