For the third or fourth (and now last) time yesterday October 15th. early afternoon, waiter sees us new at the table in Marktgasse, no hello, nothing. When serving and clearing away, no "hello", no "I'll come to you" or anything similar, so that you know he has noticed the guests. 20 minutes later, 10 of which we didn't see again, we left again. 250 m further, we were just about to sit down in the outside area of ​​another café and first had our hand on the chair: "Grüezi, please take a seat, I'll be with you in a moment", then friendly and recommendable order acceptance, blankets in return without being asked Brought a breath of fresh air, independent inquiries about whether wishes are unfulfilled... We enjoyed a hearty brunch and celebrated a birthday with the family. I was invited.

Excellent salad with a delicious mustard-honey dressing. The homemade bread is also a real culinary delight. The homemade iced tea tastes delicious. The atmosphere is nice with a direct view of the Rhine. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back!

That was not nice. It was raining and the four of us with our two children had been cycling for almost three hours. It looked inviting here. So we asked the waiter who was standing outside where we could park the bikes so we could have something to eat. He didn't know either, he said and went inside. Actually, we could have guessed that this wasn't a good address today. Anyway, we parked our bikes three houses away, locked them all together, with our luggage in plain sight. When we entered the restaurant, the waiter said he had no room and that everything had been reserved. Thank you very much, you could have said that earlier! Now we had to go back out into the rain, unravel the wheels and find something else to do. I recommend a German course to the waiter. No, that's not racist. I don't think he understood us at all at the beginning. Edit: The great way in which my criticism was responded to prompted me to give it three stars instead of just one.

This was our first time dinner at MundArt. Already arriving at the doorstep we were warmly welcomed by the manager. The ambiance in the restaurant is as if you'd walk in to your own home. Pretty decorated, with a stunning view to the Rhein river. The Chef himself stood in front of the guests, explaining the menu. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and so tasty that I could go on and on raving about it. The service team and the manager were always present, making sure no glass dries up. If there was a 6th star to give away for this lovely place,I'd have given it without a second thought. Thank you very much.

Beautiful place to slow down in the heart of the old town in Rheinfelden Switzerland, very friendly welcome, we wanted to share a "small" breakfast (we preferred it because we weren't hungry), when we asked if there was breakfast, we warmly replied in the affirmative We looked for a seat, sat down and studied the menu, immediately afterwards a waiter came and started setting up the dishes, cutlery, cake stand with sugar and coffee cream, then he looked at us and asked twice about brunch? Then we say that the quantity is too much for us and we want the small breakfast once (we had specifically asked) in order to share it (as planned), then he says "Today only brunch 28 Sfr. !!! per person that But it was really too much for us, so we had a delicious latte macchiatto and a fluffy, fine croissant. The table was cleared away a little rough, while studying the very opulent BRUNCH menu we noticed that the buffet had everything that was included in the small breakfast would have been included, it's a shame that the customer does NOT have the opportunity to choose either EVERYTHING or nothing, an employee could have put together a small breakfast from the buffet. Especially in this day and age of food waste, as the owner of a coffee shop I would be happy for every roll that was "used instead of wasted". Maybe this review will encourage us to change something, I come from the catering industry myself and know how much is thrown away at a buffet like this . It was still a nice stay if we had been able to have breakfast as planned it would have been 5 stars.

This is a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Rheinfelden, in the pedestrian zone. The service is super friendly. You can sit outside while enjoying the sun, have a couple of drinks and enjoy the freshly made plates or tarts.

The mundArt in Rheinfelden with its kind-hearted people, i.e. the whole team, is a second home for us :-). You feel well looked after, warmly welcomed and are treated to a variety of fine dishes. As soon as the chairs and tables are set up in the morning, our market alley comes to life and color. We feel sad on your rest day or when you are even on vacation. Thank you very much for the soothing and beautiful atmosphere with you, your warm and happy energy, be it -5 or +37 degrees on the terrace and for always pampering us from the kitchen.

Local located in the center of Rheinfelden along the Rhine river. From inside you can enjoy a beautiful and relaxing view. The staff quickly found us accommodation, even though we hadn't booked, and were very quick with their service. The food served with the menu of the day was of quality and hot. Very fair price, salad, main course = approx. 20chf. A visit is highly recommended.

We were able to enjoy Sunday brunch with an idyllic view of the Rhine. The service was very courteous and quick. The buffet has fresh, home-made things: for example, plaited bread, jams and the fruit salad is not just fresh from a can. There is something small to say: the small room was full and the background noise was therefore difficult for conversations at the table. Perhaps this aspect can be taken into account in future renovations. But we really enjoyed the brunch and would be happy to come back for lunch or dinner.

Been there twice, served unfriendly twice. There is no ability to take criticism, I think being left sitting with empty glasses for over 30 minutes is a bit too long. Apparently the store is doing too well, I don't want to hear the complaining when there's another lockdown, instead of being happy that it's running, it's better to show the customer how little they are valued. Nice ambience and great Sunday brunch in the beautiful old town in Rheinfelden. My colleague is vegan and she was given a great selection of vegan yoghurts, margarine and soy milk. So she was able to create a muesli according to her taste. Her homemade baguette, which is highly recommended, was also vegan. There was also homemade jam, homemade braid - wow, a real taste experience. Dear staff - what more could you want?

Disappointment. I wanted to order the lunch menu with meat alone at 11:55 a.m. The friendly waitress told me that wouldn't be possible because it was already sold out or only for the tables that had reserved in advance. There seems to be something wrong with the planning/purchasing or it should be clearly stated on the website “meat menu only with reservation”. At a later time or with a larger group I would have understood that there was no more meat, but not for just one person at 12 o'clock... It's a shame, actually a nice location and concept.
