Nooba in Zürich

Very good asian cuisine with a lot of decorative plants. Ordered some niji mochi green tea (handcrafted, not the frozen ones) which never arrived (I love them sooo much -mimimi-). Unfortunately the seating is tight. Staff was friendly.

Visited around 4 pm to have a late lunch ,nice welcome , well mannered personnel all if them tried to take care of your order in a glance. Ordered chicken and rice 🌾 🍚 🍗 nicely made the sauce was going well with chicken. The food arrived in a minute. Of course prepared before and all was good with that I liked the taste of salad beside it 🥗. The ambient was nice garden type with nice lamp decoration. Tea ☕ and little moochi was the expensive part of the meal but was good just not worthed really moochi was very small but nice passionsfruit one.

We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday at Nooba. It was a lovely evening. The staff were very friendly and courteous and the food was delicious. Even when there was a fire alarm, the staff reacted professionally and took care of the guests after the alarm had gone off. We felt well looked after and safe.

There's a lot going on, great food, friendly and attentive service! Great evening

Great Asian food at moderate prices

The food is fantastic. Super tasty and reasonably priced for the area. We were there with our 3 year old daughter, she loved the fried rice.

This restaurant is by far the best one I’ve been to ! The food is delicious and the staff is just adorable and so nice, they’re all very understanding and always have a smile on their face. The food is incredible, and the ambiance is also super ! Thanks to the two waiters we had, they were the best ! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to come to Zurich and try out the restaurant ! Very pleasing and charming ! ✨

I was having a business lunch and, in spite I booked a table 2 days in advance, we were offered a shared table. A free table for two was available: it was not offered to us but remained free all the time. Not the best service for what we needed. At lunch it’s a ‘cantine’ type of service. I will consider it for the future.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and I found the volume level to be completely ok in relation to the size of the room. The open kitchen is great and fun to watch. The food itself is fine. It's not bad, but it didn't have a wow effect either. I just lacked the pizzazz. The service was extremely good. We were served very lovingly and attentively by a Thai lady. She gave us extremely good advice and always made sure everything was going well with us. Thank you!!!! :-)

The bowls are very good. We went there for dinner on a weekday: very crowded and noisy. The service was ok, but very expeditive.

I have reserved a table. And always happy. The food was delicious. Very authentic, fine and recommended. Service was very attentive and friendly.

The service was subpar - neither friendly nor attentive and seemed very overwhelmed. The food was average, the small portion of papaya salad was very small and carelessly prepared. The fried rice with chicken was rather tasteless and slapped on the plate. My pho with tofu was totally boring in terms of taste. My conclusion: too expensive for this service (despite the staff discount, which was then not calculated correctly on the invoice). The ambience is good, you can have a good conversation even when it's full. But since the drinks are also totally overpriced (we had Aperol Spritz, which mainly consisted of water and ice cubes), I probably won't come back. Too bad, I liked Nooba.

The food was very tasty and a perfect portion. Great selection of food. The service is attentive and friendly. The ambience is modern but it is rather loud for conversation and you also share the table with other people. Always happy for a casual meeting with friends for dinner.

Visiting this place regularly due to its authentic asian dishes and friendly and fast service. The veggie green curry, paneer masala and the pad thai are my go-to dishes.

Food average, too expensive for what you get. I've ordered pho and never had it as bad as it was here. I know Pho differently. The soup is somehow mixed with curry paste. Iced Matcha doesn't taste like matcha at all, just milk! Service was sometimes poor, inattentive. Waiting time at lunchtime 30-40 minutes, really no-go. I really have to think twice about coming here again.

The menu selection is very good and the food tastes good, but during lunchtime, during the week, the service is very, very slow. Last Thursday we had to wait over half an hour for food after ordering.

Gyoza very tasty. Pho absolutely no taste. Had to add a lot of soy sauce and Sriracha to get any taste. Service very friendly, restaurant very nice.

Despite online order (confirmed) and additional telephone conversation were staff confirmed that food will be ready at requested time, food was not ready.

