Moudi in Zürich

“Mezze for me” plate, some are very good like hummus, others basic like tomato cereals. But overall good. Coming alone, I didn't have a table but a chair at the bar next to the entrance. Too bad, because there were a lot of free tables that weren't taken! And suffice to say that the service is express and somewhat cold. Damage

Very pleasant atmosphere and service! We went here to celebrate for a graduation dinner and the dishes were very tasty. As a group of four, we ordered one Veggie Mezze and one Mix Veggie Mezze which was plenty of food. The staff was very accommodating and helped us with the menu plus drinks. Will definitely come back again since it’s one of the best places for Lebanese food 🥘

The restaurant used to be really good, but has declined significantly. I can't recommend it more for Lebanese food.

Food good, service terrible. Cheeky, showy behavior, inappropriate sayings, very unsympathetic. We were very surprised... it's a shame, the food was very good.

There were six of us there and the food was delicious and fresh. At first glance, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The sofa right next to the toilet was very sagging and very uncomfortable for 3 of us. The service was very stressed and eloquent; Ordered items were only brought to the table when asked and then the wrong thing....didn't go down so well, especially since the German waiter kept briskly pointing out its origins! Would we go there again? - No, unfortunately not.

Nothing exceptional, slightly below average. The food looks like Lebanese and tastes something else. The beer was good and had a special taste, the wine was good: Domaine de tourelle Syrah de Liban 2016 . Value ratio price to quality and taste is not worthy.

The worst place to work is when I work in a restaurant. May you feel good like your family, but you will be laughed at and spoken incorrectly. hen you're kidding me with 21.- per hour even though your job is 25.- per hour. pure disappointment.

Top mezze, great service, staff and nice cozy restaurant...wines are a bit so so but I only tried one.

Every trip to Zürich I make sure I have at least one meal at Moudi’s. You MUST get the sampler plates — every one of the “dips” or small dishes is phenomenal. It’s like tapas but Lebanese. Wine selection and cocktails are great. Seriously one of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. In the warmer months, you can sit outside next to the water. If you prefer indoors, you’ll enjoy the eclectic old world decor. How many black cat silhouettes can you spy?

Even though we didn't have a reservation on Friday evening, we were able to dine there. The food was extremely good! Highly recommended.

Great service and absolutely fantastic food in a simple but nice & bohemian-style environment! Prices are very fair and that the restaurant is open Mondays saved our evening out dining. Definitely worth coming back!

The restaurant's outdoor terrace provides a delightful setting for enjoying a wonderful summer evening, accompanied by welcoming and friendly service. However, the food left something to be desired as it tended to be somewhat dry. The falafel, kibbeh, and baklava lacked the desired moisture. Additionally, it was a letdown to receive Thai spicy sauce in place of an expected fresh chili.

Unfortunately my experience was not what i expected from this place, especially for the price. Even though 2 of the 3 service staff were friendly, the kurkuma chicken ordered looked great but was not freshly cooked. The chicken seemed to haven been reheated, covered with a sweet sauce and served with fresh fries. The aftermath of this dinner, was a 2 day stomach disorder.

First time in this restaurant and was very satisfied. Very good hamburger served with fine sauces and not just run of the mill. I would love to come again.

I cannot express enough how much I adore Moudi Restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of authentic Lebanese cuisine and warm hospitality. I have been a loyal customer, visiting multiple times and also enjoying their delightful delivery service. The food is simply divine - bursting with flavors that transport me straight to Lebanon. The indoor seating area is beautifully adorned with traditional decor, creating an ambiance that adds to the overall experience. And let's not forget about their exceptional selection of teas and cocktails! Moudi Restaurant truly stands out as one of the best Lebanese restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining at.

Always great for an aperitif. Great location in the middle of the city. Think about it for a long time and just have mixed plates brought. Very tasty, but not exactly cheap either... but would happily go again. Reservation recommended

A gem of a place in Zurich . We ordered the Mezze platter . Not only was the food amazing but it looked delicious too . The staff were attentive and friendly . Overall, a good experience and I cannot wait to get back .

We just found it by luck as we were walking around Zurich. It is very nice in the terrace, with super friendly and English speaking staff. The food was a little bit pricey for what we took. We had a very tasty falafel burger with really nice side dips, but with only a few chips. The other dish we tried was literally toasted pita bread with some cheese and spices. The home lemonade with rose was super refreshing.

We went here as a group and had the mezze tasting at ~50 chf / person. It was good, but was not enough to have us full. The service was correct, and the terrasse all right although really in the shade and a bit windy

Very pleasant surprise. We ate hamburgers, excellent, medium in size and served with many delicious accompaniments. Excellent atention. Reasonable price for Zurich.

Nice place to have lunch in the sun and warmth in summer (right by the river) and despite the main road being in the immediate vicinity, it is pretty quiet. The food is good and solid, but the service is unfortunately very chaotic - the staff often don't know which table to bring the food to.

