Earlier in the afternoon, I had gone there in person to reserve a specific table near the screen. When we arrived we were greeted by someone who I later learned was the boss. He showed us to a table where the view was blocked by a column. When I protested that I had booked another table, he became defensive and proceeded to give me a ridiculous story about the tables being booked two weeks earlier. The funny thing is that two weeks ago, no one knew who the two finalists would be, so his story smacked of bulls**t. As we looked Asian, perhaps his subtle racist mentality kicked in and he thought we might be pushed around. In fact, my wife is 100% Swiss! As she was hungry, we reluctantly took another table elsewhere and left at the end of the first half. If I was alone, I would have told him to his face: Sir, stop, I don't want to listen to your bulls**t! The only positive point was that the waitress who attended to us was very nice and friendly and tried to calm us down; same for the server (Ben is his name, I think). The dish, Tartare Daurade, which my wife had was very good. It was my fourth time there, unfortunately my first meeting with Mr. Bulls**t Boss! Not! Came here to watch the CL 2nd semi final between Man City and Real (Bluff) Madrid. The entrance advertised that the match will be shown live but when it commenced, the music wasn’t turned off so I was watching a ‘silent’ live match without the atmosphere of a live match! The table on my right was occupied by a noisy inconsiderate non football group who were constantly blocking the TV despite several reminders. A sad reflection of their uncouth behaviour; probably where they come from, it’s normal! Also, they were smoking e-cigarettes. I thought all forms of smoking inside eating places were forbidden but the waiters allowed them a free hand. Wonder if the boss, Mr Chen, is aware of it. On the plus side, the pulled beef burger and frites was one of the best I’ve had; beats all the other burger joints in Lausanne. I’ll definitely come back for it and also the amber beer (one of the best). Hopefully the next time, this group of idiots will not be there.

Attention!!! The cigarettes in the automatic machine are completely expired and made me vomit after the 4th. After giving it to someone the evening afterward the experience was the same, that's when we made the connection with cigarettes. Otherwise good atmosphere and welcoming, the servers are super friendly. On the other hand, the boss thinks he is allowed when it is time to close the bar (and therefore to bring the facilities inside) and pushes me twice because I am obstructing the passage while I wanted to buy a pack of cigarettes in the machine automatic which is located right at the entrance to the bar.

What a desappointment !!!! 10’ to see a waiter arrive…. We order beers and a cheese board... which will take more than 35' to arrive despite 2 requests!!!! Obviously the beers were drunk!!!! We expressed our dissatisfaction but it slipped on them, almost it was our fault!!! We may be late (albeit for cheese...) but we communicate it and we apologize instead of looking down on the customer!!!! For sure we won't come back... and if you have a show and are in a bit of a hurry, well... move on!!!!