Love their Japanese style fried chicken dish, but lunch during winter time is not pleasant, as everyone has to stay indoor and it becomes super crowded and noisy, the tables are very cramped and people have to share a very tight table for four with other guests

The Nooba is on the ground floor and easily accessible for anybody. We were greeted welcome and shown to a table even without reservation. They are very friendly and helpful. The food is Asian and inspired from China, Japan and Thailand. It all looks very healthy and nice. The food was well plated. It was all very tasty and spicy. The price is fair for what they are offering in quality. I can well recommend this restaurant and we will for sure return here again.

The food is very tasty and beautifully presented. The prices are moderate. The highlight is the Thai ice tea, which is not too sweet.

Always my pleasure. Super fine, authentic food. The only disadvantage in winter is the sliding door, which always opens or stays open when people have to queue at the entrance. Then - depending on where you sit - it can get quite cold and uncomfortable. This time we were lucky with the table and we didn't have to freeze.

Unfortunately the service wasn't great. They couldn't serve us the starter separately from the main course (as the effort would be too high). Likewise, the waiter did not want to accommodate any changes to the ingredients of a curry.

Very nice restaurant, very nice atmosphere. The dishes are also very tasty. What's really a shame is that there are unfortunately no smaller portions (e.g. for older people); with fried rice this wouldn't be a problem. Food waste is produced unnecessarily, therefore only 4 out of 5 stars,

On a busy Saturday it was the one restaurant that accepted walk-in for lunch. As expected the food was no better than average.

We waited over an hour for the food then the chicken masala arrived cold and the chicken was still raw. The waiter was super nice and took the dish off our bill...the atmosphere is more like a canteen and doesn't do justice to the price-performance ratio at all. Wouldn't come anymore.

I am a solo traveler and it can be intimidating eating on my own but the people at Nooba were very welcoming. The food was perfect. I had the soba noodles with chicken. Absolutely delicious!

The place is great, food & service are outstanding. As it is in the centre, it gets full pretty fast, so book if you want a table. Tables are usually for 2 hours, so you need to count with that at dinner time. Easy to book, service is not complicated, menu is great as well (wide enough selection, but also not too complicated). Can only recommend it!

Ordered starters and main, waited over 45 mins for the starters just to find out all the food was brought to the table at the same time. We were forced to eat starters and mains at the same time after a very long wait.. The waiter was completely useless in explaining the rationale and blamed the kitchen when clearly it was the way he had pass the order on which caused the chaos. Worst service in town.

Nice setting. Can sit both inside and outside. Food is ok. Pricing is reasonable. Great location. Very nice setting.

The food is good but for a thai curry I would expect thai vegetables instead of carrots, zucchini, etc. Plus a few thai chillies (fresh). And a som tam should be spicy, again with thai chillies! Far from original thai food, unfortunately.

The food is sensational, the service is top notch. Atmosphere: it's crowded and very loud.

Actually a nice restaurant, but the seating is far too narrow. You sit elbow to elbow with other guests. Very unpleasant, especially when the other guests still have food with an oven and lots of bowls and bowls. Then there is very little space left.

Friendly service, nice outdoor seating and a diverse menu

I made a reservation for 4 people with a special deal for a table grill. When we were seated we were told we only ordered meat 2x. (I never said how many people eat meat and how many don't) If I make a reservation for 4 people I also assume that 4 people eat and not just two. The usher politely explained things to us and served us the missing meat. The food was very tasty and the service, especially Kung, was very friendly and attentive. Gladly again.

Visited here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Place was packed, fortunately we were able to secure a table. We ordered couple of beers, Starter platter with Gyoza, Chicken Satay and edamame. It was very tasty, specially Gyoza was amazing. For main course we ordered Chicken Katsu, Cashew chicken and Paneer Masala. All of them are delicious. Service was very good even though it was a busy day. We had a great dining experience here.

