Unfortunately we waited a long time for service even though the restaurant wasn't full. The service was unfriendly and not trained in the offer so she couldn't make any recommendations. The restaurant with the worst service from waitress in Switzerland. Food is good and the cocktail is delicious. There is a kid corner and beautiful lake view. Unfortunately all was ruined by the super rude waitress name Evelyn (what she told us, she is not Polish). She brought the food and asked us who ordered it and can‘t wait for 30 SECOND until we remembered the name of the dishes to tell her. She almost threw the plates on our table and left. When I complained she said she had no time, too many customers to serve. Hey, is it my problem as a customer? Completely arrogant and no manner. We didn’t receive any apology from the restaurant even though other waiter, waitress were there and witnessed it. We came here a few times and it’s our favourite place but but will be the last time we come to this restaurant. Pity but the service is too bad. It happen around 7pm on Sunday 9 July, 2023. We are a group of 4 adults 4 kids sitting next to the kid corner.

The restaurant in a very nice location. Great view over Lake Lucerne from the winter garden. The service staff is top and very friendly. Special requests are also implemented. It's been our two boys' favorite restaurant for some time now.

The food was delicious. The staff were helpful and assisted with explaining the dishes and portion size. She was considerate of our request of not having alcohol in the dish and had provided recommendations.

As usual, very fine food. The view of Lake Lucerne from the window seats is beautiful. The restaurant inside: everything is very outdated, especially the toilets, the operators made the best of the location that was still possible...

Never been served so poorly. Waitress very unfriendly. She only came after 10 minutes of taking our order to say that there was no meat dish available! The way she treated us was simply cheeky. Mice-en-place at the table was also not available. We actually came there many times, but after our experience, we will definitely never come again.

We wanted to eat something at 10:30 p.m., unfortunately the nachos were greasy. Hot food is available on the internet until 2.30am. Unfortunately, it is known that it has not yet been converted on the homepage because the boss is probably too lazy. Because people often wanted to come and eat late at night. Very unfortunate And no, I will not delete my review. If you can't stand the truth, it's your own fault!!! And continuously means continuously. Then you should describe it better. I come from the catering industry myself and it's continuous for us. A tip: just write until 10 p.m. and after that only nachos are available.

Food was excellent with the exception of the empenadas. The spinach was not fresh or easy to chew. The chicken and beef were phenomenal. Bread on chimichanga delicious and crispy. Great meal. I'm still reeling from price shock, it was $218 for 4 people, that would buy you filet mignon with desert for 4 people at an upscale restaurant in America. I don't know how people in Switzerland do it. Way too expensive. Cons: why can't restaurants in Europe offer free drinking water with a meal? We had to wait 15 mins to pay our bill. The waitresses had too many tables. We went up to the front and paid. In America the waitress usually notices we are done eating and we ask for the check.

Simply GREAT. We were there in the evening and had made a reservation on the terrace with a view of the lake, beautiful. The service was really very friendly and warm. The food was also very good.

Expensive for what you get. Asked for no sour cream on my food yet still had a potato arrive at my table with a bottles worth of sour cream on it. Nachos were great but rest of food was bland and would rather have old El Paso for the value for money .

Surprisingly decent Mexican food by Swiss standards. Friendly staff and good views of the lake. The tables were a bit small but we made it work. Reasonable prices.

The service was ok; however, my brother and I did not enjoy our meals. We ordered the Gambas al Ajillo and Chicken Jambalaya but the rice was overly loaded with tomato sauce, overpowering the taste of the rice and causing us both severe acid reflux. Collectively we spent $65 on our entrees alone and neither of us finished our meals. The only offer the waitress gave us to correct this issue was a free coffee or fountain drink. The fountain drinks were also not free refills so i alone paid $13 for one drink with one refill. Overall, the restaurant was overly priced. The lighting is also very minimal. We had to use our phone flashlights to read the menus. I definitely would not recommend it nor will we be returning.

It was very delicious! I was with a friend and we ordered beef burger and a beef salad. It was not pricy) And this restaurant works at Sunday, so it’s convenient to have a dinner in a restaurant on weekend. Also you can seat and eat with beautiful view🥰 One small comment, it is weird that the waitress doesn’t understand English even typical simple words. But we ordered the dishes by showing what we want in the menu.

When you want to have a very delicious lunch or dinner, this is the place to go to in Brunnen. The food is delicious and the choice fits every taste. In summer, the terrace offers a great panorama. I am a big fan of the Strawberry Caipifrutta. Excellent cocktail.

The food was good but very greasy. The nachos and burritos appear to have been dipped in cheese. The staff is nice and attentive but speaks little German. In terms of price, the restaurant is on the higher end.

We have been regular customers at the restaurant for many years with our 2 lovely girls. Unfortunately, the quality of service and food has declined recently. 2 weeks ago we waited 2 hours for the main course, but the quality of the food was great and today we were there again, but the quality of the food just wasn't what we were used to. My wife always has fajitas with vegetables. The vegetables were overcooked and unseasoned. I always eat rib eye steak. The steak was ordered medium rare and it came through. The baked patato was extremely overcooked. Given the situation, we will now take a longer break and will not visit the restaurant again until the new year and see whether it can go back to the old days.

