This snack bar has earned its good reputation. The best kebab I've ever had. The meat was of top quality. The bread is freshly made and each kebab can be personalized. I often find that I feel heavy in my stomach after eating a kebab. Not this one at all! It wasn't dripping with fat, nor did it have too much sauce. Simply great. I'd love to come back.

Crispy but soft pitta (fresh baked infront of you), succulent tasty chicken and all the salad and sauce with tons of flavour! Couldn’t leave Zurich after seeing the queue out of this place and it lives up to the reviews. Ate a full main course prior to coming here and still ate the lot it was so good, yep deffo reccomend

I took a Yaprak kebab. Stable price for 17.50 but very nice. Bread is baked on site. The queue was outside and after about 20 minutes it was my turn. It was simply furnished inside.

Well for me i don't really get it why it is so called ' the best in town '. Besides the fresh made bread, i don't feel anything special. The new beef & lamb kebab is way to expensive. (17.5fr) Yes, you can tell they really try to make the difference from the others about the meat. But for my flavor i could taste the lamb smell very much which personally don't like it.

Probably the best Kebap in Zurich and I’ve been to almost all of them. They prepare the bread fresh and the portion is also quite big! The line is always long but it is for sure worth it! The taste is amazing the portion is big and this is the one of the best fast food in Zurich! Recommended!

The kebabs are actually very tasty and there are always fresh pitas. But if the boss is no longer always there, the service is sometimes overwhelmed and the kebabs are no longer put together as usual. For example, the hummus and sauces are not well distributed or dosed. In the past, it felt like the boss was always there and a lot of effort was put into it.

The bread tasted excellent, it was freshly baked right in the oven. There were enough vegetables to choose from, something for everyone. The vegetable counter could be a little cleaner (picture). Friendly staff. The pocket bread is filled and you are full with a kebab. With the Mediterranean kebab, some savings were made with the oven vegetables. Chicken on the skewer was lovely and very well seasoned. This kebab shop is highly recommended. In mid-February 2024 I was able to try the new steak kebab. The meat didn't have that much flavor, it could have been seasoned more intensely. That's why the chicken kebab is my No. 1 for with & without.

First time in Switzerland and was told about this hole in the wall place. Showed up and there was a lineup which to me is a good thing. Waited about 20 minutes and you walk in to this super cool vibe with long communal tables, people chilling and the smell of fresh meat and bread wafting through. I don’t speak Swiss German but the owner was super friendly and spoke in English with me so I could understand. I tried the steak kebab with everything (which the owner explained that’s how it should be) and it was unreal. From the bread which was baked fresh in store to the quality ingredients. Just complete legit amazing!! Next time I’m back to visit my sister and brother in law I’m coming here first.

Excellent kebab, gladly again 😍 We have to wait a bit this Sunday evening. First outside for about 20 minutes then inside but once we have our numbers it's quick. We are “called” via the monitor and allowed to choose our ingredients. Everything looks great! The bread is freshly baked and the quantity is ideal - not too much, not too little. The meat is crisped perfectly. Delicious sauces can be chosen: first on the bread then on the meat and vegetables. It was easy to get a seat. The kebab tastes great, as expected, and the iced tea is also incredibly tasty!

Kebab is really one of the best in CH - only the portion is very stingy and the price is overrated. Ambience nothing special - rather bad. Service: very big drawback - the waitress didn't smile when greeting or asking questions (No. 1 rule in sales - apparently without training, I think) Kebab man: Asks what you want in a very stressed and rushed manner - very unpleasant atmosphere - time pressure is very important here. They didn't have any Ayran - unbelievably a "wannabe" Berlin snack bar doesn't have any Ayran - instead of freshly squeezed ice tea it should have fresh Ayran on tap! But here too, Poker Face - no "sorry" and not even an alternative suggestion - they asked me "so, what are you ordering?" With & Without stands out with their Yaprak Steak Döner - it's the best in Zurich. The meat is perfect and, together with the freshly prepared bread, simply unbeatable. Perfect Kebab made in Switzerland, not Berlin. We chose the classic version of a chicken kebab and didn’t regret this decision. The meat was cut and then served on Pita bread 🍞. Latter is being made freshly in-house with attention to detail in every lot! Sauces and add-ons are beyond the standard. The hot sauce does the job very well. One additional Kebab had to be prepared for takeaway. It came in a recyclable box 📦 and the presentation was more than a surprise! At mit&ohne, they pay attention to detail! The staff helps and advises, if there are doubts or questions.

