Great place for a quick lunch on a lazy saturday

Picked up food... then sat on the toilet all night. So there was something wrong with the curry.

NO Go! Never ever recommending such places who are so arrogant and have ZERO respect for their customers! Manager of the Kreuzplatz restaurant is utterly unpolite and unacceptable person. we made a reservation week ago, but as we arrive he says we have more people booked yesterday so we can only give you the seats beside toilet!! as we asked for other seats, he offers the one seat exactly closer to toilet! we left and had excellent Indian food on the other side of the street. NO WAY for such people and such restaurant managers! Pity for the restaurant owners to choose such irresponsible characters as manager, as they will lose easily their reputation and wont be able to gain it back.

Excellent welcome and many specialties available. Pleasant terrace! After returning to this restaurant after two years there are still so many customers and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu has evolved favorably and we will undoubtedly come back again and we will be sure to find an exotic scent!

Fine Asian food. It also has vegetarian and vegan starters and main courses.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was okay but nothing special. At the Asian stand, you get the same thing for half the price. The prices are rather high. We were at the table with 6 other strangers even though we had reserved. For these prices, you should at least be among us.

Nooba offers delicious food and an interesting selection of dishes. I was really impressed by the taste of the food. However, I noticed that the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed when I visited. This led to longer waiting times and a certain level of unrest. Still, the food was good enough to deserve four stars. I hope the staff finds ways to improve the service.

My lunch I had at this amazing Asian place. Gyoza and dim sum were amazing. I highly recommend order an dim sum with veal. At the salad was too much dressing with nuts that got stuck in my throat🤪 The soup was pretty nice. The waiter Marky was friendly. My rate is 5/5

Nice casual atmosferic restaurant with a lot of good food options. Food was really superb, and a good amount for a fair price. Service was not so good. I asked for the bill with a waiter, but he never came over. Had to ask another waitress for the bill, but I think I almost sat there for an hour before someone noticed me. A lot of people were waiting for their orders to be taken, for their food or to receive the bill. Felt like they were very understaffed.

The food quality is a disaster. This has changed over time, unfortunately negatively. The food is very bland (e.g. rice tasts like paper) and the service could be better. Prices are on the higher side too. Not worth your money! A pity for a place located at such a great location.

Very nice restaurant with a large terrace. Extensive selection of Asian dishes, deliciously prepared and served by friendly staff. Recommended for a cozy evening. Only the traffic noise is a little annoying at times.

The food is not so tasty. The Chicken Curry was not eatable. When we asked to replace it, the waitress said we will have to pay for it anyway. This is unacceptable…

Food was OK but was not worth the price

Very bad food, nothing taste like real asia :( overpriced what you get and not good at all… don’t order pa kra pao(pad gra bao) We didn’t want to complain because its big chain they wouldn’t care. Actually i ate it all with cause it would be paint to leave plate for 30chf and we were so hungry with my bf :( Bibim Myu was just a lot if sugar and aceto , too much sauce and glass noodles totally overcooked :(

Always worth a visit! Whether outside or inside - the service lined up throughout the conveyor belt is remarkable. Always a smile, that's part of it here. In terms of food, the palate moves from classic to classic, with extra spicy or lots of coriander if required. Price-performance is right.

The food was very nice, but we had to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes. I experienced this for the first time. Very difficult feeling.

I’ve been going to Nooba ever since I’ve moved here to Zurich (around 10 years) and I’ve never once been disappointed. We love the food there (I recommend the Chicken Fried Rice which alternatively comes with vegetables or tofu) and highly recommend Nooba to anyone. It is quite pricey but it’s totally worth it. You get a huge portion for what you pay and there is family friendly food on the menu with matching prices for the little ones. If you ever feel like eating out, add Nooba to your list.

Fried rice with chicken never disappoints

The place has a very young and decontracted vibe but understaffed so try and go there when it's not too full. The Mango -Cocktails were very good the dumplinglike starters ok but nothing special. We had fried rice, noodles and a salad. For the fried rice you can choose with meat(beef, duck, chicken ...) or none.

The ambience is nice. Personally, I find the plastic court blankets inappropriate in this day and age. The vegan miso soup was unfortunately very bland and the dahl was very boring and had no depth.

