Très bon asiatique. Pose déjeuner en terrasse. Tout était très bon et bien assaisonné. Nous avons choisi "Si Chuan Nudelsuppe" : soupe avec poulet, tofu, œufs, bambou, champignons et nouilles; "Gebratener Wasserspinat" (choux chinois en salade) et "Gebratener ente Kantones" (canard) avec " choix de riz chinois ou thaï. Le personnel est sympathique. Un peu de manque de place en terrasse avec distance entre tables non respectées. Coût moyen.

Für Zürcher Verhältnisse ein absolut preiswertes Restaurant. Auch wenn natürlich kein 5 Sterne Service geboten wurde, so war das Essen gut und der Service freundlich. Das Essen war schnell serviert und das Restaurant machte einen sauberen Eindruck. Es gibt sowohl Essen zum Mitnehmen und Tische mit Bedienung vor Ort.

Tropecé con esto por casualidad y volví 2 noches consecutivas! Hermosa comida asiática, e increíblemente barata para los estándares de Zurich. Si buscas comida asiática fresca y con buena relación calidad-precio, no creo que encuentres mucho mejor que esto.

Mi mejor amigo y yo estábamos paseando por el centro de la ciudad de Zúrich cuando nos encontramos accidentalmente fuera de este restaurante mirando el menú. Los platos parecían deliciosos, los precios muy razonables y el ambiente del restaurante encantador. Entonces, decidimos almorzar allí y fue la mejor decisión del día. Los platos eran increíbles y deliciosos! ! Cada uno de ellos. No me puedo quejar de nada. Probamos sopas, albóndigas, ensalada de papaya, curry verde, rollitos de primavera. ¡Oh mi! ¡Tengo muchas ganas de volver a visitar este lugar! !

Wir haben hier chinesische Vorspeisen bestellt. Es gab viele vegane und vegetarische Produkte. Wir hatten Tofu und Brokkoli, chinesisches Baby Bok Choy und einige Nudeln. Alles war gut. Wir waren schon in chinesischen Restaurants und dieses Hotel ist nicht schlecht. Der Service war in Ordnung.

bedienung sehr freundlich, ambiente wirklich schön, die auswahl sehr groß, die portionen ausreichend und sättigend. punktabzug weil es ich extra noch sagte, das ich es sehr scharf sein soll, diesem wunsch aber nicht erfüllt wurde. es war dennoch sehr lecker und ist zu empfehlen.

Super freundliche Bedienung und eines der besten Thai- Currys, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis auch sehr gut! Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

We stopped here for lunch as we were craving something different and really liked it! We both had rice with satay sauce and chicken / beef and it was delicious! The price is a bit much but everything is priced high here - the service was good and the seating outside in the sun was also a bonus!

Para un indio que está acostumbrado a la cocina indochina, este restaurante cumplió el deseo de mis papilas gustativas. Me gustó tanto la comida que fui allí dos veces. Das Restaurant bietet ein sehr schönes ambiente. Die bedienung ist sehr nett und schnell. Das Essen kommt sehr schnell, leider sind es zum teil kleine Portionen. Es ist sehr billig und gut für ein Familienessen aller Art! Es gibt sehr gute Sweet-Sour Sauce. Die Bedienung ist herzlich, und sagt wenn etwas scharf ist zu warnung, dass man micht etwas bestellt das mann nicht mag. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen. The only good point of this restaurant is that it is well located. I did not like the food and found the price we paid very high considering the poor quality. Definetly I do not recommend this place.

Visited Zurich for the Xmas and New Year breaks from US. Walked in the restaurant and ordered soups and three main dishes with four bowls of white rices for my family. Found out the rice was not fully cooked when they served the first dish. Talked with the manager，he replaced one of three bowls and said that he will replace the other，but he never come back.

We ate dinner here and it was very good. Service was excellent and staff was very attentive. Food is expensive in Zurich and we ate very well for a reasonable amount of money. They have a huge variety of Chinese,Vietnamese and Thai entrees. Wine and beer are also priced reasonable.

Optisch sieht es gut aus, aus diesem Grund gingen wir auch rein. Die Wantansuppe ist keine klassische Wantansuppe wie ich sie als Asiatin kenne. Aber ich weiss aus Erfahrung, dass es nicht einfach ist eine gute Wantansuppe zu finden. Als Hauptgang bestellten wir Rind süss sauer und Ente in Orangensauce mit Fried Rice. Ente und Reis waren in Ordnung aber das Rind süssauer war das schlechteste was ich je in einem asiatischen Restaurant gegessen habe. Das war Fleisch war wie paniert und frittiert. Wenn man reinbeisste was einfach nur trocken und es hatte null Geschmack. Ich konnte nicht einmal definieren, dass das überhaupt Fleisch war. Sorry aber ich kanns nicht anders sagen: hässlich!Die Servierfrau bemerkte denn vollen Teller und fragte auch. Ich sagte ihr es ist einfach nicht gut. Ich finde wenn man sieht, dass der Kunde unzufrieden war sollte das Personal so eingeschult sein um bei solchen Gästen schauen dass man da irgendwie entgegen kommt. Schliesslich bezahlten wir diese Fr. 17.- od 18.- für nichts. Ich werde dieses Lokal sicher nie mehr betreten und nicht weiterempfehlen!

