Migros Restaurant in Steinhausen

Why is there only bratwurst with onion sauce at lunchtime, except on Friday evenings? I and many others miss them dearly. It's a center where you just have to offer food all the time. Also bratwurst. That's why I go to migro restaurants. Meanwhile in others.

Food has actually never been bad. However, there was too little space before and after the renovation. Since the renovation there has been even less space. Service at the checkouts was never nice either.

The restaurant after renovation is actually nicer and with a cozier atmosphere. Unfortunately, at the poke bowl section, the woman who is at the service is rude. Feels like annoyed to serve as she was first doing something. And while asking what we want, she is rude with high pitched voice. I called her attention and she said it’s because she is alone., She seems tired and irritated. I can understand that but thats not an excuse to be not friendly and nice to customers . She needs to learn how to deal with customers, nicely and friendly

All good when it's open. It closes hours before the published closing time. Good luck finding anything during the final 1:30 before closing. Even worse during work days.

The new restaurant is nice but it seems like there are significantly fewer seats than before. But it could be that I'm wrong. The Thai curry stand is great because it is freshly cooked. I would save the fries etc from the warm display, but the burger stand has good burgers and also fresh fries. The price for a burger is okay but 12.- for a large portion of fries is brutal, even if they are garnished with various things.

We have now tried all the stands and are completely satisfied with everything! The Mexican fries and the wok variations are particularly delicious. Special praise goes to the excellent service of the friendly employee (wearing glasses) who works at the burger/fries stand. Super nice and accommodating!

It is very expensive than it used to be. Now only regular rich kids can always eat here.

Tested after reopening. Visually, the restaurant is clearly an improvement, but unfortunately it's the only positive thing that stands out. The whole family was at the most demanding snack bar with the 🍟 baskets of fries. The operation was new and overwhelmed with the instructions stuck on the counter. Since we were hungry and the portions were very minimal, we asked for an encore. There was no answer. So we order 2 portions of the chicken wings in a basket (only 4 wings in the Chörbli hit) for one person. The 🍔 burger was only half the size of the picture. But the gong was given to us with the salmon portion on the French fries basket (Nordic Fries). The little salmon was spread on the fries like flakes. When I asked if I could get a little more salmon, Kaltschneuzig responded; The boss himself watched and said nothing, so NO. (There was a lot of salmon in the warming chest (at least 3 large pieces), which will probably be thrown away on this day because it will be closed on January 2nd and 1700 😞 ) We had lunch for 80.- (see photo) had and were not full. One should check the quantity given out with the photos of the food stalls. Unfortunately a very negative experience.

I just have one question... when will the playground be open again? Otherwise everything was great, we like it there :)

Looks very nice and “awesome” - the only thing is that you don’t get served at 1:30 p.m.🥺 Neither at the Thai nor at the Mexican. So unfortunately I can't comment on the food!

Great job with this food corner

Great ambience in the new restaurant and large selection of dishes. It's quick and very inexpensive. Then there's good coffee.

Not a single vegan option in the entire food corner. Zugerland is stuck in the 20th century.

Friendly and courteous staff, large selection of dishes, there is something for everyone.

Food Corner. Cool concept. There's something for every heart. Thai curry, poke bowl, burgers and fries, all in at least one vegetarian version. Lots of fine dishes. It's best to go by yourself, allow a little more time and try everything out. (most dishes are also available in a snack portion) We'd love to come back. Next time we will take our children with us too.

The freshly made fries were great and the poke bowl with the ultra-fresh side dishes also tasted very tasty. Happy to come back!

Unfortunately at the moment the entire centre is undergoing renovation and as a result there is only a very small cafe operating with an extremely small selection of food. We went not knowing that the centre was a building site expecting to be able to eat a great cooked lunch and cakes for desert. Sadly, we had to leave without eating. The centre is effectively in this reduced state until at least October so don't waste your time visiting.

Children's birthday party disastrous… very unprofessional. Not recommended!

It can't be that the cheesecake can't be warmed in an oven. Only the microwave may be used for heating (statement of the cook who worked today at 2:20 p.m. on March 17, 2023, an older gentleman). The cook was rude and indecent. Not customer friendly. I would definitely go over the books with such unfriendly staff. Too bad for this restaurant

Rude staff really want me to get the overpriced fries of 5.50 CHF plus 0.6 CHF of sauce out of the compartment! Fries are usually over 30 minutes... Lüt goes to train you or be customer friendly!!!! Just do it instead of snapping at the customer... We pay your wages, go do a training course at McDonalds... they have a lot more stress...

