Niki's restaurant bar & sweets in Lugano

Good morning. We are neighbors and live right next to your bar. Last night you heard loud music with extremely strong bass again. That's why we couldn't sleep for 4 hours. We hear strong bass even when we sleep. Even our neighbors feel disturbed. Can you please turn down the music after 10pm so that it is no longer a problem for us. we feel helpless. Every time your guests enter or exit the door, which is every 5 minutes, you hear the music even louder! Please don't forget that this is a residential area 🏠 which should be quiet after 10pm. It can't be that I can't sleep half the night because of you. As a resident, you wouldn't want to have to try to sleep next to a bar that was too loud. Loud voices from guests outside don't make things any better. There is also some screaming. Last night I managed to sleep at 2.30pm instead of 10pm/11pm. This really gets on my nerves. Please understand that it should be quieter after 10pm, even if you have permission. Let's hope this improves in the future. Best regards

Very welcoming place with a central counter that allows you to see it from 360 degrees. Very kind and professional staff. Excellent food! Fish cooked to perfection and very fresh, including the first courses (I highly recommend the risotto!). It has a lot of choice, menu of the day with various first/second courses if you are in a hurry and a well-selected a la carte menu. Fast but quality service. We found ourselves there for a company lunch and I also highly recommend it for families. I will definitely go back

On a business trip to Lugano this week I was recommended this restaurant to try for lunch. The food was excellent and the service quick, friendly and efficient. It’s clearly popular locally and I can see why it was so busy. It’s rare to find a place that works for a business lunch, but also has exceptionally good food, but this place definitely gets it right. Our server Alex also spoke excellent Italian and English which made things easier for my colleagues from the London office. Surprising to find such a good chef in a fairly low key restaurant - but a pleasure to do so.

Cozy environment excellent for breakfast, lunch or aperitif. Friendly and helpful staff. Good cooking. Possibility to organize events. Ask the manager who is always kind and helpful

I stopped here with clients for a business lunch. Delicious food, lovely and responsive staff. The filetto d’orata alla Mediterranea was exquisite and I appreciated the fact that the waitress gave us a table in a private and quiet corner. Definitely recommended.

A nice place to drink and have fun with friends, you make new acquaintances. The people who frequent these disco bars are between 16 and 30 years old. I recommend it if you celebrate birthdays or similar parties!!!

Fui allí en mi hora de almuerzo. El servicio fue impecable y muy amable. Los platos estaban bien preparados y las raciones muy buenas por cierto. El ambiente es acogedor y cálido con un buen ambiente y buena música. Parece que hacen buenas bebidas por la noche pero no las han probado, pero te mantendrán informado. . . .

Siamo stati qui a pranzo, un pranzo veloce consumato in meno di 20 minuti. Ho preso un polpo scottato e alla piastra con insalata e patate. Decisamente buono. Un caffè per concludere rapidamente e andare ad un appuntamento. Ottima compagnia e buon servizio.

Mancavo a Lugano da più di due anni e mi sono accorto che la vecchia trattoria dove ero solito mangiare con i miei colleghi era stata trasformata in un ristorante moderno ed elegante quindi ho deciso di fermarmi a pranzare con un amico. La cucina è davvero buona e le cameriere cordiali e veloci. La carta dei vini è un po’ ridotta ma quelli che hanno sono davvero buoni (per lo più ticinesi, toscani e campani). A fine pasto abbiamo assaggiato dei pasticcini di loro produzione e devo dire che anche quelli erano molto buoni.

Ho pranzato con la mia ragazza in questo locale ed entrambi siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Cibo davvero ottimo (abbiamo ordinato delle tagliatelle fatte a mano) e la location allestita in modo molto fine ed elegante. Servizio non velocissimo ma comprensibile dato che il locale era quasi tutto pieno al momento del pranzo. Ottima Esperienza

Il cibo ok ma la cameriera arrogante e antipatica, poi ho chiesto una cosa è mi è arrivato altro.!!!!

Classic red herring. From the outside everything is nice, cool, new.... And then.... inside.... nothing special. Classic bar run by Italians.... "Italian style" advertise themselves as a breakfast bar, and at 09.45 there was nothing left to eat..... Toilets in pitiful conditions. Toilet blocked with 2 cm of water from the drain on the floor, broken switches with risk of shock, paper towel dispenser empty and broken. It's enough? Place totally rejected!

Locale di recente apertura vicino all'autosilo Balestra, piacevolmente arredato e luminoso.Ci sono stato un paio di volte a pranzo ed il cibo offerto è sicuramente di buona qualità e ben cucinato. E' offerto un menù alla carta oltre a dei piatti del giorno.Personale di sala gentile ed attento.Prezzi nella media per la città di Lugano.Non ho apprezzato il fatto che dell'offerta "business lunch" descritta sulla lavagna situata fuori dalla porta del locale non si trovi traccia né sul menù né sulla carta dei piatti del giorno. Forse avremmo dovuto chiedere perché nemmeno il personale di sala ne ha fatto cenno: spero sia stata solo una dimenticanza.Un dettaglio che suggerirei di rivedere: i cestini del pane fatti di stoffa che non trovo molto igienici.

Mi sono fermata per un cappuccino. Sabato mattina il locale era praticamente vuoto, il servizio non proprio celere. Dispone anche di una pasticceria. Ampio spazio di miglioramento, ... è necessario impegnarsi ancora un po' per far funzionare questo nuovo locale in centro a Lugano.