Simply bad. Service was at the table once, the wine was opened, poured and then not seen again until we paid. She should give the wines to the EK, sorry. Food: ordered entrecote saignant. Got more than a point, the meat had zero roasted aromas, there was no crust, that happens when the oil is too cold...it's a shame. After 10 years of abstinence, given another chance. There are better ones in Brunnen where the service and quality are right.

Worst customer service and not friendly to tourists! My husband and I booked a table here thinking it would be a fun and different place than the usual Swiss restaurants but were very disappointed with the customer service we ended up leaving without even ordering a drink or dinner. When we arrived the waiter sat us at a nice table by the window with a good view but then were told by another waiter we had to get up and move to a smaller table at the back of the restaurant with no view. We waited about 15 - 20 minutes there with no one even coming to ask us what we wanted to drink, so we went to find a waiter and asked to order directly but he said he was coming and then never did. After this terrible first interactions with their staff we decided to just leave and no one even said anything to us as we walked out.

Until last year this restaurant was good. We were there on August 1st, 2022. On this day you can understand that it takes a little longer for the food to arrive. But what I experienced this August 1st is the last straw. We had to wait 1 hour until the food came. My 2 companions got their food. Mine didn't come. Then the serving girl came and said that this food was not intended for our table. And for me it was said that my food was mistakenly brought to another table and now I have to wait even longer for my food!!! 😡🤬 Then it chased me away and went to complain. But apparently no one was responsible! I then left, but then came back when my colleague called me to say that my food had arrived. If the tables were numbered and you could also write down the time when ordering, then you would see who ordered what and when! The waiter was friendly and at least bought us an espresso. I gave him a tip despite everything! Nevertheless, I have to say, I find the entire behavior of the rest of the staff shameful and frustrating! Do I have to explain to them how to run a restaurant? I will avoid this restaurant in the near future unless something changes there! But I have to change that a lot!!! 😡

Very fine food and nice conditions

The food is of good quality and you get really big portions. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired! We waited 20 minutes for the drinks we first ordered, even though the restaurant wasn't overly full. We received the main course 1 1/2 hours after ordering... the aperitif glasses were on the table until after payment and there was no asking if we would like something else to drink when we were sitting on dry land. When the service employee noticed that we were starting to get restless because it was taking so long to eat, she seemed to explicitly avoid our area of ​​the restaurant and make eye contact with us. It's a shame... unfortunately we won't be able to visit again.

We ate there 4 days ago and received exemplary service, even though the restaurant was full within 15 minutes. The food was very good and the portions were rather large. The margerita was great........ we would love to come back!!!

We got something to go that we really enjoyed. You can eat well right by the lake.

As soon as we ordered we noticed that the waiter was overwhelmed. Even though the salad was expressly ordered without tomatoes, it was brought along. Ordered a whole portion of starter and received half, after complaint it was still brought. For the main course, one menu was wrong, and for the other the rice was completely dried out. Because it took a long time for the right thing to arrive, we couldn't eat together and our appetite was gone because of the long wait. Mistakes were blamed on the new staff, I am of the opinion that the boss would be required to train these people better.

+ Friendly staff + Furnishings are generally very nice, especially in the upper area + Drinks are A1 + Small but nice sun terrace + Nice location at the top of the lake promenade +/- The toilet itself is clean. But in the anteroom and the stairs there is a strong smell (fish...) and it is quite untidy - Price/performance is rather moderate (probably also due to the location) - Despite the moderate frequency, we sometimes had to wait a long time for the order or the food

Super tasty, great selection and good quality. Since it was very busy, the main course took a while, but that wasn't a bad thing considering the quality and the atmosphere. Keep it up and thank you very much for the great service!

The food is good. The mezcalito salad dressing is very tasty and a bit spicy. The fajitas are good, but I would have liked a plate to fill the flatbreads with as they are quite hot to begin with.

The food and drinks were very good, recommended. It wasn't exactly cheap but the value for money is ok too.

Me and my colleague definitely go here once a month and eat fajitas and nachos. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. It's not only a great place to just have a good meal, but also to treat yourself to a few drinks in the evening (The banana colada and swimming pool are highly recommended😌). Also a really great spot, the bus stop is 2 minutes away and the lake is right across the street. Everything is very nicely decorated and gives a really Mexican flair. The service is always friendly and if you don't know what you want to order, they also help and give good suggestions. All in all just a great restaurant. It's worth a visit :)

We ate there with two children and two adults. The waitress brought the food and drinks quickly. Unfortunately, not all of my fajitas were warm (some were cold and stiff). Furthermore, an additional sauce that was ordered was not brought (it was also not charged for) and the guacamole was missing from a children's menu (although it was part of it). At the time we had the table there were not very many guests in the restaurant. That's why I think that this order could and should have been delivered in full.