Nachdem wir sehr früh morgens aus Australien eingeflogen waren, wollten wir früh zu Abend essen. Wir kamen über diesen Ort während wir durch die Altstadt wanderten. Die Preise schienen angemessen. Wir bestellten vegetarische Teigtaschen, Papayasalat und Hühnchenpfanne mit Chili und Basilikum. Die Knödel waren in Ordnung, ein wenig verbrannt, und warum dienen sie nur 3, wenn zwei Leute essen? ? ? ? Papayasalat war lecker und das Rühren braten war auch gut. Schöne Aromen und genug für zwei von uns zu teilen. Ein Glas Wein und Bier brachte auch die Rechnung auf 48. 00 Schweizer Franken. Nicht schlecht in Anbetracht der Lage. Ich würde es empfehlen, schöne, saubere Einrichtung und die Kellnerin war gut.

Das Chicken Cashew sollte gem. Menu Thailändisch sein. Ausser der hübschen Lotusblume war es dann eher Bratensauce a la Maggi. Anstelle Koriander wurde grosszügig Petersilie verwendet. Kann mich nicht erinnern dies je bei einem Asiatischen Menü gehabt zu haben. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend und ich kann leider nur abraten.

Suan Long in der Altstadt serviert überwiegend chinesisches Essen, hat aber auch eine Mischung aus anderen asiatischen Optionen. Der Papayasalat war ein wenig geschmacklos, aber Mapa Tofu, scharfes Schweinefleisch in Soße und Freund Reis waren ziemlich gut. Die Portionen sind von guter Größe.

A very nice restaurant in the old town, among all kinds of restaurants. We had a dinner there and ordered a number of noodles. All were very good. Highly recomended.

We were a little concerned about the mixed reviews but have no fear - this place was great. Not a lot is open on Sundays but we arrived in town famished and this was close by and available. The food was freshly prepared and the spicy dishes were indeed spicy - we’ve found most Swiss food to be fairly bland so this was welcome. I especially enjoyed my ‘Cambodian style’ mixed vegetable salad but tasted everything at our table of four and it was all good. Outside table provided excellent people watching in Old Town. Waitress was friendly and helpful.

Pleasant restaurant with good food, service... Ok to quite good. Girls are friendly but not always well responsive to the customers' needs. They are not the best organised, especially when it's busy. Once you have your meal, you might be waiting for a long time to be able to order refill, another drink or desert. But not always. Don't see it as a rule. Food and decor is kind of a mix. European with Asian influence. Nothing special, but pleasant place to stop and eat. Prices are also good for Zurich...

Located on pedestrian friendly Niederdorfstrasse, Suan Long is one of several restaurants along this street, and relatively new. Which is why I wanted to give it a try. I was there late, so it wasn't terribly busy. The stylish interior provided a warm atmosphere to dine in. Suan Long's menu has a mix of Asian dishes, primarily Chinese and Thai. While not particularly inventive, there was a nice mix. The dish I had was good, but nothing much beyond that. By Zürich standards, the prices were reasonable. I should mention that rice is an additional 3 Swiss francs. Beer, wine and mixed drinks are available.Service was quick and friendly. Credit cards are available. Noise level was moderate. Some outdoor seating is available. Solid Asian cuisine.

I’m not sure if there is anything you can like about this place. Service was slow and disorganized. The Pad Thai I ordered was the worst I had in all my life. Sorry but you need to rethink how you make your food and how you serve it.

Ich war vor kurzem in diesem Restaurant und habe mich generell gefragt, was es dort überhaupt macht. Genau daneben gibt es ein tolles China Restaurant "Chop Stick", sowie um die Ecke "Zhong Hua", welches auch sehr gute Mittagsangebote hat. Nun würde man annehmen Suan Long hat im Niederdorf aufgemacht, um irgendwo konkurrenzfähig zu sein. Weit gefehlt.Das Essen ist 0815, genauso panasiatisch, wie auch die anderen Suan Longs. Preise- wenn man im Mittagsmenü nichts ausgewählt hat- überteuert. Jedoch der absolute Hammer für mich: weisser Reis als Beilage wurde berechnet! Was ist das für ein chinesisches/asiatisches Restaurant, wo einem die Beilage, die überall sonst als selbstverständlich gilt, zahlen muss?! eine absolute Frechheit und ein NOGO. Bschiss und versteckte Kosten. Im Anhang die Rechnung!Service war auch nicht gerade prickelnd. Man hat einmal das Gericht verwechselt, und es ist nie jemand da, wenn man die Rechnung verlangen will.Bei 2x tollen Chinarestaurants um die Ecke werde ich sicherlich nie wieder zu Suan Long gehen!

