Myvi's in Zürich

This is the only restaurant where you order, the waiter runs off, literally leaves out the front door, and comes back several minutes later with what looks like dried noodles for your pho. Very strange. So the time between your order and the food finally arriving is doubled. So take that into account if you eat here. On the positive side at least you know the food hasn’t been sitting around for a while :) Also if you need to use the restroom you must physically exit the restaurant and walk Nextdoor. Very odd. Service - 1 star for coughing and then rubbing your nose with your hands and then serving people Summer roll - 1 star tiny portion, no flavor, really bad Chicken Pho - 2 stars. no plum sauce in the entire building. Chopsticks not offered either. Thats a first. Portion was fine, broth was bland.

Lovely Vietnamese food in Zurich...must visit...

A very nice place in Zurich to get Thai food. It's in one of the small alleys but easy to find. Plenty of patio as well as inside seating. Very friendly and helpful staff. Seems like a mom and pop kind of establishment. Didn't see any other waiters around to help.

Location: it's only a 7 minute walk from the main train station. Also it's not directly at the busy 'Niederdörfli' Mainstreet and therefore a little calmer. The room is super cute decorated and they have about 8 tables outside. Restaurant: I had 3 things Starter: had no taste Menu: the green curry wasn't a green Curry. When I asked her, to make sure, she insisted. But I guess the service didn't wanted to admit their mistake. Cocktail: had disappointingly barely alcohol and was watered down. Service: she barely spoke German, but was friendly. Bathroom: it was okey Summary: I won't go again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Very poor Vietnamese food. We ordered the summer roll with chicken and prawn and the pho soup, one with beef and one with chicken. The summer roll literally had one prawn cut in half and a tiny sliver of spongy chicken. 90% of it, I.e. the rest of the roll, was rice noodles and iceberg lettuce, a few beansprouts and a couple mint leaves. The roll was not tightly rolled so one bite and the whole thing fell apart. The rice paper tasted stale. The soup was very basic: broth, rice noodles, a few pieces of meat, and a sprinkle of bean sprouts and cilantro. The chicken was spongy. Again, about 90% of the soup was rice noodles. The broth was salty and lacked the deep meat flavour of a good traditional pho. The home made ice tea had a few very sad looking mint leaves on it, I guess an attempt to disguise the rather poor tea concoction. Very disappointing all together. Will not be back. Zurich has far better Vietnamese food to offer and this place is frankly an insult to Vietnamese food culture.

Please avoid, there is no relation to Vietnamese food whatsoever. The seating outside was nice.

The place looks great (very yellow!) and is very centrally located. There were plenty of places to sit, and we were attended right away. Service was correct and quick. But the food is bad. We had two different soups and neither was good. Chicken was undercooked, the broths were watery, shrimps were big but raw. Prices were slightly above average for other Vietnamese places but completely unjustified given the food quality. Looking at other reviews, we should have avoided the soups. I strongly recommend you do not order them if you visit. Overall, an underwhelming experience that I cannot recommend.

Food was ok, but we had to wait over 90 minutes for the food and therefore missed the start of a concert. Drinks were never asked for again, meaning 90 minutes for 1 drink, without food.

The food (we had Pho) was bland. The soup base for the Pho was a ready-made bouillon. Spices like star anise, cinnamon, cardamom etc. that you would find in a good Pho were completely missing. It's a shame, because everyone knows that the broth is central to soups and that ready-made broth tastes different than homemade broth. No summer rolls, which was one of the reasons I went to a vietnamese restaurant for dinner. 1 person serving 12+ tables (so you can imagine how the service is). I only saw 1 wait staff the entire evening - for the whole restaurant. Food was OK - def not memorable. Won't be a repeat visitor.

We observed dishes with copious amounts of coriander served to a table near by, when told that one of the ladies were allergic and couldn’t eat the dish both cook and waiter became very rude to these guests. ( even though coriander was not in the discription of said dish ) The bill was paid minus the dishes that was inedible - the cook ran after the lady grabbing her by the arm and pushed her , she was very distressed as I was as a observer . For myself when I got home my own stomach was upset by the food - overall a dreadful experience …..

Small but nice Vietnamese restaurant in Niederdörfli. I stopped by spontaneously in the evening during the week. Get a table without any problem. It was sparsely attended with only one other table. During the Covid certificate check, the owner immediately addressed me in Vietnamese when she read my name. 🙈 The appetizer came quickly and the main course Bun Bo Hue was served shortly afterwards. I liked it and the prices are okay. One star deducted for my wobbly table, but definitely worth repeating.