Ordered home delivery, one of four dishes was inedible. After an unfriendly phone call, they appeared unmotivated to deliver a replacement dish. When I explained that my problem of being the only one not having dinner with the family had not been solved, I was promised a call back. Around 1.5 hours later, the food still hasn't arrived and I haven't received a refund message. For me, such behavior from a restaurant is unacceptable.

Ordered PHO but its rubbish! The soup is bland and they put freaking curry powder on top. They do not have hoisin sauce which is a must for Pho. Avoid this food chain unless you want to be disappointed.

The ambience is nice, as is the presentation of the dishes. The food is ready quickly and delicious. The chicken was still a little raw. We were there spontaneously and got a place. The service was friendly…a bit fake, but friendly. However, conversations with colleagues took priority over the customer. But basically a good visit.

The dishes are very delicious! Super seasoned and beautifully presented. What I found very unfortunate was the service… we had to wait an extremely long time for our drinks. The starter only came after the main course after we pointed it out to the waiter twice. After the meal our table was completely cleared away so that we sat there empty. Even though the restaurant was only half full, all the waiters were very stressed.

Ordered vegan Nooba Udon soup as a takeaway, which was also only available as a vegan version with soy mince. At home, I unpacked a watery, tasteless soup that contained neither miso, peanuts, nor soy mince, but instead plenty of chicken meat... Really poor performance...

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately there are a few points that I have to complain about. The staff was very bad, unfriendly and not attentive. Except for the waitress who served us. She was friendly, but it was only her second day at the restaurant and was completely overwhelmed. Unfortunately, no one supported her, so there were long waiting times and complaints at the tables she served. Of our 5 drinks, 2 came wrong and we only got the wine after asking repeatedly. My cashew chicken was actually with dates... they were missing... At 10.30 p.m. (there were a few other people) our table was completely cleared away... when my colleague complained about it, the waitress said it wasn't an upscale restaurant... We expected more from a restaurant in the city of Zurich with such prices.

The green curry was the best I'd ever had, clearly made with the freshest and most authentic ingredients. The ambience and decoration is wonderful and the service very friendly. Highly recommend. Be sure to ask for "very spicy" if you're a bit of a spice freak like me!

First time there, very polite and professional staff. Food was really good, so good in fact I was able to ignore the ambulances that were passing by every 7 minutes. (Streetparade). So I recommend going there any other day and you will not regret it!

By far my best Pad Thai with Giant shrimps, fresh ingredients. Good location with confortable shadowed by umbrella terrasse next to tram stop for nice lunch or dinner

I think there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to eating. If you charge 26 CHF for a simple dish like Pad Thai (I had canceled the shrimps), that should be okay. I found it very loveless and bland, as did my companion. The interior is really attractive, but doesn't make up for the mediocre food. The service could also use a motivational boost. After I returned the flies that were swimming in the soy sauce along with the soy sauce, there could have at least been an apology, that's really disgusting. Conclusion, price - performance is simply not right here.

Come to Nooba for its fusion cuisine and nice service - the soup broths could have been better today... - Update 6.22: very fast food service at lunch time!

Very slow service over lunch time

We've eaten here a few times and we've always received very friendly service and the food is absolutely excellent. We are absolute fans of the sweet and sour edamame and the soups

The food is very good, large selection of vegetarian and vegan menus. Restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The service was disappointing: we waited an incredibly long time before we could place the order and receive the food. We got the menu ourselves because the waiter ignored us. The waiter was rather grumpy, but in our opinion was also far too busy with the many guests.

I am surprised there were negative reviews for this place. We had a fantastic experience for dinner here. We were served quickly, we were made to feel very welcome and the food was very very good. I would definitely recommend Nooba Kreizplatz

Very fine food, the price is right and the service is very friendly, with a beautiful and large outdoor area. What more do you want? Nooba is also a top address for take-away.

Great restaurant for lunch. The two lunch wok menus have a super fair price and are super tasty and there is something new every time. I eat there every week!

The food is just okay, but the waiting times are crazy. 1 hour for the mains, 30 minutes for a dessert. And the smell of food/smoke is terrible