Das Pad Thai war sehr gut. Zu den Currygerichten muss man sich den Reis separat bestellen. Die Portionen sind sehr ausreichend. Es ging sehr fix, nachdem man bestellt hatte.

Walking back to hotel from the State Museum we decided to try Suan Long for dinner, and were quite pleased with the result. Green curry chicken was tasty and not too spicy, and orange duck perfumed with zest. Big mounds of steamed rice filled out the meal. Service was attentive and friendly, and the price entirely reasonable.

There is nothing terribly wrong with this place, nice décor, quick service a reasonable menu and moderate (but not cheap) prices. However if you have had really good Asian food then you will realise that this is a bit of a mixed bag. The food is generic 'Asian' as opposed to Thai, Korean, Singapore etc. The dishes are not as spicy as they threaten to be (this is not uncommon in Zurich) but as a result any nod towards lip tingling Thai food is lost and this becomes more like a good Chinese takeaway. I am not sure what other Asian food in Zurich is like, I would hope that it is possible to do better than this.

The Restaurant was not too busy when we went here last Monday evening. Service was friendly and no long waiting for Drinks or food. The menu is large with many options, and meat/fish options can be adjusted to almost any dish. Quality of the food was ok, nothing Special. The fried rice was nice with the ham in it. Since, Suan Long as several restaurants, and everyone taste are different, sometimes it is hard to make a clear judgment among reviews, These franchise have different owners and cook, you can have a really good cook at one restaurant and try another restaurant from the same brand and being disappointed.My review is about the Suan Long restaurant located at Niederdorfstrasse 45-47, 8001 in ZurichWalking throughout the street of Zurich, we came across this restaurant with a lot of customers, we entered and ask a few customer feedback about the food, most of them did like it and were returning customers. Once we got back to the hotel, we look at reviews on Tripadvisor, we could not decide because of the mixed opinions. So we decided to give it a try and find out by ourselves. We had our meal sitting outside on a nice sunny day enjoying people walking around, We had fried and steamed dumplings and a Vietnamese chicken soup, We preferred the steamed dumplings over the fried one, the but both were delicious, the soup was also very good and tasty. According to our experience, the service we received and being very picky on food quality, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Asian cuisine, since you are in Switzerland, it’s a good value for the money as mentioned previously by other reviewers. Do not expect extraordinary cuisine or fine cuisine you will be disappointed but for an average good Chinese meal there is nothing wrong with this restaurant and we will go back on our next trip to try something else. The restaurant can accommodate several people, it is clean, and the ambiance is good. They also have small table if you rather have your meal outside. The menu is very diverse and has a wide choice to choose from. Our waitress, Jasmin, was smiling all the time, she took time to speak with us because it was not so busy and she gave us an English Menu and we received an outstanding service, she was also very helpful to help us make a decision when the time to order came.

After a visit to the Grossmunster Church we took a stroll through the old Town, Zurich. The restaurant offers good Chinese food and the price is nominal. The service is missing though.

Eines der besten Pad Thai in Zürich! Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr angenehmes Ambiente im Restaurant. Service ist lustig und freundlich, super für einen gemütlichen Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Service heute war, eine Katastrophe. Zuerst wurde die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen. Das ist gut und recht. Jedoch ist diese erst nach 20 minuten angekommen trotz wiederholltem Nachfragen. Der Kellner der und bedient hatte, hatte uns strickt vergessen und gab mal ein lautes Oh von sich. Nach einer guten halben Stunde wurde die Essensbestellung aufgenommen. Zwei von drei Gerichten kamen nach einer kurzen warte zeit und das dritte hatten sie vergessen und die Bediehnung wusste nicht was noch fehlte. Ganz traurig. Die Rechnung wurde sehr schnell gebracht, jedoch stellte sich heraus das die Zitrone im Wasser ebenso verrechnet wird. Richtig ärgerlich.

Sollte man ein Lokal für ein schnelles Essen suchen ist man hier richtig. Alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Von einigen Tischen hat meinen Einblick in die Küche. Die Preise und der Geschmack der Speisen gehen in Ordnung. Service bis zur 1. Bestellung ist schnell, sollte man aber noch eine weitere Bestellung aufgeben wollen, dauert es. Umfangreiche Speisekarte mit verschiedenen Gerichten mit Fleisch, Fisch und Meeresgetier aber auch vegetarisch.

Das Essen ist austauschbar. Die Nudeln eher auf der weichen Seite. Das Chop Suy ist ziemlich geschmacklos Das Essen kommt schnell, die Bedienung ist mehr oder weniger freundlich. Es gibt definitiv besseres.

Entiendo que Zurich es caro, pero aquí pagas la cantidad. Si bien es verdad que el plato principal es muy abundante, la comida es aceitosa y no hablan inglés. A mí se me repitió el plato de fideos de arroz un día entero.

We paid 130 Swiss Frank's for 4 main meals and 4 drinks for this area it is on the cheaper option. The food was okay although it didn't all arrive together. Portion sizes were about right as long as you don't have a large appetite. I had fish with one star for spices it was hotter than I expected but nice.
