Magnificent terrace: the location is exceptional, especially in the evening to see a magnificent sunset over Lake Constance. We go there for the fish fillets (perch, Féra or Zander) which are good and for the beautiful atmosphere. There are parking spaces nearby.

It's a shame about this beautiful place right on the lake. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food. Unfortunately the order went missing, that can happen...but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired and at an expensive price. The fish crispies were more like "fish pamperli", the fries weren't crispy either 😪 and small portions. The beef burger for 29 Fr. was fried in fish oil and a finished product not homemade. Far too expensive! Unfortunately no longer recommended.

We had to wait more than an hour for the food. The fish crisps were unseasoned and had fish skin on them. Really not recommended and also way too expensive.

At Osci's there are extremely delicious fish specialties in a beautiful corner of the world. However, it has its price. After a walk by the lake or just for a treat, we have often stopped by this restaurant. The selection of dishes, drinks and desserts leaves little to be desired. For people who aren't the biggest fish fans, there are also meaty alternatives. The fish crispies of all kinds are particularly delicious - try them with the spicy sauce. Service is always somewhere nearby. If the beer is empty or something else is needed, they will help you quickly and friendly. My biggest criticism of this restaurant is the constantly rising prices and the shrinking portions. Unfortunately there isn't much fish left in the Knusperli.

Too bad, the terrace is pleasant at the water's edge. But at €4.50 a coffee!!!! You have to be Swiss to find that "normal". And we won't set foot there again!!!! We are 《only》French!!!!!

Very tasty fish crispy, even gluten-free. Great atmosphere with shady trees. Staff friendly. The only downside: the amount of fish crispy you get is a matter of luck. Two portions, one 9 and one 15 in the bowl. And the 9 wasn't any bigger than it would be justified.

Smilig staff, great location, and tasty swissness With no doubts, "Knusperli" belongs to the traditional swiss cuisine. And the OSCI´s staff knows, how to make it & serve it with warm-heart and the way you will like it to have! You will not regret visiting this place. Especially if you combine it with a lake-side trip. The spring/summer time gives a lot of possibilities for outdoor activities around.

Best fish snack on the north side of the Alps

The main thing you pay for here is the location. The fish soup was a bland bouillon with dry pieces of fish, an Egliknusperli for 29.- corresponds to a bowl of Knusperlis without any side dish. Sauce was then available upon request. Unfortunately the visit was a big disappointment. I can only recommend this place for location and drinks.

Nice restaurant right on the lake. Served quickly. Excellent, well-seasoned fish crispy with great mini fries and grilled vegetables. Salad not recommended, out of the bag and boring sauce. Food gets cold quickly without preheated dishes. A simple restaurant with a great lakeside atmosphere, ideal for spontaneous hunger (no reservation required).

We traveled 1.5 hours to test the best fish crispy in the area according to the internet. Unfortunately the chef was no longer there at 7:30 p.m. and the restaurant was therefore closed. Even though it wasn't a day off.

Unfortunately, there is no information on all internet sites that the kitchen is only open for a limited time. Unfortunately, there was only an unfriendly announcement on site that it was too late for food. It's a shame, coffee and cake would have been nice too.

Nice place by the lake under shady trees. Very pleasant in summer! You couldn't eat until 4:45 p.m., which we only found out in the pub. Service was nice. Had a few little things, not quite the culinary delight but 90 francs (the Egliknusperli, for example, in the photo without anything for 29 francs)... Simply too expensive for what you get. Next time maybe just have an expensive drink and eat somewhere else...

Visited Osci's spontaneously There was a lot going on. We received drinks and food very quickly. Great ambience, cozy, inviting furnishings. It was tasty and everything was ok. Of course...with such a rush and a lack of staff, not everything can be perfect. But hey!! Doesn't matter. We liked it. And if you don't have a stick up your sleeve, the manager can even threaten you with a whip 😉🤣. Everything's fine 👍 I'll definitely come back again

Hello, my dears , Now I have to speak up! Thank you to all the guests who visit us every day and make our day better. As everyone knows, there is currently a major shortage of staff in the catering industry and we can also feel it at OSCI'S, but we try our best every day, even if we are sometimes at the limit of our strength and I think it's a shame that some guests don't see that we give everything. We warmly welcome every guest, but we ask that you spend your time with us comfortably. Even if the meal takes a little longer, you should just enjoy the beautiful lake, the wine and the conviviality of friends and neighbors. Every dish takes time and if our terrace is full and there is a queue at the door, the food doesn't come in 10 minutes. We ask for your understanding if we make a few mistakes or have to wait. I would like to thank my employees from the bottom of my heart who unlock the door with me every morning and are ready to tackle any challenge that awaits us.

