It's both a bakery and a café. Lovely place. There's always an available seat at Wednesday or Friday afternoon. Self service for the cafe. Dine in at no extra cost. Ask for their tea varieties. They used to have rooibos vanilla flavor, but not anymore.

I only bought one loaf of bread. Very competent and friendly staff, great, creative breads. I decided on the “Jungfrau” bread. 👍🏻👍🏻

I love the bakery! The store is very clean and well-kept, which I immediately noticed as a positive thing. The lovely staff today was extremely friendly and accommodating. They literally invite you to enjoy your freshly bought bread roll on the spot and treat yourself to a delicious coffee with it. Of course we took advantage of that straight away. What I found particularly great were the robber harrows. You simply can't miss this sweet little temptation! They are simply delicious and an absolute must for every visitor. All in all, my visit to the bakery was a real highlight. I can only warmly recommend this shop and am therefore happy to give it 5 stars

If you come to Interlaken, be sure to go in the morning. This is a famous handmade traditional bread restaurant full of buttery flavor. It’s different from a supermarket.

Super thankful that this place opens at 6am. I was so jetlagged and hungry as I came from Singapore the previous day. They check your covid certificate before you can dine in which is very good. Cinammon bun was super delicious, probably the best I had during my trip. I also ordered hot chocolate wherein the staff gave me a cup of hot milk and a packet of Caotina which when mixed tastes so nice. Great to warm you during a cold winter morning. She also gave me a glass of tap water for free which was very nice. I spent around 5-6CHF for breakfast here which was very affordable in Swiss standards. They serve all sorts of bread and coffee. Lovely neighborhood cafe!

What a delicious bread... Since I already liked it at the Hotel Bären, I quickly asked on the day of departure where they got it from and took a little detour. It was worth it because everyone was of the same opinion as a souvenir and the bread was sold out far too quickly. I won't be able to get back there any time soon, but if it comes up again, I'll take more than one with me.

Very friendly staff, card payment possible. Good selection, the rolls taste good (there are Mütschli, normal rolls and Weggli with a small amount of milk). I also really liked the brioche. The croissants are a little better in France. The bread looked very good too. There are also plenty of snacks to take away. You can also go here for breakfast.

Since my accommodation was nearby, I stopped by every morning during my trip :) 1. Cone Croissant - Finely chopped corn sticks crisply to the outside of the croissant! Tastier than plain 2. Daldaguri bread lightly spread with sugar and cream - I ordered it because it looked delicious, jmt! Daldaguri fills me with sugar. 3. A cross between a donut and brioche with strawberry marmalade. - Think of Dunkin Donuts' strawberry jam bread haha, delicious! 4. Coffee - It's expensive, maybe because it's Switzerland! it is delicious Latte macchiato 4 francs, espresso 3.5 francs 5. In addition, commercial products such as simple yogurt and coffee milk (Emi) are also sold in one corner. There are employees who can speak English, It is clearly a local restaurant, as many nearby residents stop by. If you go early in the morning, the focus is on bread, If you go after 9:30, the cakes start to fill up. ======================== I visited here several times since I was staying at a nearby hotel. It has a really cozy atmosphere of its own and I could feel that this place is really loved by locals. (always full of people even in the morning) Definitely recommended place for a quick breakfast before beginning your journey in Interlaken. I have every intention to visit here again. I will miss its corn croissant :)

It's a bakery with cafe. I stayed in cafe for some time, and found that this place is really loved by local ppl :-) Also a cheese cake was nice, which I guess is a homemade one. Note: they don't accept credit card payment.
