If you come from Portugal then you will be very well received and there is a warm camaraderie uniting people from the Portuguese community. If however you are not part of this community the boss in particular is will not be at all friendly. I live next door and have been a client there at least 50 times and he never greeted or even smiled in our direction despite us spending quite a lot of money and being polite and open to conversation. The produce are rather greasy (but to be fair many Portuguese pastries are) and in my opinion the quality is not top notch. It is a place where you can get the basics without refinement. Some of the ladies that work there are, however. much more friendly.

This is a wonderful safe place with a good ambience. There are not many places in Genève that are open from so early to late. While food and coffee reviews are a personal experience, this is for me a potential comfortable base in Servette. It could be a reason to live here.

Delicious Portuguese cafe with excellent dessert

Received by a not kind blonde lady with glasses. Slow service. Dry old pain chocolate and a cappuccino which was just foam. The coffe part was not even a cm in the cup. Cheaper places in the area such as très alpin who gives you more for less money

Nice place to share a good coffee, excellent salad and a cake. The girl who served us is incredible, very nice and very fast, she was alone serving us and she was very fast with all the orders and very attentive, I was really worried about her but she handles the service very well. The place is spacious and clean, very pleasant, with background music. Recommended.

Friendly atmosphere to come and have an ovomaltime while tasting croissants

We ordered a birthday cake. When I arrived to pick it up it was already broken in the middle. And not just a little! The waitress apologized and told us that it was due to transportation. However, no discounts! The birthday photos this year have a cake broken almost in two, with strawberries in the decoration that we didn't dare eat because they were black. Next year we will order the cake elsewhere 😉. It's been a while since the competition has been doing better in terms of quality and variety but especially in terms of service.

And the service was very poor too ... There was only one server doing everything in the store and she seemed uninterested in anything

Welcoming and smiling but missing the Portuguese sun

Twice I've ordered a cake and this is the second time I've had it. The employees speak almost no French and are very unpleasant. I just got a personalized cake today and even though I spelled out what I wanted to write on it I don't know how many times, there are typos. Truly unacceptable! I don't recommend it at all

ATTENTION! the only BOM GOSTO open today, December 31, 2020, is that of Vernier. I hope that this information will help everyone who needs it because I waited 1 hour in front of the bakery. Nice café, but they straight up lied when I asked for a decaf coffee. I saw them grind the coffee and split the espresso between the 'decaf' and the caffeinated drinks. I wouldn't mind if they just told me they don't have decaf and I'd order something else.

Just discovered this gem. Awesome place for studying and writing! big enough to have your quiet corner. You can sit inside or outside as you wish! The drinks and food are quite cheap for Geneva standards. Staff are super nice. Chairs are comfy. Bathroom is renovated and is super clean. It's not located in a busy street. so an awesome place for working.

Nice tea room and very good Portuguese pastries

Very good and beautiful bakery which offers very good Portuguese specialties. A breakfast there is Top!!! Also possible to drink a little coffee with a small snack in the middle of the afternoon!!! The interior is pretty, the decoration is good, it reminds me a little of ecology, nature, greenery, I can't tell you why? But it's a very nice place where you feel comfortable, plus it's always cool and it's super pleasant. The large windows allow us to see clearly outside and give us a feeling of depth. The service is good, the staff are always pleasant, smiling and very professional. This place is a little hidden and really not far from the main rue de la Servette, honestly they deserve to be more visible but hey, they are not far from the tram stop called la Servette. The terrace is against the windows but it allows us to be outside and in summer it's great. Obrigado to this establishment which I highly recommend.

Personal waiters are not very friendly and the fresh produce is not as fresh

I have always been to their stand in the Blandonnet shopping center where the service is always warm and done with a smile, I learned that they had this bakery at La Servette and I wanted to try it. Well I won't go back there. The products are the same but the service is nothing like it - there were only 3 people having their coffee quietly and I had the impression of being a disturbance when I returned. Cold and expeditious service. Blandonnet here I come!

the pastry shop nothing to say, but the welcome is not the same for everyone. So here, I can guarantee you that your welcome will be by far warm, the employees are rarely smiling and that makes the customers uncomfortable , take their time to serve you (again it depends on the customer.)

Good/normal prices for Geneva, plenty of seats, pleasant atmosphere, open on Sunday, Portuguese sweets. Unfortunately, few vegetarian options, but overall recommended.

This is a good local portugaise bakery. It is simple nothing over the top but meets the requirement. Sometime there is a bit of waiting but it usually disolves quickly. They have there own Portuguese specialities and they do classic bakery like croissants a little bit different than usually done in Geneva.

Decors with exposed stones, fresh and pleasant colors. It feels like Lisbon. Portuguese clientele, calm atmosphere. A stone's throw from the tram (Servette).

We were able to find this beautiful location, with the usual excelent goodies of the Bom Gosto. The service was impecabble an courteous! We had freshly-squeezed orange juice, amazing coffee and well-toasted ham and melting cheese sandwich! Highly recommended!!!!

If you like sweet and tasty pastries, this is where you have to go. I come here to get my "pastéis de nata" or portuguese croissants (these are huge). Give the Muffins a try - delicious! Don't come here if you're on a diet... 😉🙋