Doner kebab, almost as it should be. Chicken perfect and not over-seasoned, the sauces good and appropriate, the bread is record-breaking - no wonder, it comes fresh out of the oven every few minutes. What is really missing are meat alternatives, because ultimately a chicken kebab is just a substitute. It's a shame that people don't dare to go over it... The little waiting time is no problem in the stylish guest room, the landlord sets the mood, he is also a Bavarian... Really - it couldn't be better. I've been through all the better-known kebab stalls in Zurich - this is my current favorite...

Update06.01.2024 The steak kebab is getting worse and worse, apparently it is being optimized entrepreneurially - something is being weighed up but the customer doesn't know what? please leave out the chicken seasoning thyme or something similar... still very good because of the fresh bread/ some employees are very brisk - especially if the meat has been cut in advance - no difference to the CH pot kebab => proud price 17.50 CHF with WIEGE technology since the latest ... a little tip when something is weighed, the customer should already know what is being weighed, otherwise only one-sided - Update 01:2024 Recipe changed - Especially the steak kebab has only partly become minced kebab from the Champions League back to the top league :-( Best kebab - Germany was yesterday today you eat Yaprak Swiss kebab 1AAA - unfortunately Yaprak meat is only selectively available Chicken meat has a spice in it that worsens the taste - Yaprak kebab the best Fries -unnecessary - cold fries are fried again. The kebab is without a doubt very tasty. However, the waiting times over lunchtime are sometimes very demanding. It's not entirely clear to me why people are willing to wait in a long queue at the large selection of restaurants in Zurich. So if you don't feel like standing in line, just come at 11:30 a.m. and it'll be fine.

Findings after several visits: Kebab overpriced, tasted good, not exceptional or original. The staff looks at the female customers in a way that makes you feel embarrassed. The hygiene is a disaster!!! The employees are busy with everything else except the customer and his order. Concentration and focus of the participants is very poor and careless. We therefore strongly advise against this restaurant. Save yourself time, effort and other resources.

I’ve seen reviews online, people talking about it and apparently mit&ohne is the best kebab in Zurich, so I had to try it. Went for lunch with a friend, lot of people waiting to get in because the place was packed! And that’s a really good sign. Went in, ordered the classic with fries and truffle mayo. The hype was real and I can say that it was really delicious. Must try for everyone.

Been with and without for the first time. I ordered a klasik and ayran. Fast service. Loading different design makes you feel good. Except for one thing, I didn't really like the kebab. The cardamom spice was too intense. I assume it's the marinade. And frankly, with this price, the employee was a bit too economical when it came to filling the side dishes!! Service: Queue is too long and getting the food takes a while due to the bread being ready. (This can improve although worth the wait) Make sure to ask for plenty of meat in it! 😜 Atmosphere: Small place, good enough to eat, chat and go. After testing over 100 kebabs, this one is currently my number 1 with 9/10 points. The new Yaprak meat is excellent, juicy and tastes like beef. The bread is freshly baked and if you want, there are matching sauces to go with it. This is one of the few worthwhile kebabs in Switzerland. One of the places where I can feel at home. There is a diverse selection of dishes from Turkish and Italian cuisine here. My personal favorite, however, is the meat and fish. You should definitely try the 'Lokum', as recommended by Sezo, the owner
