Monsieur 14 in Lausanne

The gin-yuzu-elderberry cocktail was simply delicious and the meal was good. Weak point: too few animal-free options and the only vegetarian main course and cruelly poorly balanced from a nutritional point of view. Ultimately, it was more of a second starter or simple side dishes offered in slightly larger quantities than in a meat dish.

Discovered in a newspaper which sold the concept of pairing with cocktails, we arrived too late, concept canceled. The welcome and the service are very friendly, the setting is simple and the dishes are generally good. Excellent hunting (deer at 48.-), to which must be added pear, cabbage and fig (54 for 2 people) The scallops (at 47.-), although very good and well cooked, there were only 3 small ones on the plate. We are on a good table, with still high Lausanne prices. Easily accessible, Mon-Repos car park opposite

The setting, both charming and modern, offers a pleasant atmosphere. However, when it comes to the dishes, it seems that they are a little too sophisticated for their quality, which may make the value for money less satisfactory. The presentation of the dishes is rather pretty, but perhaps too complex for the type of cuisine offered. As for the atmosphere in the evening, it doesn't seem to live up to expectations, which is a bit disappointing.

We had a great time. The dishes are delicious and very well presented. The friendly and smiling staff. The coffee wasn't exceptional but that didn't stop us from having a great time.

Innovative, fusion, surprising and delicious cuisine

Second time I tried this place once for dinner and now for lunch. Last time I was impressed with the non alcoholic cocktails. But during bost visits, I found that for me personally the food is overspiced- today the salad had too much dressing, switched with my husband (the soup was very good), the main dish a risotto was very salty again. I also found that the lunch menu is not very original in terms of choices at all (salad/risotto or steak... ), rather basic really. It is a nice place though in terms of decoration, terrace is nice and service was prompt.

The 5 course tasting menu (Dare to Pair) was exceptional, especially the pork. The wine pairing was good, be aware that there are a lot of bio and biodynamic wines served along. Great service!

Followed by peas and chive gazpacho. Small plate: Tomato, mozzarella & Parmesan with olive oil salad light and fresh , veal and sea bass entrees superb! Wine from Domaine Du Daley, excellent local vineyard! A must visit for an exquisite meal experience! Bon Appetite!

Menu from Monsieur 14, very good value for money. Each dish with different flavors. Wines in harmony. Great time. The only thing we regretted was the departure of the bartender who had unusual cocktails. But too bad, the meal alone is worth the trip.

Common dish of the day, stir-fried chicken and overcooked vegetables all with the taste of soy sauce. No surprises, expedited service, cleaning of the neighboring table with a not very pleasant smelling product, good wines and we felt that at 2:10 p.m. we had to leave.

A beautiful moment shared between friends with original and very fine dishes. We chose the chef's surprise menu. Each dish was accompanied by a different wine. This allows you to make good or less good discoveries. For the less good ones, the sommelier offered us alternatives to our taste (at no extra cost). We appreciated the kindness of the staff. Pleasant decor, cozy atmosphere and daily menu at 38...the prices are fair at lunchtime and the meal is very good! In my opinion, there is a lack of gourmet desserts, few choices to finish the meal in style!

We had a wonderful dinner at Monsieur 14. We started with les petits pois and le thon rouge. Both were perfectly cooked and creatively presented. Next, we had le bar and l'entrecôte de boeuf. Again, we really enjoyed both dishes. For dessert, we shared le choux. Also delicious and a great way to end the meal. Across the board, the food quality and the plating were exceptional. The food was probably the most creative we saw in our entire stay in Switzerland. In many ways, it felt like this restaurant could fit in with the restaurants we typically go to in NYC. Highly recommend this restaurant for all who are in Lausanne.

Refined, surprising, exquisite cuisine.

The restaurant's menu is small, modern and cleverly thought out! As a starter I had red tuna in tataki, followed by grilled beef steak, mousseline, beef jus with red fruits. I finished with a chocolate dessert, but I have the impression that it is no longer on the menu! A delight! I almost forgot to tell you about the places and the decor which are magnificent!! I really liked this restaurant. It’s really a perfect little address for a date, or a special outing! I recommend!
