Staff is very friendly. Freshly made Pad Thai is delicious. Green curry has potatoes (?) in it and is not really recommended. The toilets are very dirty and the cistern is broken. There is a student discount here.

A quiet and well located restaurant, unfortunately the cuisine is not of very high quality but good point it does the job, I certainly won't come back but hey it might help. Good service and friendly staff. A good restaurant but we don't know that she cooks Vietnamese food? Thai? Chinese?

Chicken rice and chicken noodles had a bad after taste. Not worth the authentic Chinese food.

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on Mardi Gras Monday and it was great! The location is prime and the service absolutely outstanding. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

Red curry not as spicy as described

The Food is acceptable and cheap for this area however some dishes are not cooked on the spot. Also, very nice interior design!

Am Barfi Bad service 0 stars!!! Woman at the counter was stressed and yelled loudly at me. I told her twice to please cook vegetables until soft. Vegi Shoopsui, all the vegetables were very hard and raw and I brought them back to her. I had to wait a total of 45 minutes because she cooked for other guests first. I asked where my dish was. She screamed loudly at me to wait. 😳I've probably been waiting for an hour. She insulted me in Thai language.

I had a Chicken Fried Noodle and I managed to find one tiny piece of chicken in it. So, I just had an imaginary chicken noodle. Overall the food was really mediocre and I will not try this place again ever.

I ordered phat thai and it's unbelievable...let alone the quantity for the price...really disappointing. My advice is don't order it from them

The food is usually good, but the staff is sometimes very unfriendly, dismissive and disinterested. Apparently many employees don't know when a Poinz card is full, even if it is full, and demand payment even though the card is full. And the fact that there are several collective passes (frozen yoghurt pass) doesn't seem to have reached all employees. If you don't want to treat the guest to the free meal then please get rid of Poinz or train your staff better.

Unfriendly and incompetent service. Food was different this time (way too much oily) Shard of glass on the chair is why My 10 year old daughter injured her finger. I don't think I will visit the restaurant again.

Disastrous service behavior. The workers are unfriendly, disinterested and only concerned with Uber-eats orders. No apparent sign of interest in selling. No greeting, nothing. We left without having accomplished anything and will not be coming back.

Basic, mainstream asian fast food. The rice is a bit al dente, and Thai paste is more sweet than spicy. It’s fine, but not very authentic. It’s on the same level as an airport food court. I got 1 eggroll, 1 fried shrimp, 1 satay chicken stick, 1 chicken fried rice bowl = 27€ (Quality level is more like 8-10€)

We had to wait too long. We waited 10-15 minutes for the food. Ea guests came after us and got food quicker. For this reason I give it a star out of 5.

The red curry with beef (daily special for lunch) was unfortunately no more than below average - little taste, the curry as thin as water. And curry is THE component of a curry dish. Therefore unfortunately only 2 stars 🤷🏼‍♂️

The food is very good. The service is sometimes good and sometimes bad depending on your mood. The ambience is quite ok, there is space outside as well as inside in the front area or upstairs. Toilets are upstairs.

My go to place with visitors from outside of Switzerland. Very affordable and great food. Small portion is more than enough for lunch. Today's curry was great! I'll be back with next visitors

Not exactly a gourmet restaurant, but ideal for satisfying your hunger. Even in the middle of the afternoon you can still get a nice selection of appealing dishes.

Fried rice is not edible and tastes like dog food. I had explosive diarrhea after this meal in this restaurant, which looked good from the outside. I am horrified and will not come to this restaurant again.

Food is good... since it is a self-service restaurant, it is far too expensive... and the prices were artificially increased again...

On our bike tour in 2015, we arrived in Basel hungry and ended up eating Asian food. During the night it started with vomiting and diarrhea, symptoms of potential food poisoning. For years we asked ourselves which restaurant we had visited back then. Today we finally found it again. It was Mr. Wong in Gerbergasse. Here I now ceremoniously present the long overdue 1-star rating for the involuntary core renovation of my stomach at the time.

Food really just mediocre. Completely overpriced. 21 francs for a curry with 4 shrimps. The service is also rather unfriendly and people like to add one or two francs when billing at the cash register. Not recommendable

Bad service. I wanted to order a children's menu with 3 satay skewers, rice and sauce. The other one was too much for me because I wasn't very hungry. My partner wanted the wheat soup WITHOUT mushrooms, she told her colleague, but the soup came with mushrooms and we had to order it again. At the checkout the woman said the skewers were 14.40. - On the sign outside it was 9.90. - but she said the prices had changed. She went to the price board and I showed her the children's menu I wanted and she said I wasn't a child and wasn't allowed to buy that menu. We then got the 4 skewers and had to buy the price for the normal menu. Since when are you not allowed to buy a children's menu just because you're not a child? So should the food be thrown away? Cheeky.

Food completely overrated. Tastes are different, yes. But being so far away from good Asian food is an outrage. Chicken Szechuan, what feels like pure oyster sauce in abundance, Chicken cashew tasteless and bland. The worst quality meat. I've rarely eaten something like this!

Like the food there. It's quick and the portions are good. I have to fetch food myself and bring it to the table, but the price is right.

Fine food, although rather expensive. Friendly staff. Finally no more pepperoni in the fried noodles. Maybe declare whether the fried noodles are vegan if you don't add an egg?

The food is tasty and served in good quality. The employees always have a smile on their faces and serve in a friendly and courteous manner. The prices are moderate and the location right on the edge of the old town makes the restaurant easily accessible.

Went there, got something basic for my son and me. He got satay and white rice and I got chicken fried rice… super simple, cost 30CHF and the rice and veggies were all raw. Nothing was actually cooked. Go to nagishi across the street…. Worst decision ever. Never eating here again

A very bad and rude service! We ate for CHF 50.00 and the lady charged us one franc for a sauce that actually came with the shrimps. I don't recommend it, there are far better restaurants in Basel!

Always tasty for a “quick restaurant” and the staff are also very friendly. The portions are large enough so that the price-performance ratio is right. The tables were clean and all rules were followed. For me it's a good change if you want to eat something different and cheap for a quick lunch.

catastrophe I have been a customer here for a long time, but now I avoid this store. None of those present understand the order correctly. When I try to say it clearly again, they talk among themselves and don't listen at all. In the end I just walk out resignedly with 3 dishes that I hadn't ordered. Who hired this new workforce and where have the other friendly, service-oriented people gone? A pity!
