Cafe located inside the Zürich international airport terminal. Very good option to have breakfast and not fly with an empty stomach, especially now that airlines no longer offer food.

RACIST! The shop is suppose to be open at 5:00, but 2 Indian guys were supposedly not ready and did not want to sell me a sandwich. When Indian family came they made them coffee and sold some food, when I asked them if they are open or not they lied that they are opening only 5:30. Other customers were treated the same way.

If you have the opportunity to find a free table, you can enjoy breakfast even more.

But quite expensive... baguette with beef... about €15.00... normal for Swiss

Very good coffees and Brezel, plenty of NZZ - papers available, good illumination for reading and very conveniently place next to a bookstore. Good place for the long waits.

Average experience with each passage, fortunately he is on the way to the boarding gates. Functional but not cheap, not pleasant.

Actually, it doesn't really stand out as an airport cafe! If it has something to do with the excellent "Neue Züricher Zeitung", I would like it to look a little more attractive and more appealing to the public.

Various limited options for buffet style food. No pizzas today, and meat section was very slow. Seating inside and out.

Asked for veg dish (emphasising atleast 5 times). The waitress still gave chicken. Horrible attitude. You might observe different service based on your color.

When the average is finally dragged down by prices that are too high. The pretzel was dry and tasteless. The croissant wasn't very crispy and the cappuccino was a failed attempt at creating a coffee drink. The only positive thing to note is the range of vegan snacks. However, I doubt whether they taste good...

You're used to everything being a little more expensive at airports, but 12.90CHF for a beer and a Sprite isn't expensive, it's a rip-off. If you want to pay with cash there, you will get your change back in CHF. Normal so far, but the exchange rates are just a joke.

Sandwich cold from fridge….when I asked to warm it they replied it wasn’t possible and that they just warmed the tomato sandwich and not my ham and cheese one.. so I had to eat my 12€ sandwich cold.

The Caesar salad was really an imposition... firstly, it was lettuce and not lettuce, secondly, the lettuce had simply been shredded without removing the stalk and brown leaf parts and thirdly, the croutons were not worth the name, tasteless and soft. Unfortunately I didn't have time to file a complaint

Leaving aside all the useless considerations about how everything results overpriced for many of us in the whole Zürich airport; I must point out that the staff of this cafè was formed by the only people that I met working at the Zürich airport who treated and approached the public with proper manners. Some of them also attended customers with a smile on their face, without showing the typical Swiss smirk. On the top of that, there's plenty of choice in their offer and the food/beverages are pretty good. The kind of place where I would recommend to stop by and have a nice German beer (the Erdinger never disappoints) AND (if you're rich) a little snack from their bakery. PS I had the mezzaluna just because I received a meal voucher as compensation due to my flight's delay.

The supervisor here should be fired, he was very, very cheeky and arrogant. I've never experienced anything like that in my life... Simply terrible!!!!!

Close to the gate, but prices are extremely high. But the staff is worse. Super bored, unfriendly, you feel like you're a bother. No smile, no thank you. Never again.

Helpful and delightful employees who explain menu choices to confused people who have no idea what they’re looking at. The semmeli lyoner sandwich was amazing, though I’d describe it as more like bologna or something like liverwurst than meatloaf. And the Bircher muesli was delicious—could eat that every day.

Busy little cafe in the airport, pretty expensive and kind of grumpy staff.

Just bought croissants and pain au chocolat. It is 6:20am and they tasted like they had been lingering around for 2 days. 30 meters away at Marche the croissants were fresh and crispy... the caffe was bitter ... horrible overall quality for the price charged!

The coffee is overpriced, fully automatic junk that spoils any good reading.

Good place to have a coffee before a flight and grab a book or magazine. Also has a seating area if you have more time to spend.

A nice place to refuel and pass some time between flights. I had a 6 hour layover and spent at least 3 hours in the Cafe. I was never rushed to leave, even when it was getting crowded. The food was good, the drinks were cold, and the prices were comparable to airport cafes around the world.

Worst coffee I had in a long time. Tastes like hot water for almost 8fr.

Unfriendly staff. The gentleman didn't hear me when I asked for a pain au chocolat, I asked him to add it, he almost slapped my hands so that I didn't put my card in the reader because I didn't understand what he told me. A little patience won't hurt.

Totally overpriced. Charging CHF 25 for a sandwich, a coffee and a PET drink is a lot. Even if the rents at the airport are very high, it is still far too expensive.

I don't know how many times I've ended my trip in this bar with Ittinger, it reminds me well. I recommend stopping here when traveling.

Best cafe in the airport departure zone!

The prices are beyond good and bad, even for an airport! A cup of fruit (melons) costs a hefty CHF 7.90!!! For a few bites of melon...

I would like to thank to you. My coffee cup falled down because recently I had an accident to my hand and I received another one free! The girl who cleaned the mess was very sweet and helpful. The ham and cheese sandwish was delicious! Keep it up!:)

My friend thought the bircher muesli was very, very good. Prices are quite expensive as you are used to at the airport. But a water 7 francs? Quite a bit. The few seats behind the café are quickly filled. The arrangement could definitely have been changed to make it a little more practical. What we also found very unfortunate was the service, the first time we bought something it was more neutral, later we had to wait a long time for the water because the seller and his colleague were still having private conversations and that's why it was easy to use have left. Very unfortunate. The sandwiches were quite tasty and would probably buy them again. Hopefully the service will be better then.

Order at the checkout, then pick up on the other side. Staff rather reserved and not very friendly. The prices are rather high. For two coffees with croissants almost 20 CHF.

Early morning (before 7:00am) we got experienced disappointing taste, especually of espresso ,and some kind of "service" unfortunately(for us)...

2 mineral water + 2 dried-out sandwiches for CHF 30.70. Not entirely sane!!! And the answer to the review is a joke and a copied phrase without reference to the criticism: The sandwiches were definitely not fresh and they weren't of "high quality" either - totally dry and not enough filling. This doesn't have to do with "high quality" but rather with rip-offs. We didn't notice anything about the "exceptional service" either... We will definitely never visit this place again.
