Lots of choice of food and good. But the restaurant itself is old. It needs to be renewed.

The food is very bad. Anything you order tastes like soup. The only good thing is that there is a play area for the little ones.

The food was great and you could choose from various menus up to the buffet. At the time (12.00-13.00) when I was there, there were a lot of people and there was almost no space. You also had to wait in line for a long time at the checkout.

Nice self serve type eatery, food of reasonable quality, price also pretty good. Decent range of foodstuffs. Wasn't too busy 12.30 on a Friday lunchtime.

The food choices are really good, worth the price. You get to choose from small, medium to large plate, then You can fill it up from salad to main courses and you pay specific amount for each sizes. I love the dishes here.. Worth a try and highly recommended.

Constant quality at a good standard. Here again for decades. Tables and chairs dirty and not inviting. Generation “Leaving trash lying around is cool” also results in considerable additional effort.

Unfortunately, with every concept adjustment, something was always lost. Today ☹️☹️. I went out for chicken wings about once a month. They often come out of the deep fryer bloody, practically every time there are different cooks behind the counter and the quality is getting worse and worse. Today we experienced two dissatisfied customers while waiting. One complaint was bloody chicken wings and the second complaint was that the food was only lukewarm.

The food is great, but unfortunately the toilets have a charge. When you eat, the toilets should be free, right? There is terrible noise from the children

It is a special place for Kids, which it is great because you can drink a coffee while kids are playing. It is not sobig area and there are normally a lot of kids but is is OK.

Unfriendly staff when scooping up the food. Unfortunately, some of the noodles were hard and not cooked. The flesh was very streaky and hard like the sole of a shoe. The best thing was the vegetables. My companion chose risotto as a side dish. The taste was brilliant but unfortunately the chef is probably in love and was therefore totally oversalted. Ambiance offers enough space and is cozy. Dessert was amazing and very tasty, mocha pastries and vermicelle👌🏽

Hot breakfast disastrous. Everything stale and burnt. Scrambled eggs inedible 18fr for a small plate is it still possible?

I was able to enjoy my meal at Migros Marktgasse once again. I was well informed about prices. What was absolutely GREAT was that my wife didn't speak German, and a Spanish woman with curly hair helped and informed her in a friendly manner. Thank you for the multi-cultural culture! Tables were very clean, but the restaurant was a bit noisy at times.

Hello, everything is really "BAD" in this restaurant. Warm to cold pasta, the minimum number of cases open at midday!!! And to top it all off, pay toilets!!!! 14.90 francs a plate of cold pasta. Who are we laughing at ? 😤😬

Fresh food, CHF 1 voucher when you go to the toilet, which can then be debited at the checkout. Friendly staff, I would especially like to mention a woman at the checkout. In Ms. Ferairo you will find a likeable, helpful and competent person. That was not my first nor my last visit to the Migros Restaurant Marktgasse.

There is a variety of foods and a good price range, perfect for when you arrive or before traveling and need to buy something last minute.

We were allowed to use the beautiful, well-kept and large toilet for free. The service team was very friendly and really enhanced our toilet stay. We can highly recommend visiting the toilet!

It's self-service. The tables should be cleaned better, ours was still dirty from the previous one.

I was very impressed with the Migros restaurant. A variety of meals to choose from and they are very tasty 😋 and affordable. When I got to Germany I started looking for Migros, but was disappointed when I did not find it in Munich and Berlin. I was hoping to eat there one more time.

We wanted to go out for something to eat with the family. But first to the toilet. Unfortunately, the turnstile only accepts 1-franc coins. No, but ou. No Twint, no card, nothing - just cash. We then went to the Coop Restaurant. The toilets are free there and the food tasted really good.

I had asparagus with houlondaise and boiled potatoes and an extra portion of raw ham. There was a leek cream soup. Everything was good except the boiled potatoes, which were bland and far too soft. Unfortunately. 😭

Big, good selection, which impressed me, small to large plates and everything you like on them.... I'll be happy to come back....

The drink (cold chocolate) is not expensive! Recommendation for people who don't earn much or can no longer afford it!

I'm here every morning and have my breakfast here - there's something for everyone that their heart desires

I have been to the Migros Restaurant for many years and have only been disappointed! The concept of paying per plate sounds good in principle, but then you see real stacking artists stacking as much as possible on their plates, which spoils your appetite. The fries were cold and the onion rings weren't available, but the fact that I can't go to the toilet after paying without having to shell out CHF 1 or buy something again is rude! A solution using a token or something similar would also be possible, the fact that nobody makes their holy toilets available for free anymore is very sad, but ripping off your own guests is just pathetic!