Very tasty tarte flambée and super nice service. Place right on the water. It was really good. However, there is a point deduction for the prices. We are used to the German prices, but apparently they were the Swiss prices.

Location very nice, food good. Unfortunately I ordered fish crispy to take away today. Everything in cardboard and plastic, of course... and yet you pay the same price as food on site. There was no cutlery and the chili sauce was missing. Well.

We were only there for a short time. Didn't eat there. The restaurant is very nicely equipped and decorated. The outdoor space is also very nice, right on the lake with a view of the lake. What I don't like that much is that the fish isn't from Lake Constance. Which I think is a bit of a shame since the restaurant is right on the lake.

Locally it's super nice. But it's crunchy, really mushy, nothing like crispy, that's why they're called that. When we mentioned it, they said it was because of the new oil

Seems to be a family business where everyone helps out. Despite the large crowds on Easter Monday, we were greeted immediately and served attentively. The food seemed fresh and was very tasty. The perfect rounding off was the beautifully decorated terrace directly on Lake Constance.

The whitefish fillet with Prosseco sauce was very tasty! The sauce in particular was excellent 🤤 I took all the sauce from the plate with the bread. Unfortunately, the spinach was served too cold and didn't taste that good, a bit too firm to the bite. The waiter was very friendly but misunderstood my colleague when it came to the side dish. The cola is served with ice and lemon, great! The weather was a bit windy and cool outside.

I grew up with the Osci's Fischbeiz and spent most of my childhood working in the garden. And yesterday I was there again - after years. The young and upbeat managing director was an absolute ray of sunshine and served us with wit and charm. The prices are fair and the renovation work was more than worth it. The gardening is more beautiful than ever. The new team is really very friendly and you immediately feel at home! Well done.

Very nice location right on the lake. Very nice and attentive service and we were given blankets and seat cushions because it was a little colder. We had pike, which came directly from Lake Constance on the same day, simply delicious!

We would have liked to have had a leisurely meal at Oscis Fischbeiz today. The welcome wasn't exactly warm and there was nothing to eat either. It says on their website that you don't get anything to eat in the afternoon. We left disappointed.

Beautifully located on the lake and quiet. Great in summer with lots of natural shade from the trees. Delicious fish burger; However, the salad in the Weck jar looked a bit sadly drowned in the sauce.

Friendly service, great atmosphere, very good food

We (2 adults) went to Osci on one of the few wonderful summer evenings. We didn't have to wait in line for too long and got a great table. But what we noticed beforehand was the stressed mood among the employees. So was the service. After approaching us several times and asking if we could at least order the drinks, we left after 20 minutes. Simply no one made an effort to take our order. Hopefully an exception.

Small but nice menu. Crispy perch fried in batter with tartar sauce are my favorite. The tarte flambée is also very tasty. A fine dessert or just 1 scoop of Movenpick ice cream completes the meal perfectly. Nice and attentive service. Thank you for the hospitality.

Great place right on the lake, beautiful scenery, great staff. Cuisine mediocre. Chnusperli bland and not crispy. Other dishes vary. Good to moderate. Selection of white wines poor to moderate.. The times when people went to the Ösci for the Chnusperli are over. A pity. This could be done better.

The location is really unique. You can hardly get any closer to the water. The drinks are great and the food is very good. The quality is convincing and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The prices for the food are on the high side, but for your money you can get really good fish straight from the adjacent lake. In my opinion it's worth a visit.

The idyllic location on the lake leaves nothing to be desired. The crispy whitefish with delicious tartar sauce and leaf spinach were also very tasty. In the past, however, the fish specialties were fried in a batter. This time only in a seasoned flour breading. If you're a bird lover, don't feed your feathered table companions (especially sparrows)! This was also at the suggestion of the landlady.
