This is the best place to have a very special drink in the city. First, the ambiance of the bar and the interior design is stunning, modern, and very stylish! Second, the service is awesome, the bar tenders/servers are super attentive (kudos to Andrew and Telmo) and very knowledgeable. Third, the concept of a changing menu based on themes is very unique. Cocktails are inspired by different stories and change a few times a year. So drinks here are totally unique and we have not come across a concept like this anywhere in the world. Each drink is delicious and unique, be open minded and try a few of them on a menu. We will be back to this place for sure!

Extraordinary cocktail bar with many of our own creations. Who makes their own banana soda anyway? With the cocktail you usually get a suitable little something, e.g. banana bread, vegan caviar,... We had a great evening and will definitely go back.

Wonderful cocktails in an elegant, but not imposing setting. A nice proper modern cocktail bar that focuses on what you get in your glass. A bit expensive, but as compared to other places in the city, the cocktails are totally worth the extra couple of francs. Would highly recommend if you like modern, creative and well-balanced cocktails.

No idea bar is my favorite in Zurich and maybe in all Switzerland… creative and multilayered cocktails, friendly and welcoming staff… great atmosphere and perfect volume of lounge music for dates, after work and special occasions!

This is one of the best bars I've visited in a long time! The love for the cocktails is simply wonderful and you can taste it. A great concept with great creations. Some cocktails even come with a small bite to go with the drink. There will be something for everyone. The service is also excellent. The mixologists have a clue and that is important with these special combinations. The bar is very stylish and has a warm atmosphere. We would love to come back 🥂

The bar has unique cocktails and their menu changes every few months. They explain the concept/story behind the creation of the cocktail and one has to be prepared for a surprise. They have a standard list too. The food choice was unique but taste inclined towards average. Service gets full points and the interiors were like a elegant drawing room. Attention to detail is unmatched, the staff are passionate and knowledgeable about their craft and the finished product is like tasting a piece of artwork. We visited No idea bar on a friday evening and planned to have dinner and some drinks. There were not many guests in the bar that evening. The service was very professional and friendly. By the time we visited, you could choose from 14 drinks with a different colour. There were 4 non-alcoholic drinks available. The food high quality and tasted very good. Nevertheless we were still hungry when we left and for us it was too pricy to order more dishes at No Idea bar. Overall, prices were in the upper range of great cocktailbars in Zurich. I would recommend to come here for an after work drink.

Only a short walk away from Bellevue and delightful place to while away an evening drinking outstanding cocktails. It is equally wonderful lounging out on the terrace in summer as it is sitting in the beautifully designed bar. Having lived in London and Hong Kong, this is a bar that would not be out of place in either city with the service, the attention detail and the creative approach to mixology that are the hallmarks of a truly great bar.

An exceptional experience. It seems pricey, until you consider the normal prices in Zurich, and the amount of thought and work that goes into this menu. The cocktails and delicious and well presented by staff who are knowledgeable and passionate. We didn’t eat here, but I would have loved to come back for dinner if we had the chance.

Absolute favorite bar in Zurich! The cocktails are innovative, well thought out and impress every time - often with unusual and delicious flavor combinations. The attention to detail is also evident in the little stories that accompany every drink and are briefly explained by the great bartenders. The beautifully designed card is already a real eye-catcher. And because it is renewed regularly, there is always something to discover. The elegant living room atmosphere is inviting and cozy.

Wow. Where to start. The menu is not just unique, it is beautiful—I mean the physical menu was probably the most aesthetic menu I've ever held in my hands. It's almost a shame they'll bind new ones every month. The wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, and did not kick us out right at closing on a Tuesday night, but let us order our final round just before, and finish comfortably. The interior is quite classy, and while I was still dressed for our adventures earlier in the day, we were welcomed no different from the better-dressed guests. The drinks themselves were phenomenal. They really matched their themes; clearly a lot of thought was invested into each one. I wish I could have tried them all… This is an absolute gem, and has raised the bar for cocktails everywhere. What a lucky find!