A few days ago we had dinner for 6 people. The food was very good and the service was friendly. What really bothered us was the loud music. At our request, the music was turned down a little but a short time later it was turned up again. What bothered us the most, however, was that we were thrown out after 2 hours. It is already stated in the reservation that the table is reserved for 2 hours. My mom just had the last bite in her mouth and then we had to leave the restaurant. We couldn't even order dessert. I don't think that's right. We ate and drank for several hundred francs and would probably have ordered more. That was the last visit. Next time we will go to the other restaurant again.

The waitress was very attentive and friendly, we enjoyed the food. Drinks selection was also good, Beirut Mule is my favorite.

One of my favorite lunch places when I work in Zurich, lots of outdoor space in the summer and cozy atmosphere inside as well. Works for afterwork too! My go-to is the vegetarian mezze plate with ginger ice tea.

Delicious mezze, but unfortunately one of two warm mezzes was cold. Cozy pavilion but the seating is a bit too narrow.

Food was ok, but nothing more. It cost a lot and you only got a little bread in return for about 4 different hummus and other spreads. Oh well.

Food is overrated, local is pretty ugly and the service is the worst. There are better restaurants in Zurich.

A little tight to squeeze into our place Very very good food and nice atmosphere. A little noisy but not disturbing Very quickly served and perfect price quality Recommended if you are in Zurich for Lebanese food.

After a delayed flight and being unable to make a reservation at another restaraunt, we were kindly accommodated on a Friday night at Moudi. The restaraunt was busy, the atmosphere was lively, and the food was of high quality. The waiter was kind and went out of his way to give us a recommendation and directions for things to do in Zurich the following day. We were very appreciative after a tiring day of travel and were left with a positive impression.

The food was very tasty and the service was also friendly. I would actually like to give it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the loud and, to my ears, very bad club music. It was a bit of a shame for the ambience.

At first glance it was cozy, the food was good and I was served by an extremely attentive and courteous waitress. A little later, however, I witnessed a scene that I have never experienced in a restaurant and would hate to experience again. Another waiter became extremely loud, unfriendly, if not rude and insulting to the aforementioned waitress, and this in (in my opinion) a very unfair and unprofessional manner. The waitress, whom he insulted and personally insulted, also seemed shocked and it probably affected her very much. I no longer want to support such a working atmosphere, which is why this was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

The taste was bad, the samosas and fatayer were too tough to finish, the kibbeh was normal, the free fries were less than normal...the falafel salad was delicious.

First of all: The food was delicious! Unfortunately, the repetitive waiting times are not very acceptable, especially when the restaurant is only half full. The drink was delivered quickly, then nothing happened for a long time until the food could be ordered. Good to know: The "normal" menu is veggie, although I wonder why it's labeled veggie... that's fine... but what absolutely doesn't fit is the tiny skewer for a hefty CHF 5 extra charge. You can't order a second set of flatbreads with the mezze. In any case, my order wasn't brought and the waiter didn't show up either. Pretty annoying! You then had to wait quite a long time to pay. I really wonder what people do when the place is buzzing. Particularly disturbing: When I go out, after all my waiting at lunchtime, I see some of the staff having lunch. In my opinion, a no-go as a catering business. I probably won't come back, I don't feel like doing any of that or I have many better alternatives in the area. It's a shame because - as already noted - the food was fine.

Terrible service from the service manager - extremely unfriendly, slow and uncoordinated. After our complaint, our dinner was literally sabotaged. I have never experienced anything like this in 40 years of regular visits to restaurants. Never again Moudi Bar! It's a shame about the beautiful location.

No single lebanese guy works there, it is all swiss people so I expected the food to not be good. But surprisingly excellent delicious food. I ordered the burger (yeah lebanese spot making burgers, don’t ask me @_@) but it was good. Hummus with tomatoes and green onions on it (sounds weird but actually super good), decent Falafel

I’m giving 5 stars because of the excellent service. The girl that looked after our table was very helpful and gave us all the right recommendations. Food was good too, perhaps portions a bit small and would have been nice to have more bread for all those dips. The location is also good. You have table outsides right next to the river and some in the covered area or indoor.

Honestly, I don't understand negative reviews at all. I was on a short trip to Zurich at the end of May and happened to stop by. The staff was very friendly, almost familiar. Service: As I suspect, I was personally served by the boss, everything was explained to me (no idea about Lebanese food), my questions were patiently answered and my wishes were fulfilled. Although the restaurant was full at lunchtime, the staff took time for each guest. Thank you for making the guest feel special and not just a customer. Kind regards to MOUDI from Vienna

Good food and friendly service from waiters but the manager(?) (lady with blue hair) scolded a waiter in front of everyone, and this was very obvious and the waiter was embarrassed and this is simply not okay, unprofessional and not nice for anyone.

I absolutely don't understand some of the negative reviews here today - excellent food as always. Hard to speak of the staff, as always very friendly, motivated and in a good mood. We check regularly whether everything is going well, even though sometimes there is a lot going on. The food is absolutely fantastic and I don't even want to talk about the mojitos. The ambience invites you to linger Some restaurants can really learn a lesson here. The music is also top-notch. We'd love to come back and look forward to it. Thank you for this great effort.

Nice location (right by the small river in the center of Zurich), with outside seating available in summer. Great selection of vegetarian and vegan food available. Very tasty food. Personnel is very friendly. Good location to bring your family or to have a business lunch/dinnner.