The food is actually not bad, but there are a lot of people and the portions are rather small

I particularly liked the freshly prepared Asian food. Unfortunately the price has increased but at 17.50 SFr with meat or tofu the price is still justifiable and the food is definitely delicious!

A few steps from home. Excellent during the week and at the weekend to eat good things 😉👍 and do some good shopping

Friendly and responsive to guests. Food is tasty. Koch does his best because they certainly have requirements. Migros depends. Improvement before blow, drinks issue. Concentrate is sometimes set incorrectly. once almost no piston acid or set too strong. Please do services. Thanks

We come regularly to the breakfast buffet. 5 cold delicacies with 2nd coffee for only 9.- 😃. We also really like the wok at lunch with 3 different curry sauces.

Fresh, rich and delicious selection at very fair prices

Sometimes very good, sometimes a disaster. Cooking simple rice that is edible and soft is impossible. It would be good if you tried what you cook yourself. Sad!

Today for lunch... Ribeye steak for Fr. 20.- ORIGIN IRELAND... everything is nice and fine, but what do I see on a table plate that is misleading the guests: Migros uses ONLY Swiss meat in restaurants and take-aways... including beef. If something is already written on the company's flag, then the flag should be withdrawn if there are situational adjustments.

I ate a mixed salad plate. The salad buffet looks enormous, has many finely prepared salads and separate small delicacies such as fried bacon, steamed bread cubes, steamed mushrooms, onions, garlic, toast, etc.

Food was very good but poor mask control. Fathers without masks in the playground area and that's not possible

Generally good food and mostly good selection. The dishes on the buffets are bad, inadequate or not labeled at all. Dessert selection could be more diverse and varied. It's a shame that the super good mocha frappee was canceled. That was extremely nice.

I noticed again that the staff is often quite unfriendly. You almost have to beg for a friendly smile. Sad!

Vegetables are quite poorly seasoned and the salads are not always fresh (leaf lettuce) you could really do more with the buffets. The offer is otherwise quite varied and the price is ok.

Incredibly disappointing. I had a nasty insect in the spinach and the chef didn't even apologize. The food was also very bland. You could eat it but it had no taste. For the third time in a row, I ate badly in three different Migros and was always disappointed.

Friendly staff, freshly prepared menus and a buffet with a large and varied selection. We recommend. It is recommended to come around 11:30 a.m. or after 12:30 p.m. for lunch. In between there is a lot of activity, but there is always space and you never have to wait long.

A beautifully designed Migros restaurant. The selection of dishes on offer is good and varied. There are also seasonal adjustments. The staff is friendly and the prices are cheap and reasonable as always. There are enough parking spaces available. The transport connection is optimal and you can also fill up with petrol cheaply.

Eating lunch menu usually here so depends what you get. Food taste i would rate it average and rarely good. You can eat also very good breakfast.(e.g. fried eggs with rösti). For lunch i've had e.g. steak on the grill, gulas with sauce and rösti, meatballs in sause with fries, etc

Pretty good as far as Migros Restaurants go, my only suggestion would be to take some cues from the one in Brugg.

Good restaurant for women's meetings, rich buffet menu

There is a lot of space to sit, so it is not overcrowded. The choice of food is good to me, and there is a cafeteria with good coffee and desserts.

After the renovation, the once beautiful restaurant became a dreary, uncomfortable location with the character of a canteen. The feel-good atmosphere has been lost. What a shame! The salad buffet consists mostly of unappetizing ready-made salads from bags and cans. Apart from a snooty and opinionated checkout lady, the staff is friendly and nice.

The Migros in Zugerland is so big that you have to find out where things are. A lovely shop that has everything. Cool.

I usually take the Migros z'Morge, with additional coffee for 9.20 Fr. before shopping. Instead of the fruit cup you can also use 1 dl of orange juice. Glasses for the middle coffee machine. What I find negative is that cutlery and plates often have residue from dishwashing liquid or even leftover food. Keep your eyes open before making your selection.

The best are always the freshest

The vegetables are often oversalted and overcooked, which I find very unfortunate. Especially for the little guests. It's a 50:50 chance to try something new while eating. That's why I often use what I know and where I don't take anything wrong. The toilets are not always that clean and the seat cleaning sprays are often empty.

Everyone will find something to eat, as there is a large selection of different dishes. Price/performance is right. It's always busy, so finding a table is sometimes a little difficult.