I had the pleasure of visiting No Idea Bar in Zurich a few months ago and I was impressed! My companion and I were greeted with a delicious welcome drink, which immediately put us in the mood for a wonderful evening. The drink was so good that we decided to have a second one. The atmosphere in the bar is unique and the concept is really creative. There is a wide selection of cocktails that can be enjoyed in a friendly and welcoming environment. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and gave us some excellent recommendations. What I also really liked was the fact that the bar offers an excellent selection of snacks and tasty little things that are perfect for drinking. All in all it was a great evening in a great bar. I can really recommend No Idea Bar in Zurich to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Thank you for the great experience and the delicious welcome drink!

Not really a 'no-idea' ;)! Something hidden with an insider tip character. Very pleasant living room Ambiance with modern armchairs, couches. Bar counter that was placed discreetly and centrally. At the big table with a 'chef's table' feeling. Service/bartenders were always very courteous, friendly and professional. The snacks were good and beautiful to look at with a certain sophistication. Priced a little higher. Cocktails were exceptional, precise and well thought out, sometimes a matter of taste and now and then with a little surprise. Gladly again.

Fine drinking instead of fine dining. The appetizers were also pretty good, but the highlight is definitely the drinks. Really innovative, not always tasty, but with flavors that you've probably never had before. A real enrichment for Zurich. You can certainly work on the lighting concept and make the whole thing a little more comfortable.

We had a closed event here, including a wine tasting with excellent wine, dim sum selection and some fingerfood. Service, food and drinks as well as atmosphere was amazing. Will be coming back :)

Amazing cocktails! The cocktail menu is full with their own inventions (also rotates twice a year), and everything we tasted was superb. Attentive staff that knows their trade very well. The place is quite spacious so doesn't feel packed even when full.

What a wonderful oasis with a chilled vibe and amazing owner Andrew and fantastic bar man Telmo! This is THE place to go…

A week ago, on early Friday evening at 6pm I wanted to walke into this new bar with my 3kg morkie dog for which I especially brought a bag along. There was literally only one other guest sitting there. When I kindly asked if the bar was already opened, the waiter replied in a very snobby way that they were already open but dogs were not allowed. Before I could even reply he already had turned his back on me and started walking away. I allowed myself to comment that I was astonished as besides Kronenhalle I wouldn't know a place in Zurich which prohibits dogs. The waiter turned around and sayed in a arrogant british englisch "yeah... we're unique..." WOW! I wanted to give this new place a chance but being treated so unfriendly and not welcomed I would never spent a cent at this place. There are better places in the neighborhood where potential customers are treated respectfully. Even if you don't allow dogs which I can understand, you can communicate it in a polite way.

I’ve lived in Zurich a long time and have experienced many insipid, uninteresting (often overpriced) drinks in the city. There is nothing insipid, uninteresting or overpriced about the cocktails at No Idea! These are generous drinks, with unique flavour profiles; thoughtfully prepared and presented. Spoilt for choice, you’ll want to drink your way through the menu. Had No Idea what to do this weekend? Now you do!

My wife and I were warmly welcomed and very competently served. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting. The drinks menu was as impressive as the drinks themselves. A journey of good taste and sensory highs. An absolute must in Zurich!

Everything about this cocktail bar is amazing. The unique cocktails, and food are delicious. I have never seen anything that matches the skill and thought that goes into their menu. I actually went twice within the span of 3 days. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They have great indoor and outdoor seating too.

Well five stars… I went there with little expectations. How many times was I disappointed by „new“ openings. Innovation is rare in Zurich. But boy, NoIdea is a breath of fresh air. The coherence between aesthetics, products, charm and effort is outstanding. Starting from a spatial idea with an unconventionally furnished room to beautifully printed menu books, a very well selected lineup of spirits everything becomes a little composition. The cocktails are very well curated and not less impressive. But expect to be taken on a journey. The menu might not fulfil your expectations but surpass them if you let it happen.

The super friendly staff and the beautiful set out room creates a relaxed atmosphere that you can't help but linger. A sure winner for me.

Finally, it’s the bar we’ve been craving for in Zürich. A beautifully designed space allows you to relax with friends while remaining classy, without being pretentious. The laid back atmosphere does not interfere however, with the creativity and care that goes into everything the staff does. It has the most beautiful menus, and cocktails with flavour combinations that are unmatched for those of us who love trying something out of the ordinary. But if you’d rather have a glass of bubbly or a drink less adventurous, they’ve got that too. Honestly, can’t wait to return.
