Oliveto in Crans-Montana

Really excellent pizza. I mean, really good. Will looked after but it must be the quiet season as not a lot of people here (but same applies across the resort). But suspect we will be coming back.

Friendly and warm place. Very good dish and well served.

Service with a smile and a friendly welcome from the owner. Excellent pasta specialty with an average quantity (8 ravioli stuffed with mint and mashed potatoes). On the other hand, the eggplant pizza dough lacked volume and barely filled the plate served.

Not recommended. We ordered take away. Pizzas are small and expensive. The salad (for 15.5 CHF) was tiny (no tomatoes were delivered) and the sauce smelled bad.

Very good spaghetti with vongole preceded by a salad of fresh artichokes and strips of grana. Fendant in the JR Germanier glass, very pretty at a fair price. Tables not spaced far enough apart and a wine list without a vintage or even for certain wines without a producer are the only two negative points which mean that I will not return there as often as the cuisine deserves. We always have a great time at Oliveto. The welcome is warm, the owners are adorable and the service is friendly and efficient. Pizza, pasta or fish, everything is delicious and the products are quality. We look forward to coming back.

Stayed nearby here for a week working. The food here is excellent. The pizzas are right up there in quality! Can’t wait to come back again next year to have another.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant tonight. My wife and I arrived at 9:36 PM, well before their supposed closing time of 10 PM. Having dined here multiple times close to 10 PM previously, I expected a warm welcome. However, the treatment we received was shockingly rude and unprofessional from two of the waitresses. Upon entering, we were met with a disdainful look from the waiter who promptly informed us that they were closed. I politely pointed out that it was only 9:36 PM, and that their advertised closing time was 10 PM. Unfortunately, the waiter dismissed us, displaying a complete lack of hospitality. It was clear that they were in a hurry to close up for the night, but their disregard for us as customers was truly disappointing. The attitude of the staff left a sour taste in our mouths, and we left the restaurant feeling unwelcome and disrespected. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment, let alone one that relies on customer patronage to thrive. I have frequented this restaurant in the past, enjoying meals close to their closing time, but after this experience, I will think twice before returning. It's a shame that what was once a reliable and enjoyable dining spot has now become associated with such a negative encounter. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the unprofessional behavior of their staff to prevent other customers from experiencing a similar situation.

I ordered the Tartar d'Italienne with the request that I only wanted it seasoned with salt, pepper, a little olive oil, lemon and grated Parmesan. Carne battuta. After the sample, I pointed it out again and the server replied that the Parmesan was served separately. I got very good quality meat, but that was all. There was neither lemon nor, as requested, grated parmesan. This came in thick slices on a separate plate. I don't feel like I was taken seriously by the service staff and they never asked me if everything was okay. A pity.

We ate pizza twice and it was great!! The pizza was halved for us because otherwise it would be too much. The other dishes also looked delicious and all at a reasonable price! The service was tip top!

The dishes are incredible, there is a lot of choice, the crevice and the atmosphere are ok (except when there are really a lot of people). The decoration is very pretty, I recommend.

A very sunny terrace got the better of my resistance. Seated around a dish of the day, I did not regret having invited myself. Tasty cuisine and served with a smile. The menu is varied and you want to taste everything. Practical for people with reduced mobility because it is on one level. To discover !!!

Very good vegetable platter and vegetable minestrone served on hot plates. Price performance ok - as always in Valais the wine makes the bill more expensive - service ok; you also have to try to speak three languages.

We are from Saudi Arabia and we are visiting Crans-Montana. We had our first dinner outside yesterday at Oliveto, the food was great and the service as well. Very welcoming staff also very clean and comfy restaurant.

Very unpleasant waitress. We wanted a table that was both in the shade and in the sun at 10am. She asked us to move to another table so she could do the midday mise en place. Obviously the only table she didn't set was the one we wanted. I don't understand how we can implement it so early, especially on a market day. People stop to drink coffee, an aperitif, etc. again at this time.

Didn’t book but the staff was accommodating, and the pastas for our daughter were served extremely fast which is always appreciated with young kids. Staff was kind and attentive, pizzas were as good as you can expect in an Italian restaurant.