Yesterday after the children's carnival we wanted to go out for something to eat. At 5:20 p.m. we were at the buffet (it had already been cleared away). The chef first told us he had run out of chicken nuggets, then after I wanted chicken wings as an alternative in the children's menu, there were suddenly chicken nuggets again . A lady who was first in line also wanted nuggets, but you have to take the wings since he said yes first... Then the lady wanted salad but the employee was already clearing away. As an exception, the lady was allowed to have a quick salad but was pointed out in a cheeky tone that you can only buy food until 5.30 p.m. and that the doors close at 6 p.m. (Which I honestly think is crazy, since all the shops on that floor are open until 7 p.m.) At 5:58 p.m. my little daughter went to the toilet and then we wanted to go, and my older daughter thought about it too. The older one was turned away because it was already 6 p.m. and she was no longer allowed to use the toilet. This is all really not hospitable and we are very disappointed. I don't know exactly what went wrong in the last few years, but everything used to be better in the Migros Restaurant Marktgasse.

I don't recommend it, the servers were harsh and refused to sell me a cup so I could take my coffee to go, I didn't pay attention to the restaurant's closing time because when I looked online it was at 7:00 pm and not 6:00 pm. My family arrived at 5:50 pm when I saw that it was closing before I went to try to buy a glass and they refused. I don't recommend it (staff don't speak French)

Very convenient for eating and resting after visiting the city, especially if it rains or is cold. Close to the station, in the centre. Spotless bathrooms. Wide choice of food, self service. Affordable prices despite being in dear Switzerland!

Range of offerings: Very good. But the guest rooms are hopelessly overcrowded...

The Migros restaurant on Marktgasse in Bern is very nicely decorated. The food and drinks are always fresh. When I'm in town I only go to this restaurant.

Simply furnished restaurant. The food is good, suitable for a migros restaurant.

I was there in the afternoon. Since the last renovation, the offer for me at non-peak times has been poor. Apart from coffee and cake there wasn't much there, or the display was empty. For me that was it again, better to go.

High quality to price ratio. A constant choice for a not so expensive self-service lunch with common Swiss dishes (Bratwurst, Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu)

Previously the best Migros restaurant, now just disappointing. Taking the cult “Marktgass Burger” out of the range and only offering stale food is very sad.

The worst Migros restaurant I've seen. Is the extension of the take away on the ground floor, only with seating. The salad buffet is gone, only ready-made salads. There was almost no space to be found before the renovation, and the restaurant is half empty. Won't go there anymore.

Apple spritzer served by the glass is the worst of all M restaurants in Switzerland. The reason is simple: because there is no carbon dioxide. I have already complained about this several times without success. The interior is more like a simple canteen

Unfortunately there is no longer a real restaurant, so the takeaway or the warm menus to take away in the Migros store offer a better selection.

Normal Migros Restaurant, as expected. The staff is friendly which was a plus. There is a little playground so your toddler can play while you've got the opportunity eat somthing.

Unfortunately, due to the epidemic situation, it is not the real thing! What I liked about it was that I could choose anything mixed on my plate. Unfortunately, that's not the case now!

It's been really bad since the renovation. Self-service is completely gone. The selection is extremely small and the portion size is meager. I often went here to eat with my father. But since our last visit, we have agreed that this was the last visit. A pity. Especially in times like these, you should also offer customers something and not just think about the look of the restaurant. Before the renovation, the restaurant was always full of workers and boys and there was hardly any space. Now you only see a few older people. Anyone who works and is hungry will definitely not get full here. So it is also clear that the tables remain empty. I hope the charm and quality of the old Migros Restaurant comes back at some point, then the restaurant will definitely fill up with people again and won't be as empty as it is currently.

As always, the quality is good, but the range is no longer as large as before Corona, but that is understandable. But everything was very clean and well maintained.

Became very unfriendly. Always enjoyed being here. Children's plate mega small with very few fries. No 8 year old will be fed up there. That they didn't want to see the child's ID. Wouldn't have surprised me. Unfriendly, mushy tone. I'm not used to Bern at all. How old is he?! Ah, the fries are being counted. 8 years-8 fries. Man, you earn so much, what's the point of stinginess? Well, maybe the gentleman at the expense wants more for himself. He definitely doesn't eat xs portions, the gentleman with the swinging stature.

Average. Staff ist not really friendly through very assisting. Selection of food during the lunch hours is limited, but I guess due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Small indoor playground in the family area. Overall the place is somewhat outdated and could use a good clean up.

After shopping, have a delicious cup of cappuccino with kirstorte... right in the center... it's not that busy now due to C19.