Excellent food and drinks. I recommend We ordered a home made lemonade that was really good as well. I had a pad Thai and a cola for 32 chf which is quite good. I would come back to try some other dishes. They have a lot of choices. The service was also good but a bit intense at the end, we had the impression that they wanted to free our table so they kept asking if we wanted something else.

Very spicy food beware! The restaurant is very well situated and looks beautiful, the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the food is too spicy and isn't always flagged as such in the menu. I had a Miso Ramen which was so hot that I could barely eat it. My son had the red Curry with chicken with only had one spice shown on the menu but was too hot for him. And the meat gyoza was bland. So unfortunately, despite a very nice looking restaurant and food, a disappointing experience.

I ordered a meat dish, but specifically told the waitress that I wanted less meat and more vegetables. The dish was served as standard with lots of meat. The service person spoke broken High German, probably didn't understand my Swiss German, but didn't ask.

The food was good. Unfortunately the wrong one was brought to me. We tried to inform the service employees but they were so busy that no one took us. I also had to wait in vain for my second water. The guests next to us also ordered water but unfortunately they had to wait almost 45 minutes for their water. I also work in the catering industry and know that it is stressful. Maybe accept fewer guests.

Unfortunately I have to say that the service is a complete disaster. The waitress had no idea what wheat was when we said that my friend had a wheat allergy. A salad couldn't be made without soy sauce - weird. We ordered and followed up after 40 minutes, where the food was popular. They hadn't ordered it yet. When we followed up again, they came to us and asked us what we would like: takeaway or keep waiting. We didn't feel like waiting another 40 minutes. At midday, mind you. A pure disaster. So we left without eating because our lunch break was already over.

Asian fusion cuisine. Very bad ramen, gyoza were served cold. We sat outside, service was very slow. In the women's toilet, the water from the tap sprayed directly onto my pants. Unfortunately, overall a failure. Not recommended and rather expensive for what it is.

Food was alright, although a bit pricy for a standard curry. Nothing special, good for lunch.

The Nooba is in the middle of Europaallee and offers an extensive Asian menu. The glass noodle salad we ordered was tasty, but we could probably have done without the dim sum. You can sit outside or inside, although inside at the long tables it can get so loud that conversation is no longer possible. The staff works quickly and you can order food all day long. To recommend.

The food is beautifully presented. A feast for the eyes. The dishes are beautiful, the restaurant is also great. There were 4 of us and we ordered 3 main courses, Dim Sum, Dumpling Soup, Nooba Salad, and another vegetable dish, which means we had a lot of dishes on the table and every dish tasted boring. Not seasoned properly, everything kind of tasted the same. A pity.

I've been here several times, but I've never experienced such unfriendly service anywhere in Zurich today ("What do you want?", food placed on the table without a word...). The menu was quite confusing, full of colored dots. What I chose had a green dot, it was called vegi. But there was also a red dot somewhere at the top, which I missed and the food was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. It wasn't possible to exchange it, so I ate a portion of rice for 24 CHF.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time I had lunch and I found that it had been left ready for a long time before it was served - so the dish was only lukewarm.

In a nice place close to the station, nice street but unfortunately there was only 3 waiters for more than 20 tables, they brought us 2 times dishes we didn’t order and took around 15 min to take our order. Food was nice but nothing amazing.

Not at all recommended. Food tastes bad. I had the Salmon Teriyaki. Sauce was disgusting, vegetables too hard &not fresh. Salmon not of good quality. Missing of seasoning (garlic, pepper etc) Just don't go here, there are way better options in Zürich

Perfect from the online table reservation to the advice, friendly, competent service, excellent food, excellent price-performance ratio. Only one star deducted for the sound level. When the place is full, it's tiring to have a conversation with four (or more) people at the table.

I can definitely recommend Dim Sum. However, the fried rice was bland. In addition, the green curry was quite watery and did not have the creamy consistency that one would expect from coconut milk. Price/performance ratio is right for Zurich, Europaallee. Waiter very friendly.
