The only good thing about the carrot cake was the marzipan carrot, but hey, at least! The rest of the cake was dry and tasteless, similar to the service :)

Very good selection and friendly staff. To the complainers who live here but don't know the regional national language: why don't you learn German instead of demanding everyone else to know English?

The service is very bad, there were two women who serve behind the counter were always rude and arrogant. They expect you to know what to order the second you step in. If you hesitate to think or study the varieties, they will treat you like they never want you to come back. I stopped going there as I believe the service experience is no less important than the food.

My husband bought a raspberry muffin here and couldn't eat it, because it wasn't baked enough and doughy inside. I put it back in the oven now for 15 min at 180, and it is still slightly wet and doughy inside. It isn't from the raspberries, I don't see any. Even if there were, it wouldn't explain the doughiness. The taste is fine though.

I visit Moser’s from time to time for lunch as it is right across the road from my office. Overall, it’s a decent bakery and prices are below average for Zürich standards which is good. My 4-star review is a bit generous perhaps (ideally I would give it 3.5 if Google allowed it) as there are a many improvement opportunities. First of all, there are some vegan options but very few, which is just not good enough in 2021. Half of those available are not that great either so they should definitely work on expanding/improving their vegan offering. Secondly, they don’t speak English. They are located right in the center of Zürich’s business district surrounded by international banks and companies and it’s simply unacceptable that staff members don’t speak English. To be fair to them, some staff members understand a bit but it’s certainly not good enough. So in conclusion, if you are on a budget and you speak German then you may have a positive experience in Moser’s. Otherwise, there are certainly better options nearby.

Nice bakery - shame about the little stone I bit on in one of their expensive sandwiches. Didn't like the reaction of their sales staff either. Typically old school Swiss. First reaction. Doubt the veracity, then concede.
